    Costs too much to ditch an M3+ hull. I had already invested a lot in Viking, so I can't afford to give it up. Maybe someday - after a fairly full garage I would buy Hunter as a luxury. But by that time who knows what game will look like.

    If the answer to the issue relies on a specific hull (Hunter) being in the battle, that's bad. Stacking is possible, but not guaranteed. And that's a secondary event that you need to initiate. dictator would get it all for free. I bought Viking before the stats swap for a reason. It was better than Hunter was back then. The name does not make it better - the stats do. In some instances speed might be important but i have Hornet for that. Viking was a more stable platform for turrets like smoky. Not so much anymore.

    Dictators Zero supplies gives increased turret power (double-damage) AND extra armor, speed and mines. The viking supposedly gets "Increased turret power" - and that's it. It better be >>> double damage. If it's related to reload, and it's not at least 50-100% faster then why bother. It would pale compared to the All-supplies of Dictator.

    Rarely see dictator - absolutely the least popular hull currently. Hunter rare as well - but making a come-back after they made the swap of stats and shafted the Viking players.
  7. All things being equal isida and firebird both die - firebird first and then isida after unless it pops an RK. A good freeze player has just a good chance vs isida. Freezes that just sit there and trade attacks will lose - but they don't know what they are doing.

    Legends who don't turn their turret AND don't use the OverDrive when star is shining and they are next to 2 or 3 team-mates. Or maybe they were just mults.

    Since Magnum M1 has max damage of ~ 1500 it can kill a Wasp M1 (~ 1000 health) Some factors to consider... - you did not get a direct hit, but instead did splash damage - Wasp had DA - Wasp had lots of MU putting it closer to M2
  10. This might explain the deluge of complaints about Isida being OP. It's a tough nut - but hardly OP in upper ranks.
  11. Why does customized mapping of controls revert back to default? I know I mapped gold to 0 and yet when I go for a mine and miss "GOLD WILL BE DROPPED SOON". :o :angry: Give me a break. It's not like I have dozens of them.

    This seems to be a standard response so I'll provide one as well... You can't do missions in Pro-Battles. so... does not solve the issue of new players not understanding how it works when in normal battle mode.

    Been telling them that in each and every one of the 17 posts created so far saying how OP Isida is. I don't create a post on magnum every week (created none at actually) but - as mentioned above - it does do quite a lot of damage for a turret that does not need to expose itself to return fire. tweaking the damage and/or splash radius down a tad would not be unreasonable.

    Yeah - saying a turret is not OP if you equip a 250k/125k crystal protection-module against it is... well... kinda silly. The effectiveness of a turret needs to be evaluated without add-ons. I battle Isidas every day, on different types of maps without a protection module. Tough to combat? Sure. OP? Heck no!
  15. Ok... Nasthutha has DD not DA... but is not being healed by an isida. Closest isida is attacking the Twins. So destroying Nasthutha will be even easier. You have little hope if your team can't/refuses to use OD while other team does use it. You have little hope while being outnumbered - and adding in 2 magnums makes it way worse. The point is - in the battle depicted in the screenshot it's not isidas that make it unbalanced. It's crappy team-mates and being outnumbered that makes it unbalanced.
  16. Kill the one not being healed. And... the one attacking the Twins with DA will run out of juice very quickly. So Nastutha will be dead soon. I hope Amigo knows how to use OverDrive... so many that don't seem to know... even after all this time. Plus at that CP it's 5 (6 including shaft if clear shot) vs 2 - how you expect to win that fight regardless of turrets?

    One area where being a buyer gives a huge advantage, as the modules are very expensive. Most tankers up to Generalisimo have ~ 3 modules at M3-level, covering most of the turrets at least once. But in battles you might be lucky to get two of those covered, and between 35%-40%. But buyers... good chance they have way more than 3, in many combos that allow them to cover themselves from 3 most popular weapons in current battle, closer to 50%.

    Biggest issue is CTF. You need to be near your own flag to protect it. And enemy knows that. So even if flag is in somewhat protected area (ie not in LOS of shaft) Magnum can still target that area. Same with a CP battle like Alexandrovich. One point, large map - magnum can be anywhere while it rains destruction on those trying to capture the point. Shafts can still be targeted if they try for kills near CP. Magnums - not so much. It does too much damage for a weapon that does not need to put itself in harms way at all. Being able to target enemies unseen should come at a cost of reduced damage. Or a slower rate of fire. The fact it has no turning turret penalizes some tankers not at all. ;)

    Well, I did use "force" in quotes... the OP-ness of Magnum affects the game more than any other turret save the mystical "Isida-trains"... except you only need one Magnum to have similar effect. How you "staying away" from Magnum? Hiding in a tunnel whole game? Don't understand 3/ above...

    If I have to rely on a Protection Module to make a turret less "OP" then that's not the correct way to go about iit. In that situation I'm "forced" to use that protection to just survive when maybe I want to use another. I don't have that issue with other turrets. Or not nearly to that extent. OP-ness of a weapon should be considered independently from how many people might have protection against it. Everyone seems to thing Isida is so OP - and yet i never equip a module that protects against it...

    Nah - it's more than one person complaining about one turret. Many, many players feel that turret is currently OP. It needs tweaks - just like every other turret had tweaks a while after introduction. It does way too much damage for a turret that does not need to expose itself to danger.

    They purposely buffed Shaft so it could one-shot up to medium hull of same M-level. You need some shaft protection - that way with DA you are safe (for one shot anyway)...

    There might be some cases where this works... TDM battles with long-range turrets... heal the fat-boys as they shoot and get damaged. An Isida on each team could end up top-scorers. Highways, Brest, even Serpuhov red side - isida in base has lots to heal.

    Fire & Isida were designed for different things. Isida gets lot of score (and thus xp and crys) by healing team-mates. And it can defend itself 1 vs 1well. You need many kills for mission? Fire prob better bet. But if you need crystals or xp - Isida can do it for you. Finish first? Good chance with Isida. No supplies battle? Team without Isida << Team with Isida.

    M2 I'd say smoky is stronger. But M3-M4 I'd lean to Ricco. However, with heavy hulls and protection it might lean to smoky as Ricco may run out of juice. If Ricco can't kill smoky with 1 magazine advantage to smoky with no recharge.
