Do you want protection against shaft, or are you a regular shaft user and looking for protection modules so that you can be more effective at sniping? Or both?

Only high calibre is needed with rail, the rest are not good.

Better go for titan twins or titan smoky kit.

You forget the 50% sale on turrets, and 40% on hulls. Simoom is definitely not worth it, if you can wait for sale and rank up.

I bought it and don't like it. It is a short range weapon, and sometime you have noobs in your team with wasp m0 or m1, and you waste your charge in healing them. Better buy something for long range.

Was that in a 15 minute non-pro battle? Were you teaming? If yes, with how many players? Unbelievable :o

They rotate, but randomly. I predict next week m3 kits will be: Sniper, Redneck, Vandal

I turned it down because I had only ~30 DD left. I would never buy supplies with crystals, never pay these devs money for the drug kit, because ruined a good game with their unrequired for updates, and would never be dominated in drug battles. So I would rather sit out and not do the 250 kill missions, than get 250 kills in 6 hours with 500 deaths, and acquire hatred towards the persistent druggers.

Maybe not in other modes, but definitely in Control Points, this zero supply leads to endless spawn killing by the stronger team. Weak teams become even weaker with this.

Math is incorrect :P Its 13C3 = 13 * 12 * 11 / 6 = 26 * 11 = 286 I think modules are fine the way they are. Yes you can't have protection against the turrets you want, but the others can't too, so its fair.

I have 100+ hours with mammoth shaft, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Better get thunder-titan. Shaft has a very long reload, and if 2 enemies attack you, you're dead. With thunder you still have a chance. Plus the low damage per second means you rarely win one vs one confrontation if the enemy surprises you.

Nice, it took me 2 hours with rail in DM, full drugged up. Maybe shaft isn't that bad, especially for Daily Missioners like me, who try to get all missions done.

Congrats. :) How much time does it take to get 250 kills missions done with shaft?

It is good for those shafts who don't like camping that much, and try to take the control points or act as midfielders in team matches.

I've been playing DM a lot in the past few days to get the 250 kill missions sone, and I finish first 90% of the times with rail + high calibre + DD. I play on the largest of maps - Massacre, Osa, Deathtrack, Kungur, Esplanade etc., and always manage around 40 to 50 kills atleast. I can make 60+ kills in a 15 minute game if I can find a friendly rail to team up with. You just need to use a few repair kits to protect your camping position from any intruders, and place mines all around it. I don't use DA often, because it puts a long cooldown on DD. People have rail protection, but despite that, it is easy to get kills as almost nobody is ever full health in DM for long. You can sometimes get 2 or 3 kills in one shot. That is a lot of fun, 3 people fighting amongst themselves, and a fourth guy gets them all!

You already have Prodigi, it is a great module. Its okay to be without fire protection, when you see a firebird approaching, just try to use DD to kill it, or place a mine and use speed boost to move back. I play on medium to large maps, and they don't give me much trouble. Just save for the kit, and MUs.

Thats why I feel micro upgrades are a watse of crystals, they increase your damage by around 10%, but DD increases by 100%.

Thanks. I guess Paladin is cheap because of the module. It offers no protection against long range turrets. Rail can one-shot medium hulls with DD + high calibre ammo, so protection from rail is a must. Thunder can 2 shot medium hulls with DD, so thunder protection is also a must. Raiden is a bit cheap because thunder is weak at m3 because of protection modules.

Maybe he is dropping them from his alt account in private 1 vs 1 battles. He has just 401 xp this week, so obviously he is not playing regular battles.

3 out of last 4 days I have got 250 kill missions :/ Reward was good, so I did them, but I hope I don't get any more. Just 30 double damage left now. I'm happy I bought the high calibre ammo a few months back, or else it would have taken forever. There should be a rule to not give more than 2 of these 250 kill missions in a week.

My plan is to get Paladin and then the module which comes in Raiden Kit separately, because the module unlocks 1 rank below Marshal. I prefer Smoky m3 to Thunder m3 because people have heavy protection against Thunder. Fewer people have smoky protection.
