I would say that sniper is for single targets only. Waiting for groups... lowers DPM drastically. Unlike arcade or Thunder, which just fire when reload is done.

My Vulcan is at m2.9 and I think the mammoth is now m2.8 Have about 10 protections at 31% each, so I'm covered pretty well. Also helps if an isida accompanies you on the way there.

Mammoth is awesome in CTF. It can defend the flag very well or... depending on the map... cap flags too. My Brigadier account was using Mammoth-Vulcan on desert and capping flags. Image what it can do on sandbox or sandal... And yeah, Hornet-Thunders or hornet fire/freeze can do well in DMs at Legend-level as all the enemies have 40%+ protections and most likely DA as well...

Wasp is broken. They made a huge mistake when they made it immune to it's own bomb. Played a CTF battle where enemy had 5 or 6 wasps - many freeze or fire. Once they drop the bomb at the minimum they take an enemy with them if killed, Most times they slowed enemy enough to trap them near bomb and ran away. It's pretty silly. -
They have nothing else to do. It's pretty much their lives... sad...

You don't need 6 hulls. Would you like to have 6 hulls? sure. But you can play with much less than 6 - and compete.

Well, being able to use cover while 1-shotting medium hulls is asking for too much. Players need some chance... Most Shafts I play against know how to hide the laser - have been killed many times without warning as it is.

Come back and say then when your targets have the module and cut damage dealt in half... (it's actually a weak turret - can't one-shot a light hull in sniper mode, and turret rotation combined with mediocre arcade damage means it's not great up close either)

Smoky m1-10/10 and Viking m1 8/10... by WO1? You investing $$? If you are MU-ing shaft to M3, and I assume you will continue with smoky up past m3, not sure why you might target multiple m3 kits... You won't have the crystals, unless you "buy" or forgo all the modules. I don't recommend having > 2 combos at the expense of protection.

I'm never that fortunate in DM. For me it's usually... spawn with an enemy right behind you. It's especially wonderful when it's same enemy that just killed you 5 seconds ago. (Too many tanks in DM overall - cut it down to 12 tanks max)

Well, it's only 1 second (unlike Hunter) and a module could cut that to 0.5 seconds. It's no cryo (which make you completely helpless for 2-3 seconds) I mean... it's not like it's doing a 1-shot-kill - which is basically the worst thing you can suffer. The 1-second stun wears off before an arcade shot can be loaded. Just an alternative to 1) Splash damage and 2) increased damage

A Rail with high-caliber rounds on a Hornet can 1-shot a medium hull with DD. Shaft could one-shot a heavy hull. It is not a UP OD. And... for how long did you figure this invisibility should last?

Why not? We already had 3 turrets with Splash (not counting alterations) and they added another. Which turret currently has "stun"?

It's more than "half-decent" - you can only use 1 combo at a time. ;) Has taken me 3.75 years to accumulate... 3xm3 - 18/20 turrets 1xm3 15/20 turret 3xm3 - 18/20 hulls 1xm3 15/20 hull 10xm3 @ 47% modules 3 x m3 @ 46% modules 2 drones.

laser should be reserved for turrets that can one-shot a medium hull sans DD or one-shot a heavy hull with DD. Supplies make a huge difference. A Thunder on DD can 2-shot a medium hull within 2.4 seconds. A Rail with High-caliber rounds can one-shot a medium hull with DD - no laser. (and less wait-time when aiming). Don't think I'd like adding better splash for Gauss - it's encroaching on Thunders specialty. There was enough splash in the game before they added gauss - did not think adding more was necessary. They could have upped the impact instead. Or added something like a brief (1 second) stunning effect (to the sniper shot). Actually - I think the turret would be very interesting if they removed splash entirely and added this very short stunning effect. Nothing like freeze or cryo - just makes the tank pause for 1 second... perhaps an alt B)

Quality of the game should not be based on how well Gold goes in a battle. At best that's a secondary side-show of the game...

Yeah - it's counter-productive if MM waits for 8x8. battle should start at 4x4 and keep adding players as they are available. = Less wait time. And do you really need 8x8 tanks to start a battle on Sandbox?

If you can swing it, 2 combos are the best option - especially if one has shorter-range turret and the other has mid-long range turret. Since maps are random, you don't want to end up on massacre with something like freeze as your only option. MU your favorite to next m-level, and either MU another combo, or save for next m-level kit as you MU a current combo.
