Not if half my team is idle or doing more talking than playing... time to exit. Or when a Major is brought into a Legend battle with that silly "battle group" function. It becomes a handicap. Either the Major leaves, or I do.

Buyers. The speed-ups give them OP equipment for their rank very quickly. They don't need to wait for next sale (and thus rank up) before getting multiple MUs on same item. I do 25%-35% sale if the MU is 1-5/10 or 1-10/20 or 1-6/15 (modules). Higher MUs I wait for 50% sale. Else they never get to M4. Unless it is an emergency - like upgrading to 10/10 on M1 before the M3s are unlocked. Once the M3 is unlocked you don't get the M2 for free.
-
The upgrades get progressively more expensive and take much longer for each next step. Are you using speed-ups? Even with 50/75 sale on MU/speedup you spend more crystals for the same effect (except you get it quicker). It's not cost-effective to use speed-ups. You are better off upgrading all your garage items at same time during a sale. One MU per item per sale. You get way more value for your crystals.

I'm not a fan of MM, but TO has invested too much in it so MM is not going anywhere. The best solution is to fix some of the issues. Hopefully sooner than later. If Devs think it is fine as-is players will eventually get so frustrated with it they will... 1) Switch to Pro-battles, even if they lose out on missions (easier for those with full garage) OR 2) Play less or OR 3) Just leave game entirely

You mean the criticals make little difference in the overall damage (except at long range) ? I mean, their frequency at m4 is no lower than any other m-level, but yes, their effect on average damage (with 5 shots) is only around +9%.
-
Will take a LONG time to get any turret to M3 20/20. Especially since speed-ups are not worth the investment. But if you went from m3 0/20 to m3 5/20 in a few days, it sounds as though "money is no object". Can you upgrade anything else while also fast-forwarding shaft improvements?

There's only 3 slots on the modules... so if many have Hammer / Thunder, which are they vulnerable against? Magnum? (does lots of damage, sight unseen) Freeze? (does lots of damage quickly) Firebird? (kills you as it runs away) Rail? (still LOTs of them in many battles) Isida (highest DPS in game) Now that many turrets "seem" OP, I think the modules are split among more than just a "top 3".
-
1) spin-up not a huge issue - needs some practice on timing. 2) seems a bit OP - maybe 10% to 15% 3) possibly by a little - but - should not be anywhere close to impact it had when first released - that was comical 4) ok 5) YES... I think Devs inadvertently increased overheating when they upped Firebird afterburn The current overheating of Vulcan seems extreme and could be an inadvertent result of the afterburn tweak to firebird. Because of spin-up and spin-down, Vulcan should not be overheating as much as it currently does. Does not do enough damage quickly enough and needs to fire for longer than is currently safe. Is worse than thunder damaging itself.
-
If they fix the issues with MM than I suspect more players will stay in battles and fewer players will find themselves joining half-finished battles.
-
Well then you are not experiencing ANY over-heating. So of course that seems fine. Try firing once the yellow bar is gone. Then you'll understand what a hot-foot is.

Not at all. Sure it deals a lot of damage, but if you rarely hit the target you aim at... It is a mistake. You might get a lock-on 1-in-5 tries. That's a recipe for your own destruction. Striker may seem like it outclasses other weapons on paper. But again, in reality, it hardly ever hits. 2500 dmg x 0 hits = zero damage. It may seem useful in low ranks where tanks move much slower. In upper ranks the missiles are to slow to hit and striker usually dies before it can achieve lock-on.
-
They thought shoving players into half-finished battles was a viable solution. Ooooopps!

You want to waste your time - that's your decision. Some might call it foolish. When MM places me on a team that... - has 2-3 of my players doing more talking than playing, I leave. - has 3 or more players with no score after 3 minutes - I leave. That's not 8 vs 8 - it's 8 vs 4. - has a player on my team 8 ranks below me - I leave, "Battle groups" should be Pro-battles only. I don't care if someone's friend wants to play with Legends - it handi-caps my team. Since Match-Maker can't actually make the players assigned on my team play, I reserve the right to say adios to these "team" players.
-
My Major account was awarded 2 batteries for similar score. It's ridiculous - and a result of Devs evaluating batteries at 300 crystals.
-
I agree. Would also reduce the number of players exiting battles - more likely to "ride out" a bad battle to get a portion of battle-fund. May not help in the really, really bad battles, but for most other battles could work.
-
Not just ill-advised for "him". Also for the entire team that W01 gets placed on. It's a distinct handicap - since opposite team unlikely to suffer same.

Turret balance, MM Sandbox, Smoky XT and new paints

Played some o-supply polygon CP. AT LEAST 2 firebirds per team every battle. If you don't equip fire module you won't last 3 seconds.
-
Yup... that's the turret that has killed me more than any other turret since the upgrade. Why can't Dev's get it right? Ever? Ah never mind - it's probably doing exactly what they want.

Guess which turret is now most popular in Polygon CP? -

Worse thing they've done to Isida (lately) is mess with the scoring. Healing score is way, way down. You struggle to get in upper half of team. Might as well ditch healing altogether, gulp down DD's and kill as many tanks as you can. Seriously - it was a terrible nerf. -
New firebird does really show what afterburn is capable of!

You read (at least part of) my post wrong. As Guido says ... before the 30% buff freeze had dmg per second at m3 of 669 - same as firebird. Energy pool (attack duration) as of now is... still 7 seconds? -

What? It is killing more now than ever. Hit and run. Target just dies as the firebrid hides. Maybe you are facing lots of fire modules or your equipment not upgraded enough. Firebird is at least as effective as it was before the change. -
Wuuuut? Good luck capping the flag without help (noob enemy teams dont count). That shaft that picked off the key defender.. And the isida sacrificing itself to heal you enough to get away... Isn't it awesome when you work hard to get the flag only to arrive at your base to see your flag heading away? No - it is not. Has happened to me multiple times. Without a team you are not gonna cap a flag. Awarding score of 100 to one player was too much. It's a team battle.

Batteries are the worst reward because the Devs have way over-valued the batteries at 300 cry each. 300 :D
