Then you are using it wrong... ;) (get enough kills and your recharge gets a huge boost) Is this the account that bought a kit? What turret are you using with the Hunter?
-
A 2nd Lt. needs more than 1 module to be able to compete. You should have bought a thunder module during 50% sale... And use some DAs...
-
Welcome to the Club. My alt bought the Vulcan spin-up alteration after they nerfed the turret. Total waste of crystals. I spent less than you - but - my account was much lower - so crystals/rank was probably comparable.
-
I was asking because there is/was a 50% sale. So... who spends 200k when they can spend 100k?
-
Certainly does not always work out - not sure if it was designed with "chasing" in mind. But it can be a nasty surprise from time to time. Plus works more often on smaller-type maps or when you have lots of cover and they don't see you until last second. Somewhat akin to a crocodile - they don't look fast - but over short distance they can really move and ambush.
-
Alterations - click on a turret or hull in your garage.
-
No. "catch many enemies off guard - they don't realize how fast a Mammoth + OD + SB really is." It's not like I'm implying they close 70m to make the kill...
-
The alteration costs 400k crystals? :o
-
You need to have a SB handy to go with your OD. They stack. That's how the mammoth caught my Titan, even though my Titan should be faster. I'm using it at Brigadier - catch many enemies off guard - they don't realize how fast a Mammoth + OD + SB really is.

They should remove the bonus SB OR remove the killing field and make it a bit longer duration. -
This was what was announced as original design... I was surprised when it got the opposite when released. They outrun my Titan 18/20 with activated SB.
-
That's odd - I still see plenty of Titans - even in DM.
-
Hunter is decent until you get to final upgrade and have a lower lock-on time for salvo though I do find it somewhat under-powered. But I really miss having the option to get off a salvo when a fatty is out in the open...

Why wouldn't it? In team battle you don't even need to leave the comfort of your base. One of the balancing factors with Hornet was that it has low health - balancing the OP attack nature when combined with DD. But as a camping magnum that low health rarely comes into play. I have always thought the mortar alt was OP. Hit and do decent damage. Miss and do some damage, then even more damage when they drive over one of the 3 mines you can lay before they disappear. Having that alt in No-Supply battles is even more ridiculous.
-
Since MFS does not really make Ricco a long-range alternative, how is it OP? VS heavy hulls and good protections it actually runs dry...

Why you should accept the fact that this game is dead and move on

Either way, it's from the shop and gives a big advantage for that rank. My point still stands - most players can't get an m4 by marshal unless... they spend real dollars. Very few F2P tankers have the funds to buy a kit at Lt.General then MU both major components to m4 by Marshal. If miraculously that somehow happened - they'd have nothing else. 1 m4 combo (and maybe some m2s) - that anyone with multiple modules can easily nullify. M3->m4 = 13%. Stock m3 module = 35%. Going to m4 with no other options effectively makes you lose 22% on your attack. -
Don't forget the Isida to help the Mammoth get there without use of OD. You save that for when you are close to flag and can then brush aside the defenders.
-
Why do they need a chance to react? What chance do I get to react to Viking OD when a Rail hits me from across the map with many shots in close succession. RK? waste of RK. Same with Hornet + high damage turret... Their "chance to react" is to keep distance. Or kill the Hunter before it's in range.

College exams finished end of April. High school exams have not started yet. Does not explain low numbers for May...
-
OP? :o Speaking of "logic"... what is the logic behind the 1-second delay on activation for Hunter OD?

Well the discussion was going from m3 to m4 by Marshall. But you needed to buy in order to do that - which proves my point. And $57 is more than a small investment. I call players buying battle pass small buyers. -
Duplet not really nerfed. On a hornet it can still kill a heavy hull in < 1 second.
-
Nah - I agree with Tide. Mammoth is OP - I have it on my alt account. That OD is waaaay better than Hunter - which I have on same account. The 1 second delay and being blocked by even small objects makes Hunter OD weak. probably a 25% failure rate when trying to use. Viking may not be 1 min for recharge but it is a LOT faster than 4 minutes because the kills boost it - and that's what Viking OD is designed for - making kills.
-
So Hunter's OD should also work through objects? Like, why do those little walls in Sandal prevent me from zapping targets? Was a poor design - should be a pulse that radiates out from the Hunter like a ripple on water. Anything in range should be affected. And we should see that ripple effect so we can actually tell what the range is.

A shop kit? with real $$? Of course a buyer can get M4s the moment m3s are unlocked. That was not the discussion.
