I remember when they took away the ability to MU specific characteristics of your turret or hull. Why? "Because it was too complicated" :huh: Then they introduce OverDrive - which in many cases half my teams of LEGENDS don't know how to use. And they will introduce more OverDrives. That's gonna work out swell. :lol:

Wow - that's disappointing to hear. I know the impact needed reduction badly - the weapon was bouncing tanks around way too much. They nerfed the damage too much as well? I notice that Vulcan along with Striker seem to be the most rare turrets - must be a reason... On the plus side there's likely not as many Vulcan protections out there. Hopefully by time I get to m2s on my alt account it has been tweaked (upward) some. Will have to re-visit at a later time.

Smoky won't take half your life away with two shots, let alone 1. And it has to expose itself to return fire in making the attempt. There's even a chance it leans to far forward trying to hit you and drops down where it is either upside down or chewed apart by defenders at bottom. Magnum does this from up top in it's "castle" protected by mines and any nearby isidas.

Do this in Pro Battles where the rank-range is customizable. Then you can play with friends. Most Majors do not want to play with Legends. The gap in power is just too wide. Very few Majors would be competitive with Legends. Playing with friends should not supersede having a fair/balanced battle.

Really? ?? ??? So in past what was deciding factors that lead to the nerfing of Vulcan, Smoky and Isida? Magnum seems to have as many complaints - if not more - as those other turrets.

Always thought there were issues aiming Vulcan while on the move... no? Started a new account and am currently at Staff Sergeant. Will upgrade my Hunter to M1 (who can afford Predator kit without buying???) and then buy Thunder m1. But after that was thinking of getting Vulcan at m2. How is m2 compared to it's "peers"?

On Monte-Carlo smoky should not be used for killing (for reasons you state above). Instead use the Impact Alt and make them spin every time they use a ramp. Most will not make that jump successfully. ;) But yes - in general I would like a bit better reload or the "weak" damage increased from 10% to 20% or even 25%. Many other ranged weapons have a much better "weak" damage.

So assume it's basically M4 all around - cuz you are not getting 50% protections unless you are close to M4... The two isidas healing each other will still die from two shots from Shaft + pretty much any other long-ranged weapon. (all supplies will cancel each other out) Was in a battle where other team was comprised of 40%-50% isidas. They kept healing each other. But they lost because they were vulnerable to... - ranged weapons - they took a lot of damage approaching their objective. - they can't heal and attack at same time efficiently - mines. They had to pass through mines to get into strategic places. By same token since they were leaving base to CP or heal while advancing, mines were not useful to them. It's even worse in CTF with too many isidas - easier to defend one flag that an isida group is trying to storm. And the bigger the map the more you can damage them on the way.

Sounds familiar. You are half dead before you get to the tunnels or the ramps. If no isida present you might as well sit there and wait for one - as you have NO CHANCE to grab a flag and escape when you start 50% down.

So M0 modules cost 5,000 and have 10%. M1 modules cost 30,000 and have 15%. If buy m0 and MU-it to m1, cost will be same as if I waited and bought m1? (5,000 + 25,500 upgrades?)

Can you use double armor and overdrive? Be honest - you just want some easy kills. ;)

Wrong - It is not fair for Legends to fight Majors. The skill level a Major might have does not make up for the disparity in equipment a Legend almost certainly has. Suck it up butter-cup and battle players closer to your rank. Lowest you should fairly battle is General - players who might have MU-ed equipment up to M3.

As a Legend why do you want to battle Majors?

What's stopping anyone is that majority (95%?) of players go to DM for individual combat. The few "teams" that form ruin that battle-mode. It is not much different from fire-wasp farming. Both are exploits. But diff is Devs have gone out of their way to prevent fire-wasp power-leveling.

Nope. Same as 2015 (which was also only DM). 2016 was a modified 2015 map - much larger. Way better.

How does d/l help you? Isida is good for destroying 1 tank quickly or for getting a decent score in team battles. BUT - you need tanks to heal - not hornets that run out and quickly die.

Ach! - no more splash please. We get enough of that from turrets alts already. I might use it more if they improved the re-load a bit or gave it better dmg at long range. "Weak" dmg is a lousy 10%.

Match-making will be mostly large maps. Even the medium maps are getting re-designed. There will still be lots of hornet-rails.

80% of the Rails I see in battles are Hornets. And I see a lot of rails...

Many of them are equally good. Just depends on what type of tanker you are and what maps you like to play on. Like to cap flags? Anything with Splash not so good. How many M3s turrets do you figure you will have (on this account?) by December. I did not get my 4th turret until just recently. But the again I've been buying M3 Protection (which is a must) and MUing my current equipment.

In Kunger there were many hornets trying to grab our Blue flag. I hit them as they navigated that "village" and many of them ended up driving into walls. Got a couple more "free" shots in as they tried to correct course. It's not a great "killer" but it really messes up movement of medium,and especially light hulls. Time it right against hornets on Boost as they come up a ramp and it's like cheesy television show where the car goes flying for no reason.

Ummm... what about it and how does it apply to someone wanting isida to be nerfed?
