    mid-battle? I might leave early if... I get placed on defender side but have a cap-flags mission or... my team is doing nothing - so why waste my time. Mid-way though ... was there maybe a couple of those ridiculous Gauss-EMPs?

    Well I hope not since that's Hornet's primary OD function. But why include it at all? It's like Hopper having the stun effect that Hunter has. Don't even try to suggest hopper is not OP...

    Are the Devs nuts? Adding AP to another OD (along with freezing and damage) is just ridiculous. Another reason to drop out of battles. Do you people actually want players to stay in this game?

    I did it on Dusseldorf with Hunter-Ricco(plasma-torch) & Defender (of course). First try I was 5m short. And yes, with 16 vs 16 it is much harder. But not quite so bad on the super-large map because defenders are (usually) spread out more. It's basically impossible on the medium maps unless you run with Hopper - the OD smooths the way.
  10. Currently? No. Misses, does splash damage (actually killed me once) and also lays a mine. Proposed? Sounds more reasonable.
  11. You mean no time limit? Heck no. Why would they even try to hit a target then? A turret firing a mine that misses, should not get to place a mine AND have splash damage. Is the shot HE? Or is it a mine? Can't have both - makes no sense at all.

    Yes. Which is why they need to change it. Keeping status quo because "we suffered too" is a poor strategy. It's dumb for players to be placed in battles with rank-ranges that wide. Players will get frustrated and just quit the game. Another reason why we keep losing players and MM gets even worse.

    Maximum rank limit? They pretty much do this now. Have you looked further down? A Lt. General would still be playing Legends. That's too far. Or a Brigadier playing Gismo. 7 ranks higher with access (and time) to upgrade mk7s.

    Maybe - but by that rank they should have figured something out. Especially the Legend. Would not want either of them on my team.

    Well, with 8 players on a team, players have < 50% of top-3 don't they? That's what math says anyway...
  16. But without the drones those maps would not be nearly as annoying. I loved playing those maps back when we had the Map-list. 8 vs 8 was fine. Could actually play the battle mode. Now it's just TDM.

    There is so much wrong with that. I'd like to highlight the Major General with a GS of 2814. What a mult... Even the legend with GS ~ 5500. What are these people thinking?

    Don't want missions for this in MM. Already have some I don't like, adding another would be ? Besides, there's not enough players to support another battle mode. Heck, we need to ditch at least one (assault) from MM.

  20. Wasn't talking about speedups - for MUs. Was talking about buying mk1+mk2+mk3+mk4+mk5 consecutively on same sale. If you mean adding MUs... each one in mk-system gives you less of a bonus, BUT - each MU costs less as well. Except for mk7, which is exact same thing as MU-ing m3s. It made sense to MU an m1 or m2 item because there was a long time before you'd rank up to buy the next level. Does not make much sense to MU mk1-mk5. You will reach the rank to upgrade through next mk-level much quicker than under old system.

    Since Splash turrets and Rail are the only turrets that can do this, of course it favours them. Giving out bonuses that only specific turrets have a chance of collecting IS favouratism, and, unfair.

    TX had announcements (and maybe bonus points?) for consecutive kills. But not multiple kills with one shot. Giving a bonus for that would favour specific turrets as some can't accomplish this. We don't need more incentives for Gauss in the game, do we?
  23. So you couldn't parse out the relevant points? Let me get this straight... you don't like mk-system because of skins, shot effects and nostalgia? Skins and shot effects which are to be addressed with HTML5 with FLASH gone... And nostalgia for a game that is over 10 years old. What game that is 10 years old never made cosmetic changes? And that's all you have?

    Yeah, but that mode is broken. There's a 50/50 chance you get placed on defender. And that's why many players jump ship shortly after the battle starts.
