But it's their crystals. To be clear, I'm suggesting refunds because I'd like to see a better system of 14 single modules from which we can pick 3 (or 4) at any moment, even during battles. The planned update I think will break all our modules into single modules from which we can create new triple module however we want. This would be messy, those that have multiple modules will have 20 or more single modules to drag on their screens and waste time in their garages. My idea is simple: get 14 modules and click 3 (or 4) of them for your protection, and MU Magnum protection.

With the refunds players would have to buy the new 14 modules which have to be expensive. That way Tanki can balance the economy of this change.
-
Refunds will be better: It would allow Tanki to implement a better new module system without worrying about conversion or complexities. All modules we have would get a value based on type, modification and MUs. Refunds would be 50% because many buy and upgrade during discount days with discounts up to 50%.

Matchmaking with a clan or friends in one team and random players in the other team will not be good. There should be limits and friends shouldn't be sent to opposing teams in the same battle, it would allow multing by friend. Clans can fight other clans in PRO battles.

Maybe the idea is that you can create modules out of your 12 protections, meaning you can create 4 triple modules out of your 12 protections. The problem is with players that have overlapping protections against turrets, will they get 2 or more protections for Thunder if they have more that 1 module with Thunder protection for example? That seems unfair to those that invested in many modules.
-
A refund is economically possible and it would not affect economic balance because, I think, each (single) module will be as expensive as a hull or turret and we would need 14 to spend our refund in. Your conversion idea is not good because many have modules that overlap with protections, for example in my big account I have two modules with Rail, two with Thunder and two with Isida, all with about 28% protection; will I get 56% protection from those modules? Of course not. #refundsplease

The whole system will change. Current modules can be converted in one way or another, or there could be refund. I'd prefer refunds on all our modules, at least 50% refund, that way we can buy any (single) module we want. With refunds many would be able to buy modules depending on the current situation on the game balance, meaning many would buy Magnum protection, and that'll be fair.

The planned change to modules seem confusing and convoluted. I think it should be simpler, like my idea where you have 3 (or 4) modules slots where you can use and change any of the 14 single modules, even during battles. No need to create modules, just change you protection. 4 slots would be better, in my opinion, with modules having a maximum of 40 % protection each. And how are you planning to convert the modules players have today to the new system? Or, will there be refunds? Luckily I didn't get any modules in my main small account... :P

Not yet, it starts in about 13 hours. You can use this website to check different time zones and UTC: http://everytimezone.com Slide the green marker to UTC 9:00PM May 18

Yes, but many have trouble with UTC. And I think this may help. I found this website where we can check different time zones easily: http://everytimezone.com

No, I can't edit first post over and over forever. But if someone wants to do that, then I can pass the ownership of the topic to that person. What I would like is for forum users to contribute. For example when I see the Test Server Watch topic, I don't go the first post I go check the last posts where I see others reporting that it's either OPEN or CLOSED.

Crazy Weekend has STARTED. EDIT: mods can close or delete this topic.
-
In about 20 hours.
-
You're correct. Crazy Weekend starts at 00:00 MSK May 19 and ends at 23:59 MSK May 20. That is if you want to use Moscow time, like in your phone's World Clock.
-
21:00 UTC May 18 is 12:00 Moscow May 19. That means if you add the Moscow time in your phone's World Clock or use website using that time, Crazy Weekend is May 19 and 20 in Moscow time.

Is an automated or easier analysis of container rewards possible?
r_Issimo2 replied to r_Issimo2 in Is an automated or easier analysis of container rewards possible? Archive
As you know LittleWillie was doing an analysis of container reward probabilities, but apparently he stopped doing the reports. It looks like it's tedious, to be collecting dozens of info from replies and doing the rest. It first I though doing analysis was not needed because everyone will be getting the same rewards with likely the same probabilities. Now with more paints added to containers, I think we need to continue the analysis to see how and if the probabilities are changing and maybe devaluing container rewards if we take paints out of the equation. I asked Nives a question about probabilities and he said he's unable to answer specifics about how the container system works. So my question is, can we do analysis easier, maybe even better and automated if possible? -
I guess I'm basically asking how the container system works: Do the system chooses your reward from the whole pool of items? Or does it first decide which type of reward you're getting, in this case a paint, and then chooses a paint from that paint pool?

Does this container update affect the probabilities of getting other stuff?

Thanks for partially agreeing with me. I would like for 0 degrees to stay, I think it gives players more shooting possibilities when shooting in maps like Noise. Maybe a slower charge would prevent players from doing 100% charged shots to tanks in close range, and shorter reloads could compensate that small nerf. Slower charge would also help those that have power and angles figured out but have a hard time controlling the shots.
-
You're not being serious. You said: Now you say that at 0% you don't even fire. Then what about 10%, will it cause 10% damage? :D I would agree with 0% but that option should actually be removed, instead all shots would start with 10% charge, that means a quick tap of the spacebar would fire at 10% power, and that would mean 50% damages and 50% less splash radius. 100% power should cover the distance of the longest map at the appropriate angle. Angles should remain from 0 to 90 degrees. 10% = 50% damage ... 100% = 100% damage
-
Sorry, didn't see, but mine is better anyway. :P ;) :) You forgot about 0% power, will those shots get 0% damage?
-
What if power (0-100%) dictates damage and splash radius? If you shoot at 0% you'd cause 50% damages with half the splash radius, and if 100% it would be the same damage as today, with maybe a little more splash radius. To compensate, a little, reloads would be faster after a 0% shot, I say about 25% faster. Remember that you can shot anywhere with 100%, even yourself, just aim 90 degrees and shoot at 100% and wait for the 100% damage.
