    You are by far one of the more realistic mods for sure. ...and it is appreciated rather than the constant sugar coat most of the staff employs. And, you are mostly right about my post not really being exactly pinpointed towards the specific topic, but I do think that it was close enough to not be hidden in "complaints". Posts that are WAY WAY farther off topic are left in the higher traffic threads with no action from the mods while harsher posts are relegated to more obscure threads. Anyway, you (and Spy) are not the problematic "OMG! I just love this!!!!" mods. Thanks for taking the time to respond to my post, I appreciate that you appreciate my and other players frustration with the destruction of Tanki. I loved this game and would have spent a fortune on if if it hadn't been so corrupted over the last couple of years, but I'm pretty much done with Tanki...just the twitch left through an occasional peek at the forum.

    Well said. I think that Tanki's buyer pool may be shrinking so dramatically that only the big fish and whales are left, not many casual buyers of a Euro or two anymore. So Tanki starts to charge what the traffic will bare...just look at this most recent update! It all smacks of the "end days" for Tanki...desperation and squeezing the very last drop. A plethora of new and constantly changing augments, new hulls/turrets, all for the last of the buyers. How many new turrets, hulls, augments in the last year? And all at increasing prices. Tanki's strangle tactics are to wring as much as possilble before they go the way of Pong It's so pleasant not playing Tanki anymore. No frustration or anger at the latest (or any) of the myriad of toxic updates implemented by the devs...I just don't care...it's great! Go ahead Tanki, continue to degrade the game play and update the game into oblivion. Maybe if enough players quit (cant be that many left at this low point) a decent, forward thinking company might acquire the corpse of Tanki and rejuvenate it to make it a playable game again. Greed on Tanki...

    What was WRONG with your post (like my post) was that you posted something negative about the withering Tanki where it would be seen by the majority of forum goers. They want as few players as possible to see well written posts that criticize Tanki and the tragedy that Tanki's greed has wrought upon game-play. So enter the moderators who's job it is to regurgitate the party line and try to counteract the constant "calling out" of Tanki's greed and foolishness. Look at the beginning of every single update topic....a hoard of positive comments from the staff, then the real comments which are mostly negative. Most readers of the forum read the newest threads in the ""News and Announcements" section, not "Complaints" so the moderators purge as much criticism as possible by "moving" them to the "appropriate" thread. It's just part of the propaganda. Rah...go Tanki go...you're the best....blah, lbah, blah

    It's so pleasant not playing Tanki anymore. No frustration or anger at the latest (or any) of the myriad of toxic updates implemented by the devs...I just don't care...it's great!   5. Same old Tanki crap...the nerf/buff cycle to keep the churn going. Got some equipment you like...it changed or it will soon change (whatever it is or was). Now game balance is up in the air again for the umteenth time. Players will need to BUY and MU the newest darling equipment that emerges from the update or be left sputtering and trying to keep up with the newest OP combo. The money machine grinds on...it just grinds on with fewer and fewer players since each one of these "updates" chases off another block of players to join the hundreds of thousands (maybe millions) of humans that can now say, "Oh yeah, Tanki? Yeah, I used to play that game back in the day!" ...Just my observations as an ex-Tanki devotee. First I've logged on in a couple of months...same old same old.

    The "NO DAMAGE" problem is still in game. It is slightly improved since I can join some battles now and do damage. I still have not done damage in any 14vs14 venue and the 12vs12 maps depend on the time of day I join a battle. Regardless of the slight improvement, all battles are horribly lagged due to overcrowding the maps. I would still like to know what value to players or to Tanki stuffing each map has, what is the benefit to players or to Tanki...who is served? ...neither as far as I can figure out. All I can see it do is lag battles and keep some players from playing due to not being able to do damage or control their tank properly. Why don't you fix this issue...it's really EASY...just stop overcrowding maps...done, quick fix. Overcrowding adds nothing to the game but detracts in many ways...longer queues because of less battles (slower turnover) and massive game destroying lag. Please please please pass this on to the devs again. I, and I'd guess quite a few less verbal players, would like to play Tanki again with their mid to higher rank accounts. Stop overcrowding maps.
  7. The way Tanki is currently, 10 minute battles are a burden and too time consuming. If implemented permanently, it will make me (and my guess, others) play the game even less. Even in the short time over the weekend, I noticed a large increase in players leaving battles before their conclusion. This created mostly lopsided battles or blowouts instead of more balanced competitions. I also experienced longer waiting times while queuing for a battle. Shorter battles are much better than 10 minutes battles. Please keep battle duration to 7 minutes.

    OK, well thank you for checking....I guess Tanki has decided everyone should know who is using a drone. They will sell more drones and MUs that way...when players see more and more drones use in the game, like Brutus, they themselves will start to think about equipping and MUing a drone of their own.

    The new redundant and obnoxious News pop-up that just appeared with today's restart not only is annoying but slows loading your lobby considerably. There is already a News pane (with catchy color videos that also slows loading) and a News button...what on earth makes you think we need a third automatic screen that must load completely before it can be clicked away so you can access the navigation menu? Work on the problems that plague the game like lag and no damage and stop wasting time in silly developments like this irritating third News outlet.

    I would venture a guess that you should contact cust support and tell them EXACTLY what you want to do. Like: I have two accounts 1. TankiGuy 2. Hero_the_dark I want Hero_the_dark to be re-named TankiGuy. My TankGuy account can be re-named anything like "r_TankiGuy##" or even deleted. I have enough Tankoins to buy a re-name pass in my current "Hero_the_dark" account. Can you make the switch for me? They may want you to buy a rename pass for both accounts unless you ask them to just delete one. Good luck...it should be a simpler process, but it's Tanki :) (also, this is just a guess on my part....I do not really know for sure)
  14. Increasing battle duration would have been great a year ago or so, but now it will degrade the game further if implemented permanently. Here's why: 1. Players will leave battles more frequently...the amount of turn-over will increase dramatically making almost all battles one sided...either big big wins or total defeats from players leaving...almost all blowouts. This is why it was changed to seven minutes in the first place...the devs must have very short memories. Players have a bit more tendency to "tough it out" in a battle that is short. In a 10 minute battle it is more advantageous for many to bail and try a new battle...especially if your team is losing. The team that completes the mode's objective first wins the entire battle 95% of the time in long battles...1st cap or goal wins. After the 1st completion many players will bail in a 10 minute battle 2. Almost all players joining a battle that is already in progress will bail as soon as they see their team is losing. Only passive players looking to finish "Complete a Mode" or "collect Boxes" missions will stay if they get inserted mid-game on a losing team. So an increase in passive players that do nothing for the team and prevent MM from placing active players...all producing blow-outs. 3. Tanki has devolved into a farming game for many because of overcrowded big map battles in the higher ranks. Most of us only play to complete missions, special missions, and challenges (many of us just daily missions). Increasing battle time by almost 40% will make it much more time consuming to complete missions and collect stars. I doubt anyone will enjoy spending more time to accomplish the same thing that can now be done in X amount of time. Observations: Remember most battles are actually about 6 minutes plus a bit by the time you spawn in, so a 10 minute battle almost doubles the amount of time in a each battle. If Tanki could fix the massive lag and the ongoing "NO DAMAGE" problem (a tiny bit improved) due to the overcrowding and large maps in the higher ranks, 10 minutes might have a small chance of working, but with the game-play being what it is now with the lag, no damage, long queues an overall unplayability, 10 minute battles will just make more players quit the game completely. The game is mostly ruined already anyway, so it really doesn't much matter what the devs do to foul it up further...trash is already trash. This used to be such a fun, social, and challenging game. Now, well...you know what it's like now. What a shame Tanki has been so abused.

    HELP! ...a question for any computer geeks out there

    I had a laptop that died, well the screen fried and it would have cost more to fix it than to buy a new computer. I had some files I wanted to keep and the guys at the computer repair sold me an external hard drive case and popped the laptops hard drive in it. I didn't need any of the files immediately so I just put it away in a drawer. That was a couple of years ago. Now I would like to retrieve some of those files on that hard drive in the external case. All the original Microsoft Win10 operating system files are still in place on the external hard drive along with my saved files. If I plug in that external hard drive through a USB connection, will the MS system files on the external drive interfere with my computers Win10 system files?...might they cause some sort of conflict? If I don't click on the MS system files on the external will my computer even see them? Can I delete any or all the system files from the external without my computer system files freaking out? I'm pretty sure I can just use the external like any other external drive and delete MS system files from it with impunity, but I'd like to get a second opinion..or a third, or tenth.

  19. So is this an option or will it be, or will it become, mandatory? It sounds like it is an option...I hope so since I do not use a smart phone. I also stay away from anything Google as much as is possible.
  20. Question: Are there any plans in the works to attract NEW players? ...either on Mobile or PC? Will Tanki implement advertising or some other sort of enrollment drive to generate new players to replace some of the tens of thousands that have been lost over the last few years? Observations (related to this question):
  21. Deathmatch = lazy programers ...no muss no fuss in creating a good event for the weekend....just plug in a pre-coded old mode, Deathmatch...done. Boring and insipid.
  22. When are we gonna get gifts back? I like gifts and they might be a slight source of revenue for Tanki. Are there plans to re-introduce gifts before the end of the year?
  23. Question: In what way does increased team size contribute to the quality of the game or the revenue Tanki receives from the game? In other words what do large team sizes like 14vs14 or even 10vs10 do for the player or Tanki itself?...what is the benefit of increased team size (what I would call overcrowding)?

Can anyone give me ANY reason what so ever that super large teams have some sort of benefit to anyone? Any reason at all? What does 14vs14 do for Tanki or for players? Anyone have any idea? I can give yo many good reasons overcrowding is an extremely ba idea an I have in the past. The worst problem is that overcrowding excludes many players from being able to do damage and therefore can't play. It causes massive lag, everything including loading is slower. It causes many many players to constantly abandon battles before their conclusion Tanki...please please please get rid of the idiotic overcrowding and go back to a reasonable number of players on each team.

    another Ultra Container question

    So after finding my UCs as "Old Ultra Containers" with your help, I now wonder about contents. 1. During some upcoming event that features UCs will my stash of UCs become non-old ultra containers or get restored to the point where they might contain whatever goodies the future event might be featuring? 2. If not, and the stay "Old Ultra Containers", will they maintain the chances of winning the specific goodies that were featured in the event in which they were aquired...like TO's B-Day? Or are the event specific goodies just removed from the possible rewards and the old UCs become a sort of generic version UC? The upshot of this is the real question: Is it more advantageous to open UCs before they become "Old Ultra Containers"...like while the generating event is still going on? Or does opening them at a later date still give you the same chance at acquiring the event generate goodies? I hope I'm explaining my question clearly enough. Can I get more cool stuff from opening UCs during an event or is holding them going to generate the same outcome? Thanks in advance (I did look in the Wiki and could find nothing regarding this)
