Why? To what end? This is about 17 days of boosted experience. That's a lot of ranking new players will do. It's worse for them than just an Ultra Weekend boost.

Also does not erase the status effect if you already have it. Which is dumb. Then you need to waste the free RK if you want to have it before you are hit.

Please stop with the boosted experience. It is NOT beneficial to new players who will rank up faster than their actual game-experience warrants. THIS is one reason why player numbers are down - new players will just quit because they are put into the frying pan before they are seasoned. (pun intended)

Well yeah. I'd go as far to say GS has nothing to do with skill. You can have GS = 9999 and very little skill. All it takes to get 9999 is $ and time.

I think the Devs know pretty much how many of their changes would affect the game. And even if they did not, does not seem to make a difference. I mean look how long Hornet OD went before they changed it. Was years. I think they purposely leave OP changes in the game so 1) players will flock to the new META and spend $ to get it and... 2) players will spend $ to combat the new META. They seem to like the game being unbalanced. In long run this WILL hurt them as the player base keeps shrinking. That ends up being a negative feedback loop,

This is the exception and not the rule - especially as you have put forth a format battle. In 99% of the cases where it's 7k vs 2k, the 7k will stomp the 2k. It's not just hulls and turrets. Drones and hull augments contribute to the score and can make a HUGE difference. MM placed me in an Assault battle with Brigadiers and majors. I was on defending side, and went 19-0, shutting down one of 3 flags for entire battle. It was pretty silly - 2 and even 3 of them attacking me at same time and it was not even close.

I said they were a grind. I know how to use my items after 5 years of playing.

Depends on your missions. Sometimes it's not hard. Other times it is a grind. Those top3-winning team missions and deal 300k damage in Siege are grinds. No quick way to accomplish. Same with score 1500 pts in Assault. And these often occur AFTER using the free switch. Blecchh.

Depends. I don't care about my GS since I know it falls within std deviation of my rank. But I do care when I see players on my team with a GS much lower than average and they perform accordingly. My team is basically a tank short at that point.

And did anyone else cap? Been in battles where Hoppers are getting ALL FIVE Caps...

With the wider and wider variety of hull augments out there now I'd say Incendiary is near the top. Fire module does not help and there are a lot more choices besides heat immunity to choose from. Especially in modes like CTF and rugby and assault. Players are choosing Stun/EMP/COLD/Heavy hull augments over heat.

Just finished a CP battle on Industrial Zone. We had two shaft-campers and lost 30-15. SMH. And a total noob shaft-camper in Siege Yorkshire. Bottom of the score-board sitting in a tower with nothing to shoot at. I have zero respect for players like that.

Left 2 battles tonight already because I had completely unbalanced teams. First one it was 6 vs 8, and one of our 6 was a Brigadier. We were getting spawn-killed. E-X-I-T Second one we had a Legend with GS = 1280. Ridiculous. E-X-I-T.
