  1. Why do you assume I have not already watched it? <_<
  2. Which is dumb - since not all Vulcan's have an isida glued to them. How many Isidas are healing the Vulcan in DM? And Titan OD is supposed to do that. That's a benefit of using the OD. Kind of like a Duplet with DD can kill a Hunter even as it activates it's own OD. How about Mammoths on smaller maps making easy caps in Assault - unstoppable with OD. It's not the turrets that is the issue - it's OverDrives and alterations in general. Overall - it's a cheap and lazy fix by the Devs that punishes many vulcan users. Devs actually ruined Vulcan when they added the ridiculous increase to spin-up time. Was not needed. At ALL.

    War of Super Powers

The Challenges and the War Games have been designed for no-lifers. The casual players have basically been shut out of these special events.

A bit of feedback from an older player

There were always buyers. They were the ones running around with smoky m2 at Sergeant or Predator kit at Sergeant Major. Non-buyers have always (and still do) outweigh the buyers. I don't consider a player that spent $20 once a buyer... With containers, weekly missions and many free supplies - the "need to buy" is no greater than before. Sure you can consider things like drones - but they are mostly for more hard-core buyers who have ranked up some.

    Gear Score

Just because YOU like it does not make it a useful stat. Tells you someone has a high number - so what... It's a combination of many factors - not knowing any of those individually is of very little help.
  6. I did? Don't recall... In any event - I don't care if they change - I just don't want to enable them...

    New support drone idea: Medic

Interesting idea but - Pricing things very high just gives buyers more advantages...

If only buyers could MU - how was that balanced?

    Let's Discuss Hornet!

You call ignoring ALL protections "zero offensive" bonus? :o Versus target with DA amd 50% module, it's like multiplying your damage 4x.
  10. Not sure I like it... Campers will just be a lot more powerful. They don't really need as much protection as players who move out of the base for mid-field or even trying to cap. So they can more easily forgo the module protection in order to get more one-shot kills. If you ever look at campers supply usage, I'd bet their RK and DA usage is overshadowed by DD usage by a large margin. Mostly because they are not in danger as often. So it's an easy trade-off for them.

Tweaks to Overdrives, Turrets, and Drones

Been saying this for a while. Very frustrating to use Hunter's OD. 25% (or more) of the attempts to use it fail because I'm killed that quickly. It already has some significant restrictions (can be blocked by obejects, must be on same plane, must be quite close to target)

    Let's Discuss Missions!

There was never a finish 1st place 15 times weekly mission. So your comparison to previous single-finish is apples to oranges. Finish top-3 x 15 on winner takes an average of 60 battles, and there is no slow accumulation - it is totally dependent on the team you are randomly placed on. Mods assume the losing team does not try, which is just stupid. So if ALL players are trying, you are competing against enemy and your own team = opposite of "not difficult". "Mods explained...." LOL. They have an explanation for everything - even though the explanations don't make any sense. Remember the Viking & Hunter stats switch? Do you remember the explanation for that? The Mods "explanations" are weak at best.

    Let's Discuss Augments

There is a trade-off. (unlike some alts - which just make the turret better outright) harder for MFS to make kills on heavies with protection. But better for hitting faster, less-armored targets.

Episode 211 of the V-LOG is live!

Well 35% x 4 would be an actual nerf - so yes they'd have a right to be unhappy. Should be 40% x 4 or (40% x 2) + (35% x 2) or something close to that. The 50% x 3 should still be available as well. 4 total slots. Just use 3? 50 x3. Equip a 4th and you get a combo from above. AND... to throw a twist in... as soon as you equip 4 modules, each loses 5%. So to get 40/40/40/40 you'd really have to have 45/45/45/45... that way players who have upgraded beyond 40% still have advantage over those who have not.

    Ideas for Supplies and Drones!

I'm not following your reasoning here... Mammoth OD lasts 10 seconds and bomb goes off in 3... so... no damage. And the Hunter better hope the Mammoth with it's speed boost can't close the distance faster than the silly OD delay... else fried Hunter.

Episode 211 of the V-LOG is live!

I like the flexible system. But they can't keep it restricted to three modules if they want to keep adding new turrets. At one point it was 1-in-3 protected against. Now it's 1-in-4 (inlcuding mines). Old protection system would not have been any better - it would have been watered down as well. And did not cover all the bases. You could not for instance - get good Firebird/Freeze/Twins protection. They need to allow 4 active modules.

Episode 211 of the V-LOG is live!

Sorry - should have been more specific. Didn't mean the individual "Gauss" protection. I meant being able to equip more than 3 modules. The more turrets that are added to the game, the less % of turrets we are able to protect against. 3 modules and 10 turrets... 30%. 3 modules and 15 turrets... 20%. Etc... It waters down the module system - making it less valuable.

Episode 211 of the V-LOG is live!

A Gauss Rifle is pretty much the same thing as a Rail Gun... <_< "Call it a railgun, a magnetic accelerator, a mass driver, a MAC, a Gauss cannon, whatever, they all refer to the same thing: a weapon that uses pressure of magnetic fields instead of an explosive chemical reaction to propel a projectile." In any event... if they add another turret, I hope they have planned changes for the module system. 3 modules will cover even less of the spectrum...

    Overdrives are here!

I know exactly what Frozen meant. Hence my reply above.

    Overdrives are here!

Maybe if you'd stop relying on just one turret you wouldn't need the OD to compete. Just sayin'...

    Overdrives are here!

Same thing happened to me - MM placed me on blue 3-4 times in a row. When I finally got onto a Red tam, it was a camping team. 5 players or so hiding way back and just trying to make long-distance kills - too bad red doesn't get any pts for that noobs. I was finally able to get close to enemy base while carrying flag and... time runs out when I'm 20m from capping. Nice...

Episode 210 of the V-LOG is live!

"accelerating particles"? That is neither a Rail gun nor a Gauss Rifle. These two fire a solid slug along a rail at high velocities, using electromagnetic force. Only difference is the direction the force is applied within the gun. No one would ever see this difference. Are you thinking of a Particle Projection Cannon (PPc) al-la Mechwarrior? Not the same thing. It's an "energy weapon".
  24. wolverine848

Episode 210 of the V-LOG is live!

We already have that - it's called a RAIL gun. Both use electromagnetic force to accelerate a solid slug. And do we really need another turret? it would water-down the module protection system.
