OK... so then it would be.... Red = Major Blue = WO4 + 3LT Now, what if another Major tries to join?
-
You'd like it to become a "support turret". But that does not make it true. "An essential gun in team battles. Can repair tanks within its firing radius and effectively destroy opponents at short-range."
-
Not sure we are talking about same thing... Isida has higher DPS than Freeze or Fire because it has no special attack - it is just pure damage. If you lower Isida DPS it then is at disadvantage vs other short-range turrets.
-
maybe you already follow this - but - don't use MU speedups. Play CTF and CP battles - Isida does best in team battles with tanks to heal. Also, until your hull gets stronger try not to expose yourself to a lot of fire - stay hidden and HEAL. Stay near medium/heavy hulls - they will help you increase your score a lot. Light hulls move around a lot and tend to die much quicker. When opportunity presents itself cap flags as well.

Red = Major Blue = WO4 Where does next person (who is 3rd Lt.) go?
-
Just bought the Assault Ammo alt other night. Won't be winning many DMs with it but - it is pretty funny to flip over the flag carrier as they try to get to their base. I may keep that alt on all the time, and go to Ricco when I feel like inflicting more damage. So a decent alt that does gives more options depending on the mood I'm in at the time.

If you like the items you have at m2 you can always start MU'ing them to m3. That way you... - get results incrementally but much sooner. - do not pay for a paint you don't need. I recommend a medium hull - they are useful in more situations and take a lot more punishment than light. Hornet m2 is fine for when you need lots of speed for things like flag-capping on larger maps. So MU Isida and/or Thunder and save for m3 medium hull - Viking or Hunter. I do not recommend buying the drug kits. That is temporary. You get free supplies with missions. Use those. But in the end, it's your money.
-
You view it as a support turret. For some it may be their only turret of that m-level. So no - it is not just a "support turret". What turret does isida have more damage output than "other without a gimmick"?
-
So there's a couple do-overs you'd like back that wasted crystals (paints, Simoom)... and that explains why you were stuck with M0 so long. Others spending more wisely were able to upgrade much quicker than you. You need to move forward and have a plan. Pick an m3 combo you think you'd like - be it a kit or just hull/turret - and no more m2s. Figure out if you really like any of the equipment you currently have and maybe MU that to m3. This will give you power to compete much quicker. But DO NOT pay for speedups - even on sales - as that is a waste of crystals. Speedups below Gismo are for buyers. Else target an m3 kit and save for that. Will cost a lot but you will get m3 protection and a good hull.

So how do suggest it be changed (again)? Can't damage multiple enemies. Can't slow down enemies. Can't kill an enemy with after-burn even after it dies. Has shorter range than all other turrets sans Freeze & Fire (but see above). What would you tweak?

Autobalance dictates if teams HAVE to be even. OFF means Players can join either side - even if it is currently 7 vs 1

84 / 1 ... 84-to-1 .... eighty-four / one. Yeah, that's a clear advantage. Lots of MUs? Protection? Opposition using lesser equipment? Who know why, but the 84-to-1 ratio says a lot. Not sure how difficult it would be to implement but I think there needs to be two parts to the reward... 1) Split of battle-fund based on team results 2) Performance (score) bonus relative to all those in the battle. Pool of crystals divided purely by score? If you know that you will be (at least partially) compensated for your time in battle you might be more willing to... A) stay in a battle on the losing team - (everyone has limits though and complete spawn-kill-fests will make anyone leave) B) join a team that is losing in hopes you can turn it around, but still get something for your time if team loses. As it is now, what's my incentive to join those battles? Doubtful even missions could be accomplished if spending most of time re-spawning.
-
Why do you need to buy paints? How do they help your in-battle performance? Stop spending "millions" on paints.

I voted for Magnum. But I did just by the smoky Impact Alteration so I'm selfishly hoping smoky gets a few more votes after I use it.

Who is "he"? Red-blotch? Highest ranked with k/d 84/1? Fought on like a man? LOL Seems like "he" had a real tough time. Was Pyc6 an Isida healing "him" or a flag capper - 7/21 could be either. "fought like a man" is when you are getting destroyed and keep going, not when you have an obvious advantage over opposition. And my point was that uneven fund distribution does not motivate people to win. Good chance "nabil" exits a similar battle after getting a measly 60 crystals for a score of 351 - third best in entire battle.
-
Sure there's always the Polygon-crystal-farming Pro-battles. But I often find a good Kunger or Serpuhov CTF game. Those are the best - no DD Magnums (well if they get a lucky supply drop) and you can actually implement tactics. Problem is I'm still doing my mission chains in "normal" - but I have a feeling that's gonna end in near future...
-
The chance that some "good players will come in and help it turn-around" are too small to be considered seriously. You need to quickly evaluate your ROI for time in battle already. if you are lucky it turns sour quickly enough that you can jump ship before being too committed. I don't jump ship all the time. depends on how badly we are going - complete spawn-kill-fest = get out quickly. If there's only a few minutes left and is extremely one-sided, but I have a good score, I might go on pause - exiting just gives enemy more crystals but just playing it out as cannon fodder is brutal. So go on pause and remove one of their targets.

A Legend M3+ Hammer on supplies can do a LOT of damage to my Viking M3+ Isida before it is within range of my Isida. Titan Tiwns on supplies? They never stop firing - isidas do run out of energy though. Also - stop shooting at the lead Isida. Kill the middle or trailing isida - it isn't receiving much healing, is it... PS... an isida can't help another isida if a shaft hits it - can't heal a dead tank.
-
What it will do is motivate people to leave the battle earlier. Already happens A LOT. Top score (nabil) on losing team had 351 pts and received 60 crys Bottom score (bigmarker) on winning team had 117 pts and earned 83 crystals. So someone along for the ride on winning team benefited dis-proportionally at the expense of the losing team. It's a terrible economic system.
-
No. Those are the battles that need to be mercifully ended with the timer. Start fresh. I'm not wasting my time/supplies on a random battle that is already decided and am unlikely able to complete my mission (the sole reason I'm in the normal battle). There's a crystal economy in Tanki. If you ignore that then you will fall behind.
-
You think there's any advantage to having enemies (likely equipped with OD) in your base spawn-killing you? Probability of you being able to fight back I estimate at 10%. That's not even close enough for me to stick around. I don't care about k/d. But I do care about completing missions and earning crystals. You are not going to complete either of those once your team is being spawn-killed. Also, games can become blow-out for many reasons. 1) Uneven teams to start - enemy gets jump on you and your team never recovers 2) Poor team-mates. They exist - too often 3) Enemy is better skilled - also exists 4) Mults
-
Good luck getting that lock-on with all the targets using Speed Boost. And the single unguided missiles have no auto-aim. On a slight bump? the missile lands at your feet or sails off into the horizon. They are not bringing back the self-heal so what do you propose for Isida? It has short attack duration and can't slow or burn targets. The high DPS is needed to compensate.
-
Yup. Keeps putting me in battles that are close to half finished and on the losing side (since winners hardly leave an unfinished battle). Terrible system. I will gladly give up my weekly mission chain to avoid this crap.
-
So... you skipped to page 35 without reading any of the other posts?

A thought of why majority of players are unskilled

Leave the no-supplies Polygon CP no-time-limit battles out of this! I need somewhere for my Isida to generate crystals so I can buy more Magnum Protection (or upgrade the protection I already bought).
