ARe you an alternate account? HAve you PLAYED with twins m2 and m3? I like the way you look at stats, I do that a lot too. Somehow I get the impression that this is not your first account, because you show MUCH WISDOM. (simply because you recognized that twins is OP) :)

The point of view here largely depends on your own turret/hull. For example, rails tend to think smoky annoying because it knocks off their aim. Wasps think thunder is annoying because with DP they get one-shotted before they can even get close. For me (a hornet freeze user) I may be biased against certain turrets because they counter my playstyle, but here they are, in order. First of all, a disclaimer. Most of these reasons include drugs, as they are so common. IF a turret does not have drugs, I can easily kill it. The drugs are more annoying than any specific turret, except maybe on shaft, because I get one-shotted anyway. If you've been hit by a shaft, you've already lost, even if you survived. THe point is not to get hit. THE ANNOYING TURRETS: 1. Smoky. Drugger smoky's with medium-heavy hulls beat me up close as I run out of charge or get one-shotted by a crit. Smoky's on light hulls run away. That's the most annoying thing. AAARRGHH!!! THey run away from me like a bunch of cowards and keep hitting me. However, even if you do get close to them, they still beat you. Smoky has good DPM for a ranged gun, doesn't run out of charge, and turns okay. 2. Vulcan, especially on drugs or in larger maps. Annihilates you in seconds when you cross an open piece of ground, but the worst thing is the impact force. I can't drive straight or get away. And even if i do (maybe because of DA), a massive chunk of my health is gone. The ONLY reason I put this at number 2 and not no.1 is that if you do manage to get close to them with freeze, they are easy kills since they turn so slowly. 3. Hammer, especially on drugs. I HATE being one-shotted. IT's ridiculously OP on DD and the impact force will flip you if you are going up a ramp. THen you have to self-destruct and lose a kill. 4. Twins. Can't even fire straight when under fire from twins. Got to be the most OP gun on smaller maps. Does same amount of damage as freeze, more damage per minute, has much bigger range, has big knockback, and has better auto-aim/cone angle. The only thing freeze has going for it is that it can fire through multiple enemies. (I didn't mention freeze effect since that is practically worthless on turrets, especially fast-turning ones like twins. I hate how fast it spins. IT spins faster than vulcan, smoky, and hammer. Also, you can't drive or fire straight, and it can flip you over. The time it takes be to get close enough to a twins to start circling is double because of twin's knockback impacting your driving. I come up completely behind it and start freezing, it turns around in half a second. Freeze effect is more noticable on hulls, though. 5. Rico. Pretty much same as twins, except much bigger range. However, it has to recharge, unlike twins. If you catch it while it's recharging, dead rico :) . 6. Thunder. Same as hammer. There are people who have thunder m3 against me and drug DD's. The only fun thing against thunders, is if you manage to stealthily get close to them and they do self-damage, and thunder does not have as much knockback as hammer. 7. Shaft. ONLY IF THERE IS MORE THAN ONE OF THEM. A solitary shaft is easy to kill. A shaft in polygon i kinda feel bad for. But when you have 4 shafts waving their lasers around in your base, waiting for you to spawn, or when they are all covering the most popular route the the flag, or backing each other up, then it gets annoying as ****. Another annoying thing is that they rely on their team, and are terrible when their team is terrible as they don't have a secure spot to snipe from. THey are worthless defenders if you base is being overrun, but good ones against drugger medium and light hulls. However, its downright FUNNY when you get behind them with freeze lol.. THE NOT-SO ANNOYING TURRETS. (when you get killed by them, you don't rage or get frustrated. You're just like, "eh") 8. Firebird. I hate the ones that just come up to you and spin as fast as you circle them, even under freeze effect. Turns ridiculously fast, and everyone time i kill them, unless i get isida or a health box, i'm dead as well. (Or unless they're m0, in which case they don't know what burn effect means :) . ) 9. Railgun. Mainly the ones that drug DD's I think you can figure out why. Not that annoying, and i except them to be less annoying when update comes out. 10. Isida.. I don't like self-heal, and they have a big lock-on angle. 11. Freeze. This turret doesn't annoy me at all (not a coincidence). I can't circle them while frozen, and the freeze turret spins so fast it's pointless to even bother, so usually the tactic with freeze, if you can't get it from side or behind, is just to go right up in their faces, do lots of damage (preferably kill them), and hope they don't have an isida. If they do, you either fire through them at the isida, only fire at the isida, or get behind both where you can hit them at the same time. I am not posting freeze as the least OP or annoying just to complain or to say it needs a buff. I honestly don't mind enemy freezes, kill'em all the time lol. :)

The new viking is nice to play with. for all those who are being "switched" to the new viking, aka old hunter+different shape: It's not bad at all. THe main compaint you guys should have is that it doesn't fit your playstyle, since if you wanted a hunter you should have bought a hunter, not that "now viking is underpowered."

Freeze's range is WAAYYY to short. In Monte Carlo, no matter how good I am with freeze, I can never get close enough to hit someone before dying. So i propose to make freeze m4's range the same as ricochet m0: 72 meters. This will enable it to be competitive in maps like Monte Carlo. I hope the developers listen to this bit of common sense, most of the players here agree with me. ;)

Commander_Cupcakes 2 posts Profile Posted 15 Oct 2016 - 00:46 "Evening everyone. I'm a major fan of Wasp / Firebird. Been doing it since I started. Hardly really like anything else... I've had some fair experience w/ Twins, Isidia and Smoky (Wayyy back before the early rebalances and before all the new turrets were added.) Currently sitting w/ 75k Crystals. Waiting on the Halloween sale / crystals and then deciding what I want to get. As of now, I have Firebird M1 50/50 (M2) Wasp M1 (25/50 I believe?) Dont ask why I MU'd. I believe I did it when MU's came out and back then they were a bit different. A year later I log back in and it's all changed up... so I just finish up the M1 MU's to 50/50 and left the Wasp ones as they are now. Not sure what I should do now. I plan to stick with Firebird. Wasp isn't suitable for a lot of map modes and battle types, though - especially as I level up. I want a medium hull. Hunter, Dictator or Viking? Dictator is probably the least preferrable because of it's speed, but the new update is rebalancing some stuff? Don't know when that's happening. If anyone could update me about that as I'm fairly new to the forums / community here. So yeah I just need some opinions and advice. Thanks! (Also need a decent protection - Looking into kits but not sure which one. I've never bought crystals, I earn them all, so kits could take a while.)" Um...Viking will be the fastest, so if you're going to use a melee gun like firebird, I would go with viking unless you ONLY play island, noise, and polygon. In larger maps firebird with dictator will be annoying because there is too much ground to cover before you get enemies within your range. However, I would suggest just sticking to wasp, because after the update it will get a hp boost. And if you are a non-buyer, you should focus your crystals on one combination. And don't buy protections unless they are m3, m2 and below protections you barely notice the difference.. They are a waste of crystals until you have m4'd your primary turret/hull combo.

I'm currently at 120k crystals, what kit should i save up for?" Buy what you like. It's more enjoyable that way. You shouldn't feel you have to get a certain combo cause it's in a kit.

Yeah, this is a common problem. Just press the button that turns your turret in the direction it is already turning. This will free up the turret to turn the other way.

October 20th, they hope.

When you play a match against me, I already won because of the simple fact that I'M PLAYING. There is no use in trying. Get that into your head: I_Already_Won is in the battle!!! AHHH!!! :)

Would be fun in sandbox since you can shoot onto the middle from the lower sides.

Me and a bunch of noobs vs a bunch of noobs. Oh I forgot..that's what I always play anyway... ;)

They should keep the stats of the new update, like 10% self-healing, except make it lock on to you within 20 meters, so if you back away out of 20 meters, the beam will still do damage until 30 meters, but they can't START firing at you unless they are within 20 meters. I think this would make the new isida balanced.

Is it multing to use XP in free format battles?
r_I_already_won0 replied to X_Death.By.Me_X in Archive
I don't even see the point of this discussion.. Is using rail multing? Obviously NOT. IS rail the most effective turret in Polygon? Obviously NOT. What is there to talk about? -
What makes you Mad in Tanki? Things you hate/like in the game?
r_I_already_won0 replied to Ditzy-Dip in Archive
Top 5 things I hate in Tanki, in order of importance: 1. Druggers 2. DRuggers 3. Druggers 4. Druggers 5. Druggers Did I mention Druggers? Oh, and i forgot about druggers. (P.S.: Remind me to tell you tomorrow about how I hate druggers.) P.P.S. New Season coming up...DRUGGERS!!! -
Tanki MUST rethink Ricochet's upcoming game balance!
r_I_already_won0 replied to Datguy29 in Archive
true, but i still think you need to exchange some damage for that. -
As I said before, a Mammoth-Freeze format would be good for esports.
-
Usually they split them up by day. For example October 30 is 50% of micro-upgrades, speedups and x2 battle funds, october 31 is 40% off turrets and paints, and november 1st is 40% off hulls and modules.

This rebalance will make it more popular, i hope...

This idea will make isida a little more powerful to compensate for the nerf to 10% self-healing, but not as powerful as it is now (50%) self-healing. Isida's max range after the update will be around 20 meters, i suggest keeping that, but if an isida starts firing at you within twenty meters, the beam will follow you up to 30 meters out, and then will dissapate. So if i am 25 meters from an isida and he starts firing, nothing will happen. However, if i am 15 meters away and he starts firing, and then I back away out of 20 meters, than the beam will still stay doing damage. As it is now, as soon as I get further than 20 meters, the isida stops firing automatically. Just to clarify: 30 meters is firebird's max range at m4 plus the length of Viking, so this feature won't be that OP like 50% self-heal, but more balanced. It would make the broadband alteration make more sense. I think it is a nice idea that ties in with isida's gameplay, and could be interesting to see in battle.

Tanki MUST rethink Ricochet's upcoming game balance!
r_I_already_won0 replied to Datguy29 in Archive
Totally agree, you have no time to get behind cover. WHICH IS WHY IT"S GETTING AN (much needed ) IMPACT FORCE NERF lol :) -
There have been lots of other threads on this problem. I sure hope their working on it. I for one was able to get into garage later on the day.

Tanki MUST rethink Ricochet's upcoming game balance!
r_I_already_won0 replied to Datguy29 in Archive
Well I mean that IS the defining feature of rico which ties in with the bouncing...I would keep the impact force the same but lower the damage. ANd twins has the exact same issue of suppressing fire against light tanks. -
Yes. New viking feels like pancake hornet with more armor and stability lol.
