Once upon a time on an alt I got a five man Vulcan kill feed. It was glorious. It was an M0 too which made it even more awesome!

I find that Hunter works as a great mid fielder, and if you stick a powerful turret on it, it becomes great at enemy suppression. The ability to actually rock your hull in a medium tank is very appealing to me, and for 2 reasons. It makes hitting targets on low elevations much easier, and it also gives it a much better maneuverability than Viking, which feels somewhat slowly and dim witted when it turns, where as Hunter feels much lighter and nimbler when it turns.

I seriously doubt that Railgun's penetrating power will be removed, or else Tanki will have the biggest riot in the history of MMO games. The issue with doing something so radical is that it would make Tanki lose thousands of paying customers (Everyone say hi to the massive clan community) and they would have thousands upon thousands of player demanding their money back, filing lawsuits, etc, and all because, as you said, Railgun is the only turret that has remained relatively untouched through out the years. Not to mention that almost everyone these days has an M3 Railgun or at least M2... At your rank anyways.

Facing the hard truth : Coping with Mults, Sabotage and Cheaters
GunslingerMongoose replied to r_Damn_Slow0 in Archive
They seem to be drawn to Sandbox likes flies to a corpse. Of course, if I catch one in a Sandbox CTF that I make, and I see it happening, I beat them up so hard that they rage quit because they're pathetic at the game and hate the fact that someone without hacks is kicking their ass. -
Patch Update #441 - Changes to Isida, Hammer and Shaft, and other changes
GunslingerMongoose replied to theFiringHand in News Archive
When I logged in to check my Shaft's stats, and then I clicked my M0 Hammer I was shocked to see that the damage was 1862! B U T that's the damage per magazine and not the actual damage per shot. Tanki, please, display the damage like normal instead of laying it out like it's the magazine alpha damage on an Autoloader in World of Tanks. Fml. Also, you guys said that Shaft at its modification level should be able to oneshot any medium hulls at the same modification. If that's so, why does my M1 Shaft only do 1600 damage when an M1 Viking (Weakest armored M1 Med hull) has 1650? Also, on a side note, the autoaim for the pellets that ricochet when you fire Hammer at a wall sucks. It rarely targets an enemy tank. You have to actually AIM in the direction of the target. On a second side note, the ricochet effect has someone noticeable applications for new forms of parkour, including OMP barrel rolls while on your side, and ricocheting shots into people above you to make epic flips and rolls. I expect F&F (Fight and Flight) will be all over this. -
The PL-01 isn't a concept though now... It's a production scout tank.... Unmanned turret, fully automated firing system... The stuff dreams are made of.

Category Ideas for Game Modes!

Basically King of the Hill. Me likey. -
Hey, I can dream ;) As for the Striker one, I wouldn't really call it a major game changer. All it's really designed to do is to make it slightly more useful on large, crowded town maps like Dusseldorf and the like.

Crap you're right about the Twins one. Sorry about that. I fix it. Also, for the Isida one, because of the fact that Isida does more attacking damage than Healing, I figured it would be a good idea. I also forgot about the update completely removing Isida's self heal, so I'll fix that too. Thanks!

I think it may be as easy as copying codes but then again, XTs are modified with different textures so you would have to figure that they have slightly different codes.

Yay! Alteration set time! Sorry if they seem rushed. Smoky: Composite Ammo (Decreases reload and increases range at the cost of damage {Critical is unaffected}. Good for those who need quick, long range damage.) Reload: -30% Range: +75% Damage: -20% Thunder: High Density Warheads (Significantly increases damage and impact force, and increases reload. Good for short range encounters on small maps such as Polygon. {Pair it with the alteration "Armor Piercing Ammo' for maximum effectiveness}) Damage: +50% Impact Force: +75% Reload: +50% Twins: Rapid Charge Plasma Cores (Significantly decreases reload between shots at the price of decreased range, damage, and impact force. Good for medium to short range encounters. {Beware splash damage}) Reload: -75% Range: -30% Damage: -50% Impact Force: -50% Ricochet: Extreme Bounce (Decreases reload between shots and also increases projectile speed and range while also increasing number of bounces per shot at the cost of damage and impact force. Good only for those with skill with Ricochet) Reload: -75% Projectile Speed: +100% Range: +25% Damage: -30% Impact Force: -30% Number of bounces per shot doubled. Railgun: Ballistic Capped Ammo (Significantly increases damage, impact force, and reload. Good as an alternative to the "High Caliber Ammo" alteration.) Damage: +50% Impact Force: +50% Reload: +50% Vulcan: Incendiary Tracers (Gives Vulcan ammunition a minor increase in damage while at the same time causing targets to rapidly heat due to explosive nature of ammunition. Good for those who want a long range, low damage Firebird) Adds heating effect to Vulcan ammo. See stats below for effects. Heating Rate: +0.5 Burn Damage (Max Temp): 20% base damage over 10 seconds. Hammer: Triple Slugs (Each Hammer shot will fire 3 slugs with a decreased spread. Increases damage and impact force but decreases range and increases reload. Good for Hammer users who want something different) Pellet spread is converted to slug ammo. Vertical Spread: -30% Horizontal Spread: -30% Damage: +20% Impact Force: +50% Range: -40% Reload: +25% Isida: Low Frequency Broadband (Significantly increases ally healing rate at the cost of an increased energy consumption rate. Good for those who are true medics who only live to Heal and Protect) Ally Healing Rate: +200% Energy Consumption: +50% Firebird: Gelled Fuel (Minorly increases all stats at the cost of a slightly increased fuel consumption rate and slightly longer reload. Good for those who want a more versatile Firebird) Damage: +15% Range: +15% Cone Angle: +10% Heating Rate: +15% Fuel Consumption: +20% Reload: +20% Freeze: Minimized Pump System (Decreases energy consumption rate at the cost of a significantly decreased reload and a minor damage decrease.) Energy Consumption: -50% Reload: +100% Damage: -30% Striker: Heat Seeking Rockets (Increases angular velocity of rockets to increase the ability of the rockets to track down a target and destroy it.) Angular Velocity: +100% I hope you guys like this set. These would mainly be M2 alterations.

I think what it is is that coding one alteration takes time. Since Firebird has 2 alterations, it would take around a month to code the alterations in for XTs. The same can be said for Railgun, Thunder, and Vulcan. Assuming each one takes about 2 weeks (Half a month), Railgun would take around a month and a half, Vulcan a mere 2 weeks (It only has one alt after all) and Thunder would take about month. Altogether, they don't have the man power to do that much coding and they're still working on the Artillery turret and figuring out how to reduce lags.

My facts are straight. I got the information from one of the moderators. Now, I don't know about you, but it just seems like you're trying to start a flame war. So, as of now, every single post you make on any thread that I've posted on is going to be reported to the moderators.

pay garden is a thief and shouldn't be a payment option
GunslingerMongoose replied to jdc20181 in Archive
Here's the thing. If you're upset about losing X amount of dollars because you purchased a gift card that was too big, simply buy a different kit or crystal pack or purchase a smaller gift card with the amount that the kit is. It's a fairly simple fix. Also, I believe the reason PayGarden does this is to prevent people from using the card, reloading it, and then spending it on their service a second or even third time, which means it can prevent people from defrauding others with a gift card that's are ready been used, etc, etc. -

I don't know, perhaps the current XTs still aren't popular enough and Tanki IS NOT in fact making money off them because at Legend they can be received for free because of super missions. -
I don't understand why you can't just accept whatever the devs, Cedric, or other players tell you. Look, by modifying the game's texture files, you're violating the EULA, and are also putting your computer at an enormous risk, because the main program used to change Tanki's textures has been known to download malware of all kinds onto your computer without you knowing. Not only that, but it also harms the game's stability, and it can cause other people's games to crash because of the amount of resources being used on your computer to change everyone's texture's to XTs. Also, if you want XTs, JUST BUY THEM. You're at the rank where you can. Just try hard and save hard, and when you get a super mission for an XT or have 500k just do it. You need to stop acting like everyone but you is wrong... It annoys everyone immensely.... scrub....

category Ideas for Supplies and Drones!
GunslingerMongoose replied to Ilia.ArchangeI in Ideas and Suggestions
How about this one: Incendiary Mines This mine will be a remote detonated mine, OR have a proximity detonation like standard mines. It depends on which detonation tactic is used first. What the mine will do is explode in a radius of about 5 meters (The length of Hornet for those who are unfamiliar with distances in Tanki), and then INSTANTLY super heat any enemy tanks to the maximum temperature possible of an M4 Firebird. It will deal NO INITIAL DAMAGE, meaning the mine relies on the super heating effect to kill enemies. The super heating can be reversed by allied Isidas and Freezes, and can be reversed via a repair kit. Each mine will have a 1 minute cool down, and will cost 100 crystals each. The cooldown of these mines will be linked to standard mines, meaning if you drop an incendiary mine, you will also start the cooldown for the standard mines. I think this would be a cool idea, and it wouldn't be too OP either. Let me know what you think.- 2,759 replies

Wasp M2 actually has more armor than M2 Hornet (Which makes zero sense) and it's also faster by a little bit.
-
I think what it was was the devs said "Hunter is popular and versatile. Many people use it over Viking. What we'll do is make Hunter slower, but give it heavier armor and better acceleration, and we'll make Viking faster and give it slower acceleration and to balance this, we'll give it lighter armor." I'm certain it wasn't in so many words but that's the general idea.
-
Things that may cause it are: The name is considered inappropriate in Tanki's filters. It is already in use on a developer or tester account. Aside from these 2, I can't think of why else you wouldn't be able to use the name.

No, I know, I was just poking fun.
