    Meh. it is "classified" as passive, but the only real passive drone is Brutus. Crisis is very similar to Defender or Booster - it boosts specific parameters when activated via supplies. That is NOT passive.

    It's not a laser - read the description for the turret on WIKI. How can a laser cause impact? Lasers are concentrated light energy that burn. Think Star-trek Phasers. They are basically lasers. As opposed to Photon-Torpedos...

    Gauss-rifles and Rail-guns are both coil-guns. They accelerate a hard, heavy slug at hypervelocities. !st-person shooters like UnReal, Quake and Red Faction used Railguns and the Mechwarrior universe had Gauss-Rifles. All basically the same thing.

    Rail fires a heavy slug which is accelerated along the "rail". "A big caliber turret with a lightning-fast barrel speed and projectiles made from depleted uranium."

    If the shot is a laser, how does it have impact of 650 - more than double that of Thunder?
  7. There should be no splash with EMP. Period. It is an EMP shot, not High Explosive. It's silly for one shot to do both.

    Well, mid-ranks might not have them , or at least not upgraded much. But those same mid-ranks DO play against Legends these days with the ridiculous rank-spreads. And it takes a long time to upgrade drones - so if they don't have them now, won't be reaping benefit from them for a long time. I still want to know exactly how drones like Defender, Booster & Crisis will work. People have invested (crystals & time) in them, now they might change?

  10. Yeah but.... 95% of the time that's when I'm just loading into a battle. You get an OD at the avg time I Ioad into a battle. That's nuts.
  11. How are you always playing on teams where there are not 3 others like you? In other words... 4 "good" players competing for the 3 spots? Especially if you end up on winning team... that typically indicates better players on the team. Much easier to be top-3 on a losing team... you don't have the potent team-makeup to pull off the win. But then, that top3 won't count, right?
  12. Well they've coded it like some of the AP ones as well - doesn't magnum do that with splash? But it makes no sense. High-explosive (Splash) rounds would be completely different from the rounds that cause EMP. Same for AP. AP = armor piercing. AP rounds have a depleted uranium core and thus have little or no explosive at all. They are a hard, heavy slug that punches a hole through the target. No explosion.
  13. Well, that's pretty rare and has a very small impact on completing that top3 mission overall.
  14. Well you don't get to choose your maps. So one battle you can have small map (6 vs 6) and next battle could be Berlin (12 vs 12?) EDIT - not entirely sure what you are meaning with the 4 vs 4...

  16. If it's firing an EMP-round to take supplies off a target, why does it need a splash (High-explosive) effect as well? Players should be forced to choose - remove supplies from a target (EMP salvo) ... OR ... have splash effect (Stock).
  17. Players that say it's easy and they always end up in top-3 OF WINNING TEAM are by far in the minority. They have to be - math says so. Since only 3 out ALL tanks in the battle can meet the conditions, ON AVERAGE it takes 60 battles.

    They are upset because the specific requirements are not spelled out before they invest their time. Maybe a lot of players would not have even started if they knew they had NO CHANCE to finish the game. And TO was counting on this. If they were transparent from the start they might not have the participation they were hoping for. It's dishonest.

  20. Non-buyers can participate in about 1-in-5 Gold tiers that award hull immunities. (4x100tk from 4 Challenges and ~ 100TKs from weekly containers) Easy to miss out hull immunities awarded via the Battle Pass.
  21. Just because you didn't buy more, does not mean others are the same. There are lots of EMP gauss out there from buyers - I see them every battle. And those that might only have it on some of their accounts are using it exclusively because it was/is OP. So us non-buyers were/are at the mercy of the buyers using EMP-Gauss.

    The "not anything at all" is not quite true. Long before ODs were introduced I too was in the situation of going up against more powerful enemies. It was tough, but I endured. Back then it was supplies making the big difference. All the weaker player has to do is hit targets - they die and a partial kill is generated. Or heal someone - Isida is a relatively easy way to generate a modest score. But now, players with comparatively OP equipment are finishing games much faster than they used to. The OD they get (much sooner) is a big part of that. The game is often out of reach even before that weaker player gets 1 OD ready.
  23. It's not even weak against someone with EMP immunity. Sure they don't lose their supplies - but the salvo still fires quite fast. It's akin to using Scout for Rail.
