Don't know if this'll be accepted or mean anything, but - Most score in a battle with 0 stars.
-
You already can. If you have knowledge of the micro-missions that mobile players receive in battles and the star distributions per team at the end of a battle, you can observe a particular player(s) and see whether or not they will obtain 2 stars or 3 in a battle. Have you never seen someone in first place obtain 2 stars?
-
Mobile players are capable of doing well in battles y'know.
-
When you said "better", how loosely did you want that word to be interpreted? A large chunk of the initial damage of an Incendiary Band Vulcan is direct damage from the projectiles. Mk8 Vulcan has almost triple the DPS of Mk1. Mk8 has a faster firing rate, and therefore faster heating rate. An Mk1 Incendiary Band Vulcan cannot be better than an Mk8 Incendiary Band Vulcan the same way an Mk1 Electromagnetic Salvo cannot be better than an Mk8 Electromagnetic Salvo. Direct damage and firing rate are important.
-
Nothing at Mk1 is better than itself at Mk7.

In the update of 20th December, 2019, the player is always shown to be on the blue team in PC HTML5.

Yet many people still think its DPS is too high, which surprises me.

He's a little stuck.

In theory. But in practise, it was horribly broken on everything and Legend battles were filled with Vulcans. Hornet Vulcan was the worst offender but it was horribly strong on everything else as well. Ignoring all external factors such as Vulcan augments and Heat Resistance/Immunity, the current 800 DPS Vulcan is balanced.
-
1,000 DPS Vulcan was not balanced.
-
Same.

No, that encourages close range gameplay. Bad splash damage distribution allows you to nuke players at melee range whilst doing very little damage to yourself. The augment encourages direct hits. If you want splash damage, use something with less accuracy than Harpoon, in the form of the other augments. You want accuracy, use Harpoon. You want splash damage, use the other augments.
-
The Harpoon augment for Magnum sometimes deals 50% of the damage it was supposed to be doing for a direct hit. For example, if I were supposed to deal 1,600 damage to a particular player, instead, I deal 800 damage.

Welcome to the dark side. ?

To put the Harpoon nerf into perspective, here are two videos showcasing the splash damage before and after the nerf. Before: After:

If you have nothing else to micro-upgrade, then sure.

I would say Driver but unfortunately the hulls that complement Driver the most are the hulls you use the least. :( Still, it can be a good alternative to Defender and Booster if you run out of supplies.

category Ideas for Hulls and Overdrives!
TheCongoSpider replied to Ilia.ArchangeI in Ideas and Suggestions
This is Hopper's retention period in action, and at this point, it is most certainly intended. And if you didn't know or couldn't tell, every hull except Titan and Wasp has a retention period. The shortest being Ares and Dictator, while the longest being Hornet and Hopper. I do agree with you that Hopper and Hornet's retention periods need to be toned down or removed. -
Whilst recreating it to see what exactly causes it...I can't tell. After an hour of recreating, I narrowed it down to it being dependant on what obstacle is in front of me at the moment of the projectile being fired. With each individual test came different results. Both the spawn position of the visual ball and the direction it was flying toward varied.

What Is Your Opinion About the Current State of Tanki Online?
TheCongoSpider replied to Maf in Game Discussion
Keep in mind that I said any surface. This includes the ground. If you happen to Ricochet the projectile off of the ground before hitting the target, they will be inflicted with the status. Of course, you are the player with the augment at hand and from your reply, have used it tons. If what I said above was not the case, are you able to send any video proof of this happening? -
What Is Your Opinion About the Current State of Tanki Online?
TheCongoSpider replied to Maf in Game Discussion
Any projectile that ricochets off of a surface and hits an enemy will apply the AP status effect to them for 2 seconds. -
I know. But the thing is I can't see exactly where the real ball is and what trajectory it is on. I randomly self-destruct due to the ball eventually colliding with the floor. Even when I'm practically at the same speed when activating, sometimes it explodes earlier than I expected, sometimes it explodes later than I expected. Point is, I want to see where my ball is to know when to fall back. It's been like this ever since Ares was released.
-
I don't know exactly what the Patch Note means about Ares shooting a "blank" shot. Maybe they're talking about the plasma ball spawning out of sight of the Ares making it look like nothing was shot. If so, then it still has not been fixed.
-
The sniping shot has no damage fall off, hence it does not have a minimum and maximum damage range (in metres).

Electromagnetic Salvo was the best thing to happen to Tanki in 2020.
