  1. Hunter does not disable all enemy overdives. Viking OD is "temporarily interrupted" - weird. Mammoth keeps OD - and can kill a Hunter that does not run. And since hornet AP is applied to target that is not affected. Hopper has no delay so most of the time wins that battle. And key in your post is "well-timed". I've used Hunter a lot, but I still lose the attempt - mainly because of the delay - about 25% to 33% of the time. Ranged turrets and ranged ODs can nullify Hunter. And the worst part is Hunter seems to get the worst OD retention because of failure. Often down to ZERO with nothing to show for it.

    Those mults dying repeatedly more than offset anything a few good players can do. Those mults often lose you the battle.

    How do you play TDM without decent team-mates? No matter how many kills you can make, that can easily be offset by noobs on your team dying repeatedly.

    Multiple battles today where multiple team-mates have GS < 5000. Other team... not at all. FIX THE RANK-SPREADS AND TEAM BALANCING ALREADY! I look at teams each time I enter battle and will continue to exit when I see the ridiculous set-up TO is allowing.

    ASL is bad because the maps impact the assigned goals, which are not the same for each team. The goals are quite unbalanced depending on the map. And also the team. If attackers do not co-operate they stand no chance on some maps. Conversly defenders stand no chance if attackers have multiple Hopper tanks with Defender or Crisis.

    You mean like... 3 years ago? Even now though... my Titan loses pushing wars with hunter and even viking - and they don't have the heavy-augment. Tanki physics works like it was designed by a grade-1 student sometimes...
  8. Why? It's short range - the hunter has to get close. Some ODs give massive damage that allow killing a tank to be easy. Flag is dropped then right? The stun at short range is no more of an advantage those those massive damage-dealing ODs give. Besides - when you come to a sudden (complete) stop from full speed it's not unexpected you will drop something - especially if you no longer have motor-control.

    Lots of crap battles AGAIN. Each time I'm placed in a battle the other team is already capping 1-2 flags. Or just spawn-killing. E-X-I-T. Can't get any missions completed. Match-Maker is garbage.

    The key number is ...before mk1 overheats. That's where mk8 shines - it does a lot more damage, and would kill a medium hull before the mk1 even starts to overheat.
  11. How are Titans farming domes? There are 6 ODs that currently negate or ignore the dome. Plus AP augments for turrets. How can a team possibly not be able to minimize that Titan with all those options available?
  12. I don't see how you can work that "1 enemy every 3s". What if there's 4 in front of it - which one gets "AP"d?

    I don't see the problem. Twins was protecting his JUG. I do that all the time. Worst thing team-mates can do is not defend the JUG - that's how you lose. You had a choice to take a different route. The twins out-waited you and won that one-on-one battle by default.

  17. You left out Overdrive... - Leaping over mines and defenders (renders many maps bottle-necks useless) and... - Stuns (with no delay!) and... - burns for up to 3000 damage (that's a medium mk7+ hull) All together the OD is too much.

    The 7th post on p1 nullifies this - as Blood already tried that explanation (via Lifeguard) Asem, for some reason, thinks there's a case where an mk1 is actually better than an mk7 - if you could pick either. Which is never the case...

    I don't understand - the picture does not explain anything - except that you are playing on Highways. So you are trying to destroy JUG, and JUGs red team-mate, a Twins, was defending and stopping you from doing that?

    Would only be good for Custom battles or special events. As Asem says above - can't have a MM mode that forces specific equipment. I didn't bother playing that in Nov - had no interest in it.

    When is Match-Maker rank-spreads and team-balancing going to be fixed? Currently MM battles are trash because the matching of players is obscene.

In general there is very little team-work in TO. part due to language barrier (can't understand half of messages typed in chat), part because many players have their own personal goals that do not line up with the battle-mode and also in part because the battles are so darn short. Most players are just doing their own thing in the brief chaos MM battles have become. Any "team-work" you see from things like hornet-OD is incidental - they have no choice. And maybe you play in groups where team-work is more prevalent. From time to time there is genuine team-work. But from my observations that is the exception and not the rule.

    Never thought of this but I agree. They don't put any healing missions in the game, so Isida healing should qualify for this mission. Some might say it's too easy. Well how hard is camping with long-range turrets like shaft... or even magnum hiding in it's base...

    Sure players can complete the mission in a week - but they often ignore the battle-mode they are in and selfishly concentrate on this one mission at the expense of team-mates. I'm not a mult. I don't enter battles with the sole purpose of finishing a mission. Of course that's one of my reasons for entering the battle - but - players also need to pay attention to the team object. To do it properly (without multing) would require me to play a lot of TDM (which I dont really like). And if I have other missions to do then spending all that time in TDM is counter-productive.

    Don't like shaft or Rail - and Scout is such a cheesy (broken) augment. Smoky may not get same kills as some, but with Incendiary equipped it does a lot of damage - which is the mission. It's the Defender drones - does not matter what weapon you use - the drones reduce your damage by a lot so you have to work a lot harder. 4 out of 5 enemies in Legend battles have a drone equipped. And many of those drones are Defender.
