Well if they want new players to join the game and stay it is dumb. Not a chance I start a new account now as it woud rank up too fast compared to crystals earned. If I, with experience won't start a new account, why would a fresh player keep playing after ranking up some and not have the ability to compete? They will quit by WO5. Start seeing is the key. You still play a lot of battles with your peers at General. It's not always General vs Legend. The rank-splits have just been messed up because of the experience boost. Half the mid-account players have parked their tanks.

Thing is ... pretty soon at low-mid ranks the only ones playing will be buyers. How long are they gonna continue to buy when they get no advantage?

It's garbage for any one ranked below Commander. Players will rank up too fast and not have the crystals to buy upgrades to compete properly. A really, really dumb decision. ? ? ?

What a stupid decision. Looks like I'll only be playing this account - and the time I spent on my other account will be used elsewhere. The Devs truly are not very bright. Why would any new player stay in the game?

? Guess my alternate account is going into storage. And that's the one I played the most. Fewer and fewer hours spent in this game as it deteriorates.

You may have dropped some by accident and did not notice. I have done that. Half the time I need to re-map my gold-drop key so it is not 6.

I have a few - but no immunities. I'd trade all my animated paints for a hull augment-immunity (for a hull I actually use of course)

Because you use it - more than 2x as much as any of your other hulls. LOL - of course it is. So mammoth OD needed a nerf solely because of the side-show of meteorites? A minor part of the game? Why on earth would the hull need a buff? Excluding ODs it's perfectly fine. I have two accounts and chose hornet as my light hull for both - certainly not because I thought it was weak.

Viking... Titan Dome. Dictator with RK, DA (+defender), module and OD handy might also survive - especially if it's less than 7 seconds. I've killeds viking before they used up their 7 seconds. You don't get that opportunity vs one-shot kills like hornet. Mammoth... Hunter, Wasp Bomb, Hornet OD, Viking OD ... basically anything that can kill the mammoth before it gets in range. Unlike Hornet the mammoth has to close the distance.

No. It's because there is absolutely no way to mitigate (counter) the one-shot kills I will suffer. All the other hull ODs have a counter. Hornet OD - there is no counter. ("Killing" the hornet does not rate as a counter since you can't kill the hornet that just one-shot you). And they have OD way more often than they should - since it lasts 20 seconds and they can generate a new OD while their current OD is active. Killing tanks is one of the best ways to generate OD - and hornet OD excels at that.

So another P2W feature? Between augments and modules and drones there's already too many things for F2P tankers to buy. Add another layer (upgrading ODs) and the power gap widens even more. Free players might as well quit the game at that point. Plus - with wide-rank brackets lower ranked players will be at an even larger disadvantage than they are now. ?

Unfortunately not quite true... summer technically ends mid-September. But I do hope today IS the last day of this dumb "experiment".

Is max health of the dome 4000 x5 = 20,000? Wonder how long it takes a Viking Rail + DD to bring down the dome... Would be interesting to see how long it takes ~ 3 enemies with DD activated to destroy the dome.

Just left a battle where it was 8 active tanks vs 2 active tanks. Should come as no surprise the 8 tanks capped in first 30 seconds. It should also come as no surprise I exited battle shortly after that. MatchMaker is complete trash. AND... too many mults. Legends with GS = 4000. Not even worth playing anymore.

Hornet results... what a shocker ... ?

Maybe it's hardware? HTML no longer makes me dizzy (it used to at first). Is it as good as Flash was? No. But I find it playable and I don't have a high-end rig or monitor. But HTML certainly has way, way less errors than Flash. 4-5 months ago it got to the point I could not finish even 2 battles in a row without a critical error of some sort. So stability alone made me switch and I can compete fine, all things being equal (which in MM is often not the case).

I had similar issues when HTML first came out. Either the upgrades have minimized that or I got used to it. Might be a bit of both. Guess you have to give it more time to adjust yourself, or - quit and find something else.

More players is better. But if you refuse to play HTML and plan on quitting later anyway - then - I don't care.
