    It's a one-missile salvo with -50% aiming time. Guided missile that takes 1.4 seconds to lock-and-launch.

    Have you actually played recently? How can it be ineffective when it has such a high critical chance compared to most turrets. Majority of the damage it does comes from critical which ignores those expensive modules players have invested a lot of crystals and time to upgrade.

    There is no reason for anyone to complain about modules right now. Modules took a big nerf when critical hits were introduced. Some augments do make turrets ridiculously OP - mainly because they get to apply status effects with little or no downside. Rail has a lot of OP augments - so rail users complaining are hypocritical. And apparently striker-stun does this on every single missile - LOL. One thing I worry about is the Armadillo module - which nullifies critical hits. Augments like smoky-autocannon will be useless. Not nerfed - but completely useless since it relies on Crit hits entirely for damage. Stock Rail will be pretty useless too since 2/3 of it's damage comes from Crit hits.

    That would be horrible. Players would spend more time re-spawning than playing. Campers would love it. But then again they are not in the danger-zones. And since Rail has such a high critical chance compared to most turrets, who uses Rail protection anyway? When it does the most damage your module is ignored. There's absolutely no reason at all for Rail-users to complain about "too many modules being used".

    mk6 stops at mk6.5 then it flips over to mk7 for free. SoI only have 1 step to go for about 4 or 5 modules. But that is a lot of crystals without a sale. Even at 50%, mk7 will still cost more than going from mk6.4 to mk6.5 without a sale. And no sale since the announcement. Better be one before the change kicks in. If those 4 upgrades are wasted I will be quite upset.

    Wait - when does that happen? One of my accounts has a bunch of mk6-4 modules. Which costs a mint to go to mk6-5 without a sale.

    Titan Vs. Mammoth

    Titan's speed is barely better (8%) than Mammoth. Mammoth has better acceleration and more weight. Mammoth can kill a Titan inside the dome. Mammoth immune to status effects during the duration of OD. It's not as one-sided as you suggest.

  14. Using or not using a hull based on looks? Oooookayyy... each to their own ? As for performance of Viking - I too never expected it have damage boost in addition to the reload boost. I figured it would last longer but not be as "potent".

    Serene asked why people have a problem with 4 modules now. I answered by explaining it's not the 4th module specifically - it's HOW you acquire that 4th module that players are upset about. As for new players - good luck to TO for retaining any new players they get - it's gonne be much worse for new players than when I first joined. A lot worse.

    So did everybody else who did not buy a 4th module. They recalibrated because 3 is no longer the max.

    Protection modules have not worked that way for a while now. Not since Hull Immunities/Resistances were introduced. You need to have a hull augment versus freezing to reduce the slowness effects.

    There have always been some players that wanted 4 module slots once a bunch of turrets were added to the game. I was one of them - though not 4x50. Each protection loaded should have a nerf if 4 slots are used. That is not the issue. When there were only 3 slots available, everyone was equal - you could choose to buy protections for crystals and equip them in the 3 slots available. But now it's not equal. We can't buy the 4th slot for crystals. Only TKs. Which we all know buyers have way more of. So this change favors Buyers in a big way. That's why players are unhappy about the 4th module.

  22. If it was as strong as you suggest, there'd be more of them in battles. Maybe seeing an average of 1 Isida per battle - including both teams. Seeing way more... Gauss, Rail, Vulcan, smoky, shaft than I am Isida.

    Why? Legend players still play tankers that are much lower than Legend because of the wide rank-spreads. You think they should have more of an advantage by having access to a 4th slot while the players lower than them (in the same battle) cannot?

    So... only 5x what some were guessing. Bleccchhh. Not a chance I spend 5000TK for that. And how does TO expect ANY player to join the attacker side in Assault when the Striker-with-Stun will make the player drop the flag with every single shot?

    Well, guess I won't ever be playing attacking team in Assault. Me-thinks that side will be short of players every battle.
