  2. I know what's going on, Tanki wants to scare us with drones into accepting and asking for Overdrives instead. Genius.
  3. Looks like no one is impressed with drones. I think it's a bad idea. The new module system will likely be expensive and MM will require players to have more equipment than one combo. With those two updates non buyers will likely be unable to afford the drone and battery system even with the new "slower EXP"
  4. I'm not sure about the module update as planned. 8 vs 8 sound good. Battle fund distribution and slower EXP sound good, the later would help us afford the new module system. I don't like the concept of drones, from what they do to how they float on our screens and because we have'd another system to spend on. Let's see what happens with MM. Many have learned to quit one sided battles, let's see if new fund distribution helps with that. Let's see what happens with Jug.

    I hope not, I'm short on crystals because of previous sales and because I'm not opening containers in my two main accounts. It would be better if it's next week. Keep in mind that after Tanki B Day we'll have drought of celebrations until September.

    What would you like to happen in regards to the XT issue? Do you want Tanki to keep XTs the way they are now forever? And now about Overdrives, maybe it's not ready to be implemented or maybe they have changed their minds about them. Personally I think Overdrives are bad idea for the game. Wouldn't you want Tanki implement only good updates and not bad ones even if that means delays, or shelving of projects?

    Good point. But 40% would be for only 1 turret if players choose to concentrate all 40% in one protection. However, if that is too much there could be a limit of 10% for each protection, forcing the 40% to be divided on all 4 protections. The system could have the same value as today's system, the same value as the planned system, or any other value. I'm thinking the system could cost half of today's system, that would mean like owning 30 Triple Modules. The only differences of my idea with the planned update are: Triple vs Quadruple Buy, upgrade and MU 14 Single Modules vs Micro Upgrading one Module Being able to use any protections you have vs being able to use any protections available and being able to adjust the resistance values of those protections, within the limits

    Different overdrives, each for an specífic hull, is a bad idea for the game.

    I don't know what to make of the idea of drones. Whatever it is I think they should be free at least in the beginning so if they don't help the game they get removed easily. It would be good if Drones replace Overdrive/s. As a replacement of Overdrive we could get random items every 2 minutes and use them with Shift. Something like this would add new things to the game. One item could be a Shield, another could be teleportation gates. And the drones would be as an explanation. Those that spent on XTs and non XTs could be compensate with credits for other XT skins or other equipment. Yes they are losing, but they are also getting a better system, and the game is getting better this way, they should let the game move forward.

    Multing does happen, yesterday there was a wasp/isida in my team doing nothing, not for two minutes and then being removed for inactivity, I saw that mult since I joined at minute 7 until the end. Today in ASL, I saw a mult hiding somewhere with one of the flags. Supply mission mults exist too, I can't believe I have to explain this, you know they are only doing pick up supply missions when for example they just got Overdrive from someone but continue looking and grabbing supply drops and not fighting. Some multings are easy, just open another tab for your alt, low rank account is best, then plant it in the other team, when others see a low rank in that team many will prefer to join your team, mostly noobs will be joining that team, and It's okay if your alt is removed from battle due to inactivity, the damage is already done. This I haven't witnessed, because that would mean watching the multer do that in person. Cheaters are smart in what they do, I'm pretty sure many of them do this, so I don't think I'm giving them new ideas. MM could help, but if Tanki doesn't balance battles and remove Overdrive, battles will be the same as today, players will be quiting losing teams and for good reasons, while Tanki keeps sending more players to the losing team. Returning to 5 flags and 5 scores would help the suffering by ending those one sided battles soon.

    The announcement of the planned update hasn't mentioned the ability to change protections during battles. If it does include that ability we'll need to be changing turrets and protections all the time. If it doesn't include that ability then we'll see that issue in PRO battles. The system has to work for regular and PRO battles as well. Players that only have one turret will be negatively affected either way. However, a quad module system with 40% protections would make these issue less impactful because of the lesser protection but covering more turrets.

    Yes, for reset ideas like the one of Maf and the first one of mine. Could be a cooldown period of hours or days. The reason why is to prevent players from changing the protections in their modules before joining battles to protect themselves from turrets the enemy could potentially use. Imagine a Sandbox battle where the lead player in one team has Vulcan, Rico and Fire, another player that wants to join the other team can see that in the first payer's profile and select the protections against those 3 turrets. The planned idea would also be affected by this issue, but you can't use a cooldown in that system of only one mother module. The more I think about it the more I believe the planned idea is not good if you can't change protections during battle and if the system is not cheap enough to be affordable for non buyers, because now we'll be working with 14 modules instead of working with 4 or 5.

    For the reset ideas, there could be a cool down period before another reset. That way players are not constantly changing their module setups, something they could do even before joining battles after checking profiles.

    I just thought of another problem with the planned update and my second quad module idea. Problem: Players would need to constantly be changing protections one by one all 3 or 4 of them when they join battles depending of the map Matchmaking sends them to and other things. Solution: Have a set of presets for easy changing.

    I'm pretty sure they can address that in a balance update to balance turrets and alterations, which I think is also coming soon. But you bring a good point, that's that devs use simple 50% to simplify the balance making process. If that is the case and 40% would be hard to manage in balance making then my idea can be converted to a Triple system.

    Those rewards are low, but don't worry, maybe they are testing a simplified version of rewards for better analysis. For example, the could test the same rewards with low rank accounts. I don't think so. The opposite number of 40 in terms of percentage is 60, and 60% damage is a good amount more than 50%. Also keep in mind that everyone would be affected the same.

    Maybe Tanki wants our main source of income to be the 4 containers of Mission Chains, then missions themselves, and battles would be to complete missions and maybe have some fun even if you lose. But the problem I see then is with Crystal Missions, those would be harder to complete. Each protection will be limited to 50% in the planned update, and in my module idea to 40%.

    The total protection is about the same, today's M3+ have 150% total protection, my idea is for 160%. But the same idea can be used to make it a Triple module system, I said 'most expensive' just as a comparison with the lower MU steps. Devs can decide the overall value of the system or adjust it later. My idea is for non buyers to be able to afford from 80 to 120 % in a reasonable time, which would be enough to have 2 - 3 40% protections. If you think about it Legends that today have 4 or 5 M3 modules are not protecting themselves from 3 turrets all the time because the combinations they have doesn't allow them.
