I've brought this up before - there should be some kind of division(s) even in these upper ranks. Would have thought the spread for downward was larger though - could have sworn I've seen Brigadiers in some of my battles.

If a Freeze attacks you from behind, are you able to turn around and fight back? If you are using a smoky to attack from behind, and they turn around and kill you - you are using it wrong.

Have played it for a while. Sorry - nope. It's meh game-play. Tank movement is cartoonish - bouncy. Very limited number of maps. You mention low cost. Don't forget to mention the low rewards. AND... they just added a DESERTER penalty for people leaving games - regardless of reason. Something Tanki O just rejected.

Dude - was an editing mistake BUT - adding the word "Can't" changes nothing about my response. My point is they are NOT catering AT ALL to established players. Majority of changes made in last year+ is to try to draw in new players at expense of old. No - Hazel never explained it. And inquiring minds still want to know. We deserve a proper explanation.

It's great for medium range (and long with the MFS alt) - I have a smoky 3.5 and have rarely used it since picking up Ricco. Once you learn how to bounce the shots in tunnels and around corners it is great fun. There's nothing like causing 300-800 damage on enemy before they even see you. I blindly shoot around corners, and once I see the damage counter just keep firing.

"just cater to dedicated players..."? Seems like Devs are doing anything but. Many (most?) of the changes in past year or so are not welcomed by the established players. How are you going to bring in new players when word-of-mouth will be going against that? As an aside... can please you speak with someone "in-the-know" and get an explanation of why the characteristics for Viking and Hunter were basically swapped? A full explanation - not a simple "because balance".

Makes sense. I still like the speed of shots when MFS equipped but I get what you are saying. If I ever have a surplus of crystals (hard not to snicker while typing that) I might consider the splash damage for Polygon. But - is the radius enough to make a real difference? How does it compare to Thunder?

Depends on if you are OK with the Rail-gun delay in firing. Smoky and Thunder are quite similar now except smoky better at close to short-medium range while Thunder better at far-medium to long range.

Durability? They have the same armor... If mammoth can't push a titan it loses one of it's few advantages. Only one left I can think of is stability under fire. mammoth should be better than Titan for that. Not sure if that offsets Titans speed and (debatable?) pushing power.

Reduction in damage? You mean like damage-per-minute because of re-load time? I don't notice it. After a full clip target is usually destroyed because more balls are actually hitting due to the increased speed, and the reduced time between the impacts.

I can't believe the number of Isida players that will jump out from cover and lead the charge to attack, only to get killed by a distance weapon. All this as they dart past a heavy or medium hull team-mate who could take care of the enemy while being healed.

Buff magnum? LOL. How are you determining the efficiency/OP-ness of those specific turrets? Reason for striker and Magnum not being leader-board is that they are newest turrets. Takes a Loooong time to buy them and then upgrade to M4, then play them enough hours to count.

It will be luck of draw that the OD associated with our current hulls we find actually useful... so in the blink of an eye an m3+ hull could become obsolete vs a hull of same type... medium for example. You get the OD that does not seem nearly as useful as another gets, you feel like parking that hull. What is the list of OD candidates? -
And it's not just the distance. Speed of balls goes up 100% I think. 2x as hard to dodge.

Why? Experience gained is experience gained. You understand there's are real reason why most players leave a battle - when team is losing there is no reward. Even worse - getting plunked onto a team losing 5-0 with 2 minutes left. Until the reward system is totally overhauled players will have ( good ) reason to leave a ridiculously unbalanced battle. Example: a player is on team that starts losing, and half the players leave. During this time, while down tanks, the other side caps another 3-4 flags or runs up the CP to a difference of 30-40. Are you saying a player that has put in 6 minutes of battle, earned ### xp and collected 4 DA should no have any of that counted toward a mission? If "yes"... go play Tanki-X. That's the game for you.

Never said you had to hate it. And not sure why you get upset at people who don't like it. You like it fine. Others don't and that's fine too. Devs said over-and-over they didn't remove the battle list - partially correct. They did remove the battle-list from battles where we can complete our missions. Important fact that keeps getting left out.

Which approach? The one whereby they brand tankers who leave early a "DESERTER"? NOOOOO Tanki X does not even have a timer for when battles are 4 vs 8. They expect the "4" to stay in the battle as cannon fodder while the other team runs up the score and spawn-kills. It is a complete joke. I'm done there for now. Will re-visit in 4 months to see if they've managed to pull their heads out of their bottoms. I don't have high hopes they can manage it.

Rage? :huh: What?? I didn't use multiple colors and LARGE TEXT. I used some upper-case, but that was on the word SWEET. So doesn't count... Majority of posters here don't like the "update" so get off your high horse before you hurt something.

You are missing the point. The current formula for awarding crystals in battle is terrible. So mission rewards are needed. No one wants to play on losing teams (normal or pro-battle) because the losing teams get squat. There is no point in joining or staying in a battle on the losing team because the ROI does not justify the time and frustration. Get plunked on a losing team with 5 minutes left in battle by MM? Adios muchachos.

Choice of map was mentioned 2x probably because it is quite a sore spot with a lot of players. Forcing 20 tanks into every battle seems like a poor decision. Why not have a minimum of 4x4. More tanks can be added as battle progresses. Many would have no issue starting a battle at that amount - means < waiting and more flexibility. And would also allow a lot of maps that are no longer useful. Sandbox is a favorite and could be included. For me, not choosing map and getting placed in battles with 1 minute left were two of my pet peeves with MM

So... if I use the "goddamn battle list" I can now complete my missions there? SWEET!
