    Rail does not have splash. Rail and Thunder - even at long range - have different uses. You say stupid and yet... it gets results. Stupid is using a splash-damage weapon up close where you will take damage yourself. Even if you have a 50% module you are still taking 50% of the splash damage and can self-destruct. Loss of life and loss of a kill. Magnum may have larger splash area - but - has a much harder time getting direct hits. 3-4 m off target and your DPS drops a lot. And stop using DPS... only relevant to turrets with continuous fire. Short-rangers and Vulcan.

    Your choice to use Thunder module... or NOT. Which alt you use should not affect that. At any range beyond max damage range Smoky & Thunder have similar DPS. One fires faster but does less damage. If cover available then the turret that does more damage per shot has the advantage - they hide during reload - negating the faster reload of enemy. How do you figure beyond max damage range smoky has advantage over Sledgehammer? Sledgehammer damage does not change versus stock - but - has 30% better reload than stock. It's DPS increases. Especially if Splash comes into effect. Devs figured Thunder users would use Sledge up close like a shotgun. They are using it opposite way - exploiting the 30% reload bonus.

    What does that have to do with using Stock Thunder or Sledgehammer? Regardless of modules you face, for the most part, Sledgehammer outperforms Stock Thunder by a lot. Hence ppl say Sledgehammer is OP.

    You get Spawn-killed regularly in DM. There are too many tanks for many of the maps - one of the reasons I do not like DM.

    It's ridiculous. Alterations are supposed to make turrets different - not better.
  6. In many cases Alterations are different types of ammo - mostly any weapon that fires a physical slug or shell. having said that some feedback on the ones described so far... Tracker: 45 seconds might be a little too long. Maybe 20-30 seconds EMP: redundant as this is Hunters OD. And too OP for being able to deliver from a distance Grenade: 300 damage is not compensated for by the 7% lower damage. Since Thunder already has extra like Splash damage, not sure this would be appropriate.

    So many mults in battles it is just pathetic. My Brigadier account playing with Field Marshals coming in bottom of team at 1-11... it's shameful. Every battle I've played tonight been short at least 1 tank because of inactive players.

    Any distance beyond the max damage range the Sledehammer wins over stock easily. Both will have same damage range but Sledge fires 30% faster.

    What is DPS at long range for stock Thunder? Of course that all depends on how many shots you account for... Rail - well that's not a DPS-type-weapon. You use it for instant high-damage crippling hits. And peeka-boo style fighting. Rail would not sit in open fighting a Vulcan - if cover available Vulcan DPS drops a lot and Rails goes up relatively speaking.

    Well Guido - that's a substantial increase % is it not? And... adds up to a lot more if you can get splash damage on nearby targets as well.

    Your pricing it 150k crystals means only High-rank or buyers can afford it... You want to give players with lots of crystals ability to spy anywhere on the map... for entire battle? :o As a bonus... does this drone catch the Gold box for you? :ph34r:

    Sledgehammer - does not matter if range reduced 75%, 90%, 99%. Players exploit the 50% weak damage and camp with the alt at very long range = way more shots = way more damage

  15. This would be a Pro-Battle selection? Can't see it working for Match-Maker... This could only work for non-team battles (basically another DM) as players will drop out often if they have a terrible combo. So ppl with no m0s will have a advantage right off the bat - they always start with m4s.

    Sure you can. Push [should be] = (X)Weight * (Y)Acceleration You can can reduce (Y)A while increasing (X)Weight. We just don't know if X=Y, or if X>Y or if X<Y. I've seen a hornet push a Titan, so it leads me to believe Y > X... which IMO is backward.

    That is likely a buyer account. Probably has most-used equipment fully upgraded. So a smoky m1 10/10 can do a LOT of damage at that rank. Likely play mostly with friends and has isida healing it all the time. Would be shocked if that player returned 1 flag - even though 80% of playing time is CTF. Used 11k mines already? LOL CAMPER - look at the exp/hr of Magnum vs Smoky. That's where a lot of the mines were used. In 1-2 ranks that player will stop playing this account to preserve and brag about the high k/d. Otherwise - that k/d will drop like a stone when he/she runs into players 4-5 ranks higher and reality sets in.

  21. Yes I understand how alterations work. Not sure why you want a turret that can keep shooting on-and-on-and-on like twins. This is not needed. Especially if you increase spin-up time. That was already increased for stock - and - I absolutely hate that now. Imagine my hate for it if it was even longer...
  22. First off - please use default font - this candy-cane colour scheme is goofy... I would never use a Vulcan that increases spin-up time AND reduces damage. So what if it never overheats... you'll never kill anything because 1) by time u start firing target is already dead or hidden and 2) you'll just tickle them IF you do manage to start firing before they finish dinner. Yes they are just ideas... and... you asked what we thought.... my thoughts are above.

  24. Vulcan start-up already makes it garbage on half the maps. This would slow it even more? Would make it garbage on 3/4 of the maps. And top that off with a whopping 30% reduction in damage? :o No Thanks. Adding fire to another turret? No thanks. HC Batteries. isida goes from 1000*6 = 6000 to 1400*3.5 = 4900. No thanks. Only isida alteration I would want would be opposite - trade DPS for doing more total damage.

    Well - I wouldn't say saving up > 100k crystals by WO1 is easy either. You'd need to forgo many early upgrades and suffer because of that. Unless you completely lucked out on one of the larger container gifts...
