Wait - what? 8 vs 5 is... balanced? How so? Assume each tank is relatively even... 5 vs 5 cancels out. That leaves 3 tanks to grab supply drops or cap flags. It's not balanced but - timer won't kick in either. has to be 8 vs 4 in that case, no?

A change in re-load of 0.1 may not seem like much to say... Rail. But for Smoky that is a much higher change %-wise. Reload and critical Hit were two of the key parameters Smoky users rely on. Devs have made each one worse - for the 2nd time in two months. The nerfs start to add up... -
I have opposite view. Some of the best battles I've ever been in were Pro-Battles supplies disabled. No dying 2 seconds after spawning. Had time to form tactics and actually make assaults on other base without most members dying as soon as nose poked out from base. Can be a bit harder to cap flags without RKs but that makes the thrill greater - more danger and more of a feat to cap. Spawning-dying-spawing-one-shotting opponent-dying-spawning.... etc gets boring quickly. Also seems a bit of contradiction... if guns are ineffective how are you dying too early?

Then why are all the non-smoky users happy? On top of the same nerfs applied to smoky last update... We're getting nickel-and-dimed to death. death of a thousand cuts. It all adds up. Basically, every time I improve the turret (M2 - M3) or (add MUs) I'm back to starting point. Won't see any difference in performance based on the 8-10 MUs I just added. Gee thanks. -

My point is with your weak hull Rails and Shafts are one-shotting u without supplies. So an M1 Smoky on supplies should 1-2 shot u. Most turrets will do that so not sure why u think smoky was OP. Most turrets are when on DD. -

Speaking of smoky... they are nerfing it - AGAIN. Increased re-load and decreasing critical.

Why is Smoky being nerfed (AGAIN)? Latest re-balance lowered firing rate and lowered Critical hit. Now both are being lowered again. This is becoming a farce.

And increased re-load... LMAO. If they keep it up Thunder reload will be faster than smoky. And the damage isn't even close. There's... just... no more words....

So let me get this straight... you put on a sale for MUs. I spend a bunch of crystals on smoky MUs. Then a few days later Devs revise smoky and lower the Crit (again) and increase reload (again)? Are you nuts? Do you want us to hate you? Why would anyone by Smoky instead of Thunder which does way more damage? -

I just spent a bunch of crystals MU-ing smoky during the sale. Now they nerf it - again! Holy crap. -
Paladin is a good kit - you will like it. Have Smoky M3 but have not bought the alteration. It might be useful in some specific situations (one vs one or maps with lots of ramps) where the impact will have huge effect. But I don't see it as widely applicable.

Game economics. Winning a battle is the single most important factor to getting the lions share of the battle-fund. Once a team has the lead, and in the proper map - they try to defend. Set up a nice kill-zone and let the attackers break themselves against the defense. Red Noise is perfect for this. It is very hard for blue to get up the ramps if 2nd level is well defended. The battle fund keeps going up because Red is killing the Blue tanks. All you need is a 1-0 win to grab a bunch of crystals. Does not always work - but works often.

Could Micro-upgrading be faster than full upgrading of any equipment?

why would you "have to" MU (without discounts)? Advantage - early performance upgrades for a lot of crystals. Disadvantage - costs a LOT of crystals for each step - especially if you use speed-ups.
