What an odd way to answer the question. What do YOU think. It may have reduced the salvo damage, but it removes all supplies, and that cool-down lasted longer than the speeded up reload. That is not balanced.

But this is where your argument fails. ODs are basically the most potent aspect of the game. The earlier you get OD, and the more often you have OD, the further ahead in a battle a player will be compared to anyone else. ODs are a positive feedback loop. The strong are more apt to have it earlier, and more often. Once you get the first OD you generate the next OD even faster than everyone else. Which type of player do you think gets OD earlier and more often? A buyer or a F2P tanker? If ODs were only obtained passively, it would be more balanced. But they are not.

We had dictator Heat immunity 3 Challenges ago. In any event, April II Challenge will be a hard pass for me.

Yup - they are basically the same thing. Most 1st-person shooters have 1 OR the other - never both. Which is why I found it odd that TO introduced the Gauss when it already had Rail.

Well, in two accounts I only have that on 1 tank. So even if I happen to be playing that one tank and equip EMP-immunity, I'll get stunned left and right by Rail-stun or Hopper. Like I said - the game is getting stupid. Having to hope someone does not target you with an OP augment or OD during the 45 seconds per game you are not under status effect is just silly.

Too early to say if any of the augments need a tweak. BUT - I really do think the stock needs a tweak. The velocity is a bit slow and I still find the (vertical) auto-aim to be terrible. I miss way more shots than I used.

Overheating is overheating. IF HR makes your tank slower to overheat, then you will not do burning damage until you overheat. Once you start to overheat the fire damage should be applied. I don't see any value in controlling the amount of damage dished out based on how much the attacker is overheating.

When TO sees that few players will get involved in special events that only buyers can "win" they will either modify the event so it is more F2P friendly or stop wasting our time with these kinds of events. I don't believe the boycott is to help players learn something. I think it's about sending a message to the company. Be more transparent and let us make informed decisions.

Why would heat be applied to enemy more slowly when attacker has no heat resistance? IMO heat damage applied to target should be dependent only on targets protections. Equipping HR will allow attacker to use IB normally, but the attacker will only be able to reduce self-damage instead of ignoring it.

Does it not already do that? Isn't that what the augment is for? Both defender and attacker...

Nothing in the above gives any indication money must be spent to be able to win the big prize. You entice everyone to play but are not specific on what must be invested to win. Good chance many players would not have invested their time if they knew they had no chance to reach the end. It's a very misleading "event". Shame on you.

Just left a TJUG battle. loaded with Rails doing Crit every second shot and Gauss-EMPs. Bleccchhh Have Dictator EMP-immunity on my other account so I switched to Dictator-Vulcan-Adrenaline. The Gauss tears were nice and salty. But it does suk that I need to switch accounts in order to compete.

Ah... but it IS a P2W update. OD is a positive feedback loop. The more powerful your set-up is the more often you will get OD since OD is not generated just by time. Score also plays a large factor in how soon and how often you get OD. First players to get OD now have a much better chance to generate OD even faster. And since OD is like God-Mode-On, those players will generate a much higher score. Which type of player do you think gets Overdrive more often in a battle?

I think HR should allow Vulcan to do same damage as current. There's nothing that says HOW MUCH you have to heat up to deliver the damage. Damage is not dependent on how hot your own tank is. I think mitigating self-damage (but still taking self damage) is enough. After all, that's how it worked when IB first came out, before HI was introduced and fire module was neutered.
