    Lots of Rail in legend ranks so they must be somewhat effective. Most have more than one option and they still choose rail.
  2. Positive incentives can be good sure. But those playing with "friends" will probably benefit from this far more from those who do not. If there's no tangible reward that benefits some-one in-battle then I suppose it won't matter so much. I hope not. Friends would help each other becuase... friends.
  3. Are you nuts? The bomb kills multiple hulls every battle. You only have a chance to escape if you are already moving and have a speed boost or are close to outer perimeter. Other plan is to... have Hunter save the OD just in case a wasp drops one? Wasp OD is more than "good".

    5 might be a bit much. And certainly shouldn't be 5x50. More like 5x35. 4 would be a good compromise. 4x40% but have the option at 3x50% as well. And if you pick the 4-option, the % is reduced by 5 so that you need 45% on each to get 4x40%.

  7. Playing in a CP battle with Hunter and zapped a Viking Twins and stunned him. But was not able to kill him (Module I think) before stun wore off. Immediately the twins turned on OD and killed me in < 3 seconds. Um hello! Isn't Hunter OD supposed to re-set other tanks OD to 0?

    I'm curious - how did you get Thunder m3, Falcon m3 and Hornet m3 at Lt. General. Don't see any kits with those specific items...

    It won't seem as powerful over time as more and more protection modules get circulated. The turret (and module) was released after the sale - so - it's only natural for early adopters to fork out full price for the turret and have an advantage over the defenders who will likely wait for a sale before dropping a wack of crystals on the module.

  14. What do you mean by Hornet ignoring mines? Hornet helps you ignore defenses when shooting at a target. How are mines affected?

    It was horrible. Played some battles, but many it was like slow motion or driving underwater. Have no idea if Gauss improvements made it worthwhile as every time I held down space-bar for sniping I never saw the end result.

    +1 for Trooper drone. Works very well in DMs - allows you to survive those critical seconds after you re-spawn. Even if you don't make a kill during this time it allows you to get to safer position to start your killing spree.

    "Striker tool"? You mean the sniper lock-on feature? Gauss does not do as much damage as striker salvo because it has no laser. can't do that much damage without implementing some kind of vulnerability.

    Just because you've managed this every now and then does not mean it is a good system. This would be the exception, not the rule. No one expects to win all the time - that would be silly. But players should expect to have close to an even chance when they start a battle. Having a rank spread of 6, or 7, or even 8 is not an "even chance". Would you start a checkers game down 3 pieces by default? Why should players put up with that equivalent in MM? Makes no sense.

    what do you mean by this? Are you referring to... Reload? Projectile speed?
  22. I'm 99.99% sure they are not randomized as one large group. I think they are divided into 2-4 blocks of maps. Those blocks are rotated in/out and we get maps from the current block. This would explain... - me getting same map 2-4 times in same day, repeated over a period of say... a week. And it's not just 1 map doing this. - me not seeing some maps for 3-4 weeks - at all. Alexandrovich and Kunger and Serpuhov come up waaaay less than Bobrusik or Brest or Parma or Sandal
  23. Mammoth won't be capping as many flags in CTF - that extra 5 seconds makes a significant difference when you are trying to get away with the flag.
  24. Did you miss the part about cutting duration in half? Only lasts 5 seconds now. 1.5 is not really = 2. Think I'd prefer to have the 10 second duration. Will have to see how it performs. Guess melee turrets won't be getting so close to my Vulcan so often...
  25. Yeah stadium is like a smaller version of highways. Gauss might actually work in this map... seen it... once I think. And... have not been placed in Chernobyl once yet. Weird...
