    What the? Depends. I used to play Isida all the time. I never play it now - it's boring. If they have a decent compromise between damage and self-healing I might actually start using it again. The last version (with 10% self-healing) was just awful. Needs to be better than that.

    Does not need to be OP. They should have tried 25% (basically half) way back when they killed it by doing 10%. Don't understand why Devs can't do things in a measured way.

    I too dislike 5-0 games. I like soe of the big maps - especially Skylark. But 7 min is too short. Those maps need 10-min battles.

    Those maps are too big for 7-min battles. And the number of players is too much as well. Hard for ANY tank to cap on them unless one team is just overpowering another and dominating. In this case, it's a map-issue and not hull issue.

    My main account (this one) has... Brutus-lvl14 Trooper-lvl15 Miner-lvl4 Defender-lvl20 Trickster-lvl8 Lifeguard-lvl14 My Miner drone will be useless IF supplies are dependent on the MU-level... By L6 I had about 3 drones (Brutus, Trooper, Miner) and Trooper was the highest at lvl12
  11. By then it's too late - range is not THAT far and my wasp is closing fast with SB on. IF they actually look at that while they are scanning for targets. That early in the game they are not expecting to be ambushed. Anyway, it DOES work. Maybe not on Sandbox, but on the larger maps where you can arrive from multiple angles? it does.

    It will be IF buyers can get another advantage through better supplies. They will pump up 1 drone (probably Brutus) to ensure all their supplies are at max power. Meanwhile, the rest of the peasants will be droneless and have weak supplies. IF this is indeed how it's going to work, TO is making it even worse for F2P tankers than it already is. How can there be balance in the lower levels if there's a way to buy yourself out of the nerf? It's bad enough for low-rank players since they rank too fast. This will make it more ridiculous. And let's not forget the proposed module revision - where low-rankers have to buy more slots...
  13. They don't see you coming. You don't drive right at them from where the action is. And many maps don't have perfect camping spots where they can see everything, including the cap-points. In Siege campers need to be where they can see the cap-points. Easier on bigger maps of course. But many campers have tunnel vision while looking for targets. And you might be reading more into it than you should... "All ya gotta do is ambush a few campers to get the OD jump-started" I wasn't doing this all battle. I boosted my OD at the start so I could go on killing sprees in the domes.
  14. I didn't use the bomb on them - I did not have it yet. I ambushed campers with Freeze and killed them to generate my OD. Once I had OD I zipped into the dome, froze would-be-cappers and killed them. Usually at least 3 per bomb. But I'm curious how you figure the camper would escape the bomb if I chose to go that route. The campers have their eyes on the cap-point to pick off valuable targets. Odds are they are not equipping cold-immunity even if they had it. Once I start freezing they are not escaping. Drop the bomb and run. But's that's not how I did it.
  15. Wow. I used it a lot in Siege and got tons of kills. Pair it with freeze and no one escapes the blast. Just used a wasp(m7-8)/freeze(m7-9) in Siege. went 14-8, catching a lot of enemies hiding in their own dome at the CP as we won 3-0. All ya gotta do is ambush a few campers to get the OD jump-started... and this combo has no augments.

    They would have called it something else if it worked the way you think it works. It's not just a description in science fiction. It's how rail-guns work in just about every other game that includes rail-guns. And then there's that small matter of the description on the WIKI... where it states that it actually is a bullet.

    "gravity" already affects Thunder and Gauss arcade. Rail and Shaft and Gauss snipe have too much initial velocity for gravity to have an effect before the projectiles reach the target. Striker is a missile with it's own propulsion and one would assume some fins that guide it - so gravity is a none-issue here.

    None of those gifs are showing "impact". Even the first one - if the laser had impact it would have knocked the block backward upon contact. It did not. it is inexplicably controlling the blocks movement - but it is not "impacting" it.

    Nice story. One problem is.... light does not cause impact.
  23. How too weak? It's stripping off supplies and the faster firing makes up for the damage nerf. It can hit the "naked" target again before supplies come back. And the "nerf" to arcade shot? No splash? That's actually a benefit - allows close-combat without self-damage? Remember there was actually a Thunder augment players paid crystals for to do the same thing?

    Nope. You see the trail from the hyperfast "slug". Why would TO change the entire concept of the weapon, and add impact to a laser (which is just concentrated light that generates heat). Is your opinion based solely on what you think you see when the gun is fired? Your opinion on how it works is contrary to both the explanation TO gives on it's own WIKI ... and... physics.
