Just NO - it already has a ridiculous fire rate - Thunder and Magnum and Rail are way OP when used with Viking OD. You said it does not need a buff - BUT - this is a buff. So NO - not needed - at all. The only way this should considered is if the ridiculous 1-second activation delay is removed. -
There's a difference between "Challenging" and having a great many players not even bothering to participate because the requirements are not possible for players that have a life outside the game. Challenges can be for no-lifers - all those tiers. WAR was originally for everyone. Not anymore. TO has doubled-down on activity for no-lifers. That is a shame. That being said, my response was to your claim that 7k kills is "not so much". I happen to disagree.

Well what specifically were you doing/not-doing?

I compared both without DD (since a DA would cancel anyway). Hammer m4 does > 1000 dmg per shot. Light hulls have 2000 health. 1 double-shot from duplet will kill a light hull before it can react.

Hey! You sound ridiculous when you say 7k kills is not so much. :rolleyes: For no-lifers? Maybe true. For everyone else? Not so much. You expect everyone to just play DM? Or ignore the actual mode of other battles and play TDM - even when it's CTF or CP?

Something seems off... there's almost no spin-up before bullets fly, yet it looks like it's doing regular damage. How is that possible? Most unbelievable part though is the spawn-points. Luckiest tanker - ever! :o I always spawn with two enemies at my back - not alone in a corner.

And forces you use up a 2nd module slot... Damage over time is more similar than you might think. They swap times where more damage is done vs the other. At 2 seconds Auto does 1120 vs stock at 1070 But at 3 seconds stock does 1605 dmg vs Auto at 1280. At 4.5 seconds both can kill a light hull (m4). And so on...

You might want to re-visit math class. $1.49 USD gives you 150 tankoins. 1 container costs 150 tankoins. So... 1 container costs $1.49 USD. For economies of scale 25 containers costs 3200 tankoins or 1700x2 tankoins for $28 USD. You skip a decimal or something?

I don't get the "Hunter acts as the Duplet for Striker"... It does not allow 1-shot-kills like Duplet does. In fact it's the opposite of duplet - no salvo, just 1 missile per shot... takes at least 3 shots to kill a light hull while duplet does that with 1.

Was at full health The Striker alteration "hunter" is a downgrade - unlike say... RFM for Shaft.

People were all giddy about the new "stuff" like alterations and Overdrives. The shine has worn off and it is really, really boring now. The new "stuff" has quite ruined the game. -
Does Viking OD work with Shaft RFM as is? Or revert it to stock? An RFM viking that activated OD + DD killed my Titan (with DA) INSIDE THE DOME in about 3 or 4 seconds.... And compare that to an alteration like Hunter for Striker. It loses salvo entirely - and gets... ... ... 1 guided missile. Bought that alt when it came out. Was so underwhelming I have not used it since the 2nd week I bought it.

Were you attacking base 7 or 8 times by yourself? If you know Hunters are there you need to send in a "first wave" A Hornet Rail with DD can one-shot any medium hull - isn't Hunter a medium hull? Wasp running in first and dropping a bomb... Hunter disables bomb or dies. Sounds like the issue is not Hunter, but the battle mode. It is dumb that destroying carrier sends flag back immediately. Does not happen with CTF... so why does it happen with Assault? If you were a light hull carrying flag, and Hornet Rail with DD shot you - how is that any different from what Hunter does? Actually - there's a HUGE difference - Hornet can do this from more than 22m away - correct?

That's not a sustainable strategy. Sure for the first bunch of ranks players have not learned all the skills. But by Marshal, if you have not learned how to turn your turret as second-nature you will do progressively worse. -
So for playing for 1 year I get a bonus of 6 containers (3 boxes cost 450, x2 ) In 2 years I could buy a rename pass - oh my :mellow:

So basically all battles suck - cuz whether or not I'm on the winning team or the losing team, unbalanced battles are not fun. Way to go Tanki - your product is brutal no matter which side of the street you are on...

Did you post the wrong screen-shot? Don't see any with 20+ deaths... Both teams have similar "deaths" and red has player with most deaths.

Garage takes f-o-r-e-v-e-r to load and I often get just a black screen when loading into a battle. Waaaaay more bugs than before...

I see any more posts from anyone about how Hornet or wasp ODs need a buff I will want to slap them. Hard. They are everywhere in all battles. Getting kills left and right regularly during most battles. And no - even at Legend ranks the bomb cant be outrun unless you are a light hull. Medium hulls need a SB and need to be already moving. Even Titans with SB don't have much of a chance to escape the blast radius.

Had many "discussions" with Little Willie about this when MM first came out. It was never faster or simpler than the battle list. LW kept defending MM, but had no concrete platform to stand on. The evidence showed the defense to be a sand-castle at high-tide.
