They want you to buy m3 xp/bp, and not just continue with the m2 combo, thats the reason m2 is weak against m3.

On a positive now, hopefully finish first and flag missions will come up less often now with crystal missions. Fingers crossed, they dont ask us to make more than 250 crystals a day in non-pro battles. It takes me 2 full games sometimes to get 250 crystals.

Smoky needs a buff. Higher damage per shot. Right now it loses to just about every turret in a 1 vs 1 situation. Rail and thunder have higher damage per shot, so if they trade shots (ie thunder/rail shoots and hides immediately until next reload), smoky loses always. Vulcan and ricochet have faster time to kill than smoky.

So new missions are to earn fixed number of crystals in battle. Big dislike. We will just have to spend more time in non-pro battles, and waste more supplies.

I face this problem a lot too. Field Marshals and commanders are able to join when I click battle button and new battles are created. I check 5 to 6 servers, and finally settle down to complete missions in which Marshals are highest rank. It takes way too long and a lot of supplies to just 250xp in battles. Often it takes me more than 15 minutes (1 battle) to get just 250xp, because they alerady have m3+ equipment + protection against the turrets I have. Really unfair on low and mid rankers.

Wait for june sale, rank up, get thunder m2 and medium hull m2 (hunter / dictator). Save those crystals, no more MU's on either hull or turret, and you will get a good m2 combo in almost all maps.

I had 2 magnums on my team in Brest CTF and I'll tell you what they do: They don't try to take enemy flag. They just sit on top of roof having fun shooting around. They do not defend the flag. They just try to shoot random enemies, and mostly miss. There are some maps like Noise CTF, or Rio CTF where they are okay, but only as supporters.

Dont buy alteration. You need to save for higher equipment hull and turret. If self damage irritates you, buy rail or smoky. Infact thunder with self damage is not very bad. You just need to be aware of where your enemies are, and keep a safe distance away from them. Focus on driving back and shooting at the same time.

Look for you favourite product kit on the wiki page, go to garage, buy the items separately, you have your m2 kit. MU to m3, and you have an m3 kit. Simple.

And they want lower ranks to buy crystals from shop and full MU their equipment so that they can beat high rankers. Its business, providing more and more incentives to buy from them.

Mr. Cedric, before closing this thread, please convey to the developers to reduce the brackets by 2 or 3 ranks from each side, and make the pro pass cheaper. Drug battles are not fun for most of us. For the past week, I have been searching everyday on 6 to 7 servers where I am highest rank in battle, but haven't been able to find any. Mostly m1s join my team, and m3/m4s join other team, and the the battle is one-sided, not fun.

Can we have cheaper pro passes from next update? SInce we cant do missions in them, will it hurt the "economy" if their prices get reduced by 50%?

ok, northerner is a great kit if you really want to buy a kit and play on large maps.

In low ranks, you can finish first with only one half of twins turret working. In high ranks even m1 shaft is better than m2 magnum.

Nice idea, but we can still make out from the control points score or flag difference or kill difference in TDMs which is the better team. They are probably hoping that match making will fix all this. Lets see. But finishing first will be difficult then. Today I battled against commanders in TDM, my K/D was like 0.15, but I managed to finish first since nobody wanted to join my team. Mission accomplished, although not a great battle.

But you might want to choose one of them since enemy may have protection against one but not the other turret. Anyways, I don't think any of those 4 alterations are worth it.

ah but in small maps there are more druggers, and they dominate the battle easily, since it is hard to hide from them. No doubt smoky m2 is better, but for me the wait was too long, I couldn't play until Colonel with m1's. Anyways, I bought rail m2 not thunder m2, but thunder m2 can be used on more maps, so I recommend it. It can be MUd a bit.

Buy thunder m2, dictator m2 in june sale. You can replace dictator by hunter if you want. Don't buy any more m1s, and dont MU them. You will need about 70k more though. Complete the mission chains, and try to get those crystals. Do not buy m2 kits, I always say it is easier to rank up and buy stuff in sales.

We can still talk of workarounds to these updates. I was very happy with fire-wasp battles on this weekend giveaway, where people dont use supplies or protection in regular battles. So Tanki Online becomes Fire-Wasp online! It would be nice to have one server permanently dedicated to fire-wasp, and completion of missions, especially finish first ones. They give me a lot of trouble, because there are none with my rank as highest, and when I click battle button, field marshals and commanders are also able to join with their m4s, with ~48% protection against my rail, which is my only medium-long range weapon.

All magnums typically always finish at the bottom of the score table. Never seen a matchwinning magnum till now (in high ranks). They are usually just a burden on their team. They work decently on noise ctf, but I would say this is the worst turret in the garage right now.

I would say thunder m2 because smoky m2 unlocks too late, and you will need m2 medium-long range weapon earlier

So that people actually buy m3 xp/bp, otherwise very few would buy the combo, and play with m2's if they were equally good. Also, what is the point of an alteration to increase damage, if you're giving the hulls protection against rail? Surely the 2 would cancel each other out - more damage and more protection.
