Then you do not understand what I wrote. You say drug-free battles are available via the Pro section. True in fact. untrue in practicality. It does not matter if I create the game or someone else creates the game. 16-20 different players have to FIND the game to play it BESIDES the creator. And FINDING such a game is a PITA because it must be done manually checking dozens of games. Believe it or not, is 2017 other companies try to program their product to remove PsITA.for their players.

I love it. Of course this request makes me think of buying cheese in a cheese shop.

The obvious answer is a Overdrive mode that, when you press shift, every enemy tank in the game explodes. Also this ability should charge up every 10 seconds. This should create a game at the skill level Tanki's devs and buyer community want... eliminates all the need for that tedious driving and aiming. SHIFT - BOOM! - Chachacha.
-
Which are these consequences? What a non-serious question but I'll respond anyway. The consequences are if you learn to let your drugs play Tanki for you then your brain never learns how to play the game well.

I agree entirely that Magnum is incredibly easy to use and ridiculously overpowered. But bad design is what Tanki does,
-
Yeah and all yu have to do to find one is visit 22 different servers one at a time, then click on each Pro battle on the 22 servers, then read the little icons until you find a non-drug game. Doesn't take more than a half-hour of tediukm Clearly this is a viable solution.. NOT

Redesign the DD/DA/SU supplies into something that improves game play instead of turning a tank game into Mario Go-Carts. Then you can Overdrive w/o making the "game" even more farcical. But everyone knows that won't happen so ... maintain course on the current death spiral.

The only purpose to the addition of clans was to sell as many $36 clan licenses as possible. Other than the clan chat (BFD) there is no function for clans in the "game" of Tanki. So who cares if you can get in clan or not?

Oh you know I'd love tis one! heh. You are very much correct that there are some very good players who use Magnum and they are just demolishers. But even the average Magnum user will be able to do this much. The people who simply cannot "get" the Magnum interface weed themselves out.So the people who use it have no probs setting the range. -
Heck it not just artillery rounds that can alter their flight. i've seen a video demo of a .50 cal MG round that is self-steering. It requires a laser targeter to illuminate teh target. But damned if the thing did not track and hit a moving vehicle. As for the poroposal to add an alteration that ups Magnums damage and splash radius: ROFL. Just shut the game gdown if that "alteration" is added. It would not be an alteration it would be a power-up 100% of Magnum users would buy and use 100% of the time. That would be OP if the reload time was tripled. Magmum is a uber-noober weapon that is ruining gameplay already.

I agree. Every sign from Tanki is that of a business with all decision driven by a need to raise short-term cash flow. They keep inventing this to sell us like new paints, clans (LOL), those new discount cards. So I think you are right. They are trying to wring every last ruble out of this platform ehile they still can. Entirely agree that that greatest pernicious effect has been to create a eight year old player base that (compared to other game communities) is not very good at understanding their own game.Eight years of hyper-powerful supplies have smoothed over the need to learn higher-level approaches to play, Amazing. Where did you find this list of druggers? Anyway, 2 Cry per supply used is hilarious. Spending 400 Euros on this game is hilarious. There's nothing to achieve in the game worth $400 Euros. And there's no real advantage gained either. No buyer in Tanki at my experience level has better gear than I have as a free player. LOL Well thanks for posting these observations.

And per the quesrionaire just sent out, Overdrive will be made permanent just as predicted. This along with the tripled mission rewards will be spell the end. The overuse of drugs will finally get people to realize using everyone using DA/DD all the time is the exact same thing as no one using any of them LOL the game has been going eight years and the Tank player base in general still hasn't figured this out. Drug vuyers certainly haven't, If they ever do they'll realize how much money they've wasted and their worldview will come crashing down. heh.

No, Tanki's work is unfinished. Not yous. There were supposed to be m0, m1, m2, and m3 alterations. There are not even m1 and m2 alts for all weapon ... for example Striker. So here you are doing their work for them akak if you want something done.... Maybe lots of people would want the alterations, I can only offer my reactions. I just threw some contribution to the topic.

Overdrive backfires and now it is here to stay. I refer to the survey where they say they are "thinking" about adding it to the game. Which means I give you 10:1 odds it will soon be made permanent. Tanki just cut to the chace. Implelent a new supply. Press it and every enemy tank in the game dies. -
One day ago I postd this response to OKDad70. Today the prediction comes true. The questionaire in which they are "thinking" of making Overdrive permanent. When they say "thinking" they mean "decided to do it already but our inherent dishonesty compels us to pretend your feedback will affect this upcoming change" LOL these guys are so predictable. Don't take up chess ladies and fellas. Which one would that be?

More unfinished work form Tanki. If you want something done . . . Overall none of these really jump out at me as something I'd really want. I've not thought much on this before but a coupe ideas occur now. Striker has a very long range. Perhaps one way to go is a vastly shorter range missile but bigger damage or splash. Max damage out to maybe 80-90 instead of 400+ Or perhaps bigger warheads (damage) in exchange for much slower-flying missiles. Those would be far easier to dodge so this variant would probably target terrain sort of the Magnum role. Or tank-killer. Very fast-flying missiles but either no or very small splash. I see this helping single-shots more than salvos. Perhaps the best alteration would be none. We've seen most alterations fail to be neutral in overall effectiveness.

Every point made is untrue. I see a Magnum on most every team now. They are not underpowered in fact they distort game play. They hide in a corner and rack up the kills. I routinely see 20+ kills and fewer than 5 deaths form these things. That constant damage to the other side forces them to stop going for the flag and going to knockj out the magnum ... the mangum team has already won the game at this stage. As for lots of skill and math Bull to the sheet. You hide in a corner, you take a few shots to get the range, then you just repeat it over and over. Once you've played a map a few times you do not even need the first few shots to get the range. It is the EASIEST turret in the game to play - not even close. The problem is Tanki has dozens of maps which were built for LOS (line of sight) fire. You had to see your enemy to shoot it and objects in the way would block the shot. Now the devs throw in an indirect fire weapon that oh by the way does the most damage per shot in the entire game. then they throw in a massive splash radius. Who could have predicted this would be massively overpowered? Just anyone who thought about it is all. So to answer your question what needs to be done is:redesign if not all at least most of the maps, Redesign them with stuff that blocks lobbed shells but not LOS weapons for instance. But this is a mssive project that would consume far too many manhours so it will not be done. So we are stuck with this piece of shinola turret. All maps that give the high ground to one team are definitely unbalanced at least to a certain extent. "Occupy the high ground" is about the oldest maxim in combat.

Northerner is a good kit but it has nothing to do with is you do daily missions.Just use whatever you find fun. Good luck! :)

Well observed. Now if the Overdrive effect counter increased every time the other team used a Supply then you would have the dampening effect you mention. (To cite just one mechanism.) -
I was not talking about you but about the entire group of Rico players. I urn across many who never ever rotate the turret. To which i had thank God because the Rico players who do know how to play Tanki well are royal PsITA when you have to fight them! If you are using your turret you are approaching the game the right way.

Hmm. Well that is an angle I'd not thought of myself. Not sure that's how it'll work out but it is an interesting possibility. However I've heard a lot about this "matchmaking" system and it just seems like more Tanki vaporware. Like the m0 alterations which were supposed to just change colors. Or the m3 alterations which were to be so super kool they Could Not Be Spoken Of. In short I will believe the matchmaking system will one day exist only after it actually does exist. I assume Sandbox will be removeds from the basic cycle. Which reminds me... I saw a Gravity map in Basic play last night. Hmm. -
Dad, don't make me cite about seventeen far more serious problems! lol
-
I'll take it id Tanki gives it to me but right now it's already a beast. May it forever remain unpopular and thus un-nerfed. lol
-
What skill? Most Rico players have never learned to even turn their turret. Sill would be required if the player had to bounce his shots himself but the computer automatically sends the ammo out on the right path to bounce 4 times and go around 3 corners to hit the target.

I do not recall the details but I reckon you are probably right. :) Well of course you are right it is not certain Overdrive will stay. But that is my honest prediction. The devs seem to be lurching from concept to concept in a fevered attempt to make this game seem 'new' again to its player base. As for do I know how frustrating that is, the answer is "yes". :)
