Thank you for your answer. I'm not particularly attached to any map (other than Future and Sandbox), but I normally play Future, Sandbox, Kungur, Forest, Chernobyl, or Death Track. My main concern with Isida is that, in my experience, when you get a bad team (which is more often than I'd like to) it stinks. Maybe it's changed with the new tweak, though. I suppose I should also say that, whichever kit I get, I intend to use the turret as a secondary weapon. I've got a Smoky M1 upgraded all the way to 50/50, so most of the times I will probably stick it onto the Hornet M2 and rock and roll.

Alright, let me try it a second time. I'm at Warrant Officer 3 and I had planned to buy Stinger as soon as I reached Warrant Officer 4. However, I'm mildly interested on Tornado. Should I buy Stinger or Tornado? Which one will be more fun/help for my teammates?

Hi fellows, I'm one rank away from unlocking Stinger and I'm torn between getting Stinger or waiting one more rank and get Tornado. I'd like your help answering the following questions: What protection module comes with each kit? (I tried looking it up, but I couldn't find it anywhere) Which kit is going to be more helpful for my teammates? Which kit am I going to have the most fun with? Honestly, I kinda like Isida, it's fun to play. My main issue is that it seems to me that it is only fun to play when you've got a good team. Otherwise it's really frustrating. Also, I don't particularly like being target number 1 all the time, especially when it's me against snipers. I've never player Railgun, I suppose I could create an alternate account and try it. I'm mildly interested on trying that Hornet-Railgun format out, though. However, the kit is like 40,000 crystals more expensive, and I gather that Railgun M2 is a bit overpriced (as it's not much better than M1). So, what do you guys recommend?

On the other hand, those who buy supplies have a legitimate reason to be concerned. It seems to me that if this were to be implemented, the value of supplies would decrease. I would hate to buy the 1,500 kit and not be able to give a good use to so many supplies. However, I do believe that this system would be good for Tanki. People seem to be stuck in the either/or with respect to supplies. Either you play drug wars or you go to drug-free battles. I am the voice of somebody caught in the middle. I do like supplies, I think that they are fun. But I nether can nor wish to keep up with drug wars. I think that supplies are fun when people use them sparingly, but when it comes to having every supply active all the time, I find it pointless. Tanki might as well double all the parameters of all the tanks and do away with the supplies. I'm also a casual player. Sometimes, I'll have a couple of weeks when I can play Tanki more than usual, and then I'll buy a ProPass and do no supply battles, which are also fun. But most of the time, a ProPass is not really worth it for the amount of time that I play. This system allows me to play in battles with a moderate use of supplies, I guess. Now, in order to solve the problem with people who want to either use as many supplies as they can or not use any at all, I think that it would be cool to have ProBattle settings for that. We've already got the "no supplies" and "no pick-ups" options, why not add a "no cool-downs" option? This way, non-Pro battles would have a somewhat moderate use of supplies while those who want more or less could conveniently go to a ProBattle.

Patch Update #441 - Changes to Isida, Hammer and Shaft, and other changes
Pink_Legacy replied to theFiringHand in News Archive
I'm actually quite happy with this update. It was time they got rid of self-healing, it was just a joke, and I appreciate isida having a better DPS. I just hope that five seconds isn't too short. I really like the idea of less pellets and having them riccochet. It might still be overpowered because, as others have said, the main issue is its damage, but I think its new gameplay might be interesting. I've got mixed feelings on shaft. On the one hand, the sniping mode will be more powerful. On the other hand, shaft users might stop focusing especially on light hulls and go for medium hulls as well, which is good for me. I also like that the damage of its arcade mode is reduced at long distance. Overall, I'm quite chuffed with the changes. I hope that they work out all right. -
Hey, you've forgotten the option "There are no good Firebird/Wasp battles."

You are mixing apples and pears. Isida's nerf has nothing to do with the status of the supplies. You might have seen that I was answering somebody who said that Repair Kits and Mines are the only supplies that should be left. I said that, if we are to remove supplies, I'd rather go for repair kit, which is far from "I definitely want repair kits to be removed." If a wasp pulls off a repair kit, it will take two more shots to kill, if a mammoth does it, it will take another dozen shots to kill it. Here's the difference. Also, before saying that other people's arguments are "FUTILE," you might want to check that you're actually adding something to the topic.- 2,786 replies

That's absolutely right. Sabotage is against the rules.

Patch Update #439 - Balance Changes, New Alterations and Bug Fixes
Pink_Legacy replied to theFiringHand in News Archive
Wait, is there any tradeoff for adding splash damage to twins or is it just a way to make it even more overpowered? -
It's called playing dirty. Maybe it's not the most honourable way to play, but it is according to the rules.

Funnily enough, Repair Kit is the only supply that I'd do away with. A tank is still killable with all the other supplies on, but Repair Kits just make Mammoths immortal.- 2,786 replies

Wow, I tried playing a few DMs with isida and it's completely useless.
-
Hey, that would be only slightly more powerful than the old Vulcan.
-
In my opinion, the greatest strength of smoky is its versatility. It does well in a wider range of situations than most other turrets but it doesn't really excel in any of them. This is why many people choose it and why developers keep nerfing it, because they can't understand the difference between "versatile" and "overpowered."

500k crystals for paint, which doesnt offer anything but only look?
Pink_Legacy replied to Room418 in Archive
Funnily enough, I find that the most nice-looking paints cost below 10.000. -
Hey, that would be awesome. A turret that heals the enemy team en masse and damages your team. The ultimate saboteur turret.
-
When they introduced Hammer, its impact force was brutal and saboteurs used it to flip their own teammates, which is why they reduced its impact force, if I recall correctly.
-
Buy a ProPass and do a 1 vs 1 with a friend, it's easier to capture flags.
-
Wait, can you turn other turrets? I'd always thought it was a hack.
-
Oh, I think you missed a sarcasm flag, dear sir/lady.
