    Desperation to generate cash flow dictates that Tanki must keep increasing costs for established buyers by any means possible. They gotta keep getting the buyers to send in more money and so they offer inflated rewards at inflated prices to them and some gratuitous increases for Freebie players or there would be a great gnashing of teeth. The buyers that have been buying are most likely to pay more to get more and if Tanki loses a few buyers here and there because of higher costs, each buyer that does get battle pass pays for himself and one buyer that got away. But one niggling question: when will those few buyers that are still buying have almost everything they want? It all smacks of desperation. Tanki's a dyin' Zeke.

    Yes. I can use a lower rank account or a new account and everything works fine...perfect. I try to play with any of my several higher rank accounts and NO DAMAGE, lots of lag, overcrowded battles on big maps with many players leaving an joining, leaving and joining. It's not hard to see...join any battle, particularly in off hours and RGB, JUG, ASL, or even CTF. Don't play, but count the number of players that leave the battle and join the battle. I would estimate that every 28 player battle sees 40 to 50 players in total...sometimes more. Count them, you will be astounded. I believe that most of the players leaving are doing so because they can't do damage. Also in one of those 28 player battles usually 30% of the players that finish the battle have been passive players only clearing a "complete this mode" mission and have no score or almost no score. It boils down to 14 slots on a team and only about the top five are actually played....so in essence you've only got about a 5vs5 or 6vs6 match. Why cripple the game and exclude so many players from playing Tanki...what is gained by overcrowding the maps...either by Tanki itself or any group of players? I can see absolutely no advantage but certainty see tons of disadvantages.

    Six days of "No Damage" ? I try three or four times during the day and nothing. ? I'd really like to play Tanki, but I can't...thank the gods I haven't sent real money to this game in years. I wonder how many other buyers or possible buyers can't do any damage when they join these overcrowded big map lag battles?

    This is the third day in a row I have not been able to clear even one mission. I've tried four or five times each day in different periods of the day. Sometimes it only takes a couple of minutes to enter a battle and sometimes it takes much much longer, but in the three days I have never been able to do any damage...zero. I can create a new account and the game works fine. I enter battles quickly and can always do damage. It's just a problem with the overcrowding...too many players coming and going and just too many players on each team. Tanki coding just can't handle the strain of so much data in these overcrowded battles. Why? What function do huge maps with 28 players serve? What does the player base get out of it or what does Tanki get out of it? What possible advantage is there? I can certainly tell you the disadvantage...many players can't play the game any more. Why join a battle if you can't ever do damage?

    There are not enough players left for matchmaking to do any matchmaking. Click a mode and there ya go...whoever is in queue is in your battle. It looks like there might be one cut off point now. Rank1 to Rank20 and Rank5 to Legend. It's now very common place to see Rank20s fighting Rank2s or Rank3s. Rank6...yeah sure, you can fight a full blown Legend99 buyer with a GS of 9999. There is almost nothing left of Tanki.

    I don't think there are any "new" players any more...literally. I bet the game doesn't see 20 actual new players a week...if that many. There are low ranked and even new accounts, but they are made by players that are sick of the frustration in higher ranks. I can't use my higher rank accounts because of the lag and "No Damage", but I still want to play the game so what can I do but use low rank or new accounts until they rank high enough that they become unplayable also. I'm pretty sure we are in the end days for Tanki. I've predicted summer of 2022 for Tanki's closing date several times, but that might be getting moved closer to the end of this year the way things are going....what a shame.

    I can't for the life of me fathom what Tanki devs are thinking...it's truly baffling. It's like they are doing their utmost to sabotage their own game. By overcrowding the maps they must know they are putting pressure on their dime store server capacity. Since they must know this how can they not see that they are excluding a large portion of their sad and bedraggle minuscule player base??? It boggles the mind. So lots of players can't use their higher accounts any more...and for what advantage? What positive benefit does overcrowding and huge maps have for the game? How does packing the maps have any benefit over the previous 8 vs 8? So you have 14 vs 14 now on some maps....way more than half the players are always leaving and new ones arriving....it's a joke...only four or five player out of the 14 on each team stay for the whole battle. In essence you've only got 5 vs 5 because all the other players leave or can do no damage but need to clear a "complete a mode" mission. Why can't Tanki see that they are making even more players quit the game...because they CAN'T USE THEIR ACCOUNTS ANY MORE!!!!!!!! All they have to do is go back to 8vs8 and the problem will probably disappear...and with no downside to losing the 12vs12 or 14vs14...none! What's wrong with these fools? The player base is so small now that it's like the days before the Latin servers were incorporated. I used to play the Latin community all the time since I speak Spanish. Now in off hours our current Tanki is just like the Latin servers were when there were only a thousand or so players online...it took forever to get into a battle. That is happening now in the off hours. Something like ASL, Juggy, or Siege are very very difficult to get into a lower rank battle during off hours...there just aren't enough players online anymore. And Tanki devs keep coming up with pointless ways to make even more players quit. Like 14 vs 14, so very few can play the game even if they want to play Tanki.

    Thanks for your response. I may be mistaken, but I believe that this is the first time that you've told me it has been reported. And, I do think it is a serious enough problem that reporting it several times and on a consistent basis might motivate the devs into actually doing something about it. I really think the only thing that needs to happen would be to lessen the number of players in higher rank battles. This problem doesn't happen much in lower rank battles where there are fewer players in each battle, only the overcrowded, big map, high rank battles. What is the purpose of overcrowding higher rank battles...what purpose does it serve? And, if it has a purpose, at least in the devs minds, does that purpose outweigh the negative impact on many players starting around Rank 20 or so? Right now I log in, collect my daily container, check the Showcase, and then try to get a "complete a mode" or a supply type of mission because it is almost impossible to complete any mission where one has to actually fight in a battle. It is impossible to do the bi-monthly Challenges and any Special Missions. Then I log out and play lower ranked accounts where the "no damage" problem doesn't happen. I sincerely doubt that I am the only player that can't effectively use their higher rank accounts. Is whatever purpose the devs think the overcrowding is serving worth precluding many players from using and advancing higher rank accounts? Eventually, if the "no damage" problem isn't fixed by codeing or going back to fewer players in each battle, I will abandon my higher account and I would guess other players will do the same. Something for the devs to think about is whether low rank players or higher rank players are more likely to make purchases in the shop. My guess would be higher rank players and if you barricade many players from ever becoming higher ranks, Tanki is turning away business for whatever this purpose they think overcrowding battles serves. Seriously, and in all sincerity, why would you need a video of loading screens and a tank in a battle shooting another tank and nothing happens? Everything looks exactly the same as in any battle, only one tank (yours) does no damage. It's very self explanatory. Join a battle and you do no damage.

    NO DAMAGE Same old problem that never gets addressed. No damage. Too many players in one battle, too much lag, no damage. Why can't Tanki do something about this? I try to play every couple of days in hopes that they will correct this problem, but it's always the same old tired "no damage" glitch. I spend a couple hours every two or three days logging and out, in and out, in and out, in and quit. I would really like to play Tanki other than just very low ranks where the maps are smaller and there are fewer players so the "no damage" glitch doesn't happen. Fix the "NO DAMAGE" problem...please?????

    Interesting...so maybe that's Tanki's thinking/focus...increase player base by getting Google Play to hype them. I hope they can catch the attention of Google before they go broke...I'd like to keep playing Tanki :)

    And speaking of poor workmanship, or at the very least poor decision making, the same tired barf contines in the "NO DAMAGE" glitch on overcrowded maps. You log in, wait to finally get into a battle and you can do no damage. You log out and back in, join a battle after a long wait and no damage. This goes on and on. Eventually you may get into a battle that you can do damage, but half way through the battle the damage stops. Why can't this "NO DAMAGE" issue be addressed? It would be a very easy fix...just stop overcrowding the maps at higher ranks...very simple. It seems to me that the overcrowding is a bad idea on another level also. With so few players left in the player base, why shove so many that are queuing for a battle into the same battle? Wouldn't it be more accommodating to make two or even three different battles instead of just one large lag ridden worthless battle? You can join any big map overcrowded battle and watch scores of players come and go...just click the tab and watch the players leave constantly and new players joining that also end up leaving for the most part. I do this all the time since I can rarely do damage, but need a specific mode battle for a mission (forced multdom). You can also see many players that are in the battle mult just like me, probably for exactly the same reason. The overcrowding is just too much for Tanki's delicate coding and/or lack of server resources. Fix the "NO DAMAGE" issue

    Very common. I think it's just sloppy coding. Once you're in the queue there is significant lag time between clicking cancel and actually leaving the queue. They will never be able to fix this, it's just part of poor workmanship.

    With his permission and blessing, I am taking over Uber Legends for ByeByeBye. ByeByeBye's last update was September 2, 2019...a lot has changed in the game along with many changes on this list. If you see a very advanced Legend, post their name or ratings url and I will add them to the list. I will update this entire list as frequently as I can, but I will devote most of my effort into to keeping the Top 20-ish up to date.     One wonders at what point do the buyers that are buying in earnest have everything they want. And then stop buying...a satiation point. Tanki's got a tiny player base left...gotta be less than 10,000 at peak times (probably less than 8000...a guess). Very hard to turn the F2P players that are left into buyers if they haven't done so already...lots of F2P players just don't trust what Tanki will do to whatever they might buy, so they don't buy anything...ever (like me). The whale buyers must have just about everything they can buy already after years to acquire loot and currency. There are only a handful of new players, if any so I doubt they are much of a revenue source. That seems to leave Tanki stuck with trying to motivate the moderate and small buyers into enough action to cover this months payroll...tough gig. Desperation is the word that comes to mind. Just think, when Tanki had 140,000 players logged in at peak times (probably a million a day overall) and were still adding new players constantly, before the toxicity of Matchmaking and their slash and burn marketing strategy took over, what might have happened if they had sold a bit of advertising...just like they now do on mobile. The player base probably would have kept growing, revenue would have become a constant steady stream, and the game itself would have still been fun to play since all the foul updates that have trashed it over the years would not need to have happened. But instead Tanki chose their current terminal path...too bad.

    DAs (now BAs) are 25% reduction in damage you take with no drone. So that is half of an original DA. DDs (now BDs) are 33% more damage you do with no drone. So that is a third of an original DD. We effectively lost 50% of what a DA could do and 66% of what a DD could do...right? Or is my logic off somewhere? Why did the DD get nerfed more than the DA? Brutus only gives a 10% boost as per the current Wiki, yet (patch note quote): "In case an equipped drone is fully upgraded, «Boosted armor» is decreasing incoming damage by 50%, and «Boosted damage» is increasing outgoing damage by 100%, just like it was before this update."     Yeah that is true...two friggin' years ago! Supplies became a non-issue and just part of the game when copious amounts of them were bequeathed in containers, missions, and Challenges. I don't care what you guys do to the game now, you have ruined it already so it can't be made much worse. What ticks me off is the smarmy tortured rationalizations for your toxic updates..."you often complain that the game is too dependent on supplies" ..what a load of spin doctor sludge. Be a company with integrity and just say "We are changing the parameters of supplies" ...done, easy, without the "we're-making-the-game-better-for-YOU, because-we-care!" bogus rap. Dr. Spin says, "Hey Developers, what a fantastic update! This supply update will free up a multitude of nicknames that were previously active!"

    This weeks featured parity mode is great...super fun...Tanki the way it was and should be again. I was so stoked from playing I decided to try a mission or two in regular matchmaking. TRASH TRASH TRASH What a pathetic, lame, and totally frustrating experience...irritating; not even slightly fun. It started with long waits to get into TDM...yeah, TDM...two minutes of click to join, wait for the queue, wait for the battle to render, wait to actually spawn in, so now, only five minutes left in the battle and NO DAMAGE! Log out and log back in...less than 30 seconds left in the battle. Click next and wait for another two minutes to spawn into a battle...less than a minute of battle left, quit the battle. Try to join another TDM...two minutes to spawn in...NO DAMAGE!! Quit the battle. Log out and log back in. Try to join TDM...two minutes to spawn in, NO DAMAGE!!! Go back and play the event mode...FUN! I take a couple hours break and then try TDM once again. I get into battle in about a minute and I can do damage...horrible lag, but damage. I'm used to Short Bridge and being able to drive around and put some thought into game play, but now it's just, spawn, die, spawn, die. I can't even stay alive long enough to get a shot off. I spend the whole battle and kill two tanks and get killed a dozen times. Click next, spawn in within a minute, and NO DAMAGE!!!! AGAIN! Done...who needs the missions and all the loot they bring when the game play is so AWFUL? I'll wait and play the parity modes on weekends. The game is so compromised on these ridiculously overcrowded lag ridden large maps. Why oh why doesn't Tanki do something about the "no damage" glitch. Cut the number of players on each team. Battles would be more fun, less lagged, shorter waiting times, and the "no damage" problem would be cured (mostly). I can't possibly be the only person having problems with this and it's not my computer or connection. I play another game, Ark Survivor, and it takes 10 times as much computing power as Tanki and I have no problem at all with it. The game has been updated and updated until it is dull repetitive trash. Just compare CTF on Short Bridge with four player teams to any MatchMaking battle with the overcrowding, magic foo-foo equipment, an general compromised luck based game play. The "no damage" and the overcrowding makes what little is left of Tanki unplayable. Fix the "no damage" problem.

    micro-upgrade upddate...when?

    So when does this latest micro-upgrade insult come into effect? ....I just did my Mk3 tenth MU upgrade because of this coming update. I am hoping I will be able to click the "Buy Mk4 for $0" before the upgrade is implemented just in case the system thinks an MU-10 is like an MU-anything and cuts me out of my rightful Mk4.

    So when does this latest micro-upgrade insult come into effect? ....I just did my Mk3 tenth MU upgrade because of this coming update. I am hoping I will be able to click the "Buy Mk4 for $0" before the upgrade is implemented just in case the system thinks an MU-10 is like an MU-anything and cuts me out of my rightful Mk4. "Loads easier for the new players"...ahahahahaaaaa! RTFL What new players? ...It's just to squeeze a droplet more from current players since any upgrades of lower ranked equipment will essentially be erased....such shockingly cheap and greedy micro-management.
  25. I am reconciled to the fact that the game was ruined a couple of years ago. Matchmaking was the wooden stake in the authentic (and loved) Tanki game. It's all been downhill from there...really a bit before that with the toxic updates implemented to accommodate MatchMaking, but a fast toboggan run since MatchMaking. As they twitch in their death throes of a compromised game, Tanki cashed in on years worth of accumulated players and those players addiction to a once great game. But the bulk of the player base passed away quickly and Tanki has been coaxing what they can out of the dwindling numbers for the last year or so. Recently they have become desperate to generate any kind of cash flow from any possible twist they could think of. What we are left with is a ghost of a terrific, fun game, but now full of magic gees and gahs and unravelable over-complication...all at inflated prices unavailable to any but cash buyers (Tankoins). I have no idea how long Tanki can continue (I've guessed summer of next year, but who knows) but I'm pretty sure the devs see the end coming and have a pretty good idea of when done-day is. Anyway, my real point is the game is dead. It's just the twitch left. The mortal wound came years ago so resign yourself to enjoy what you can out of the pathetic mess that is still left before the game just isn't there one day. The trash updates they have done recently and the trash updates they will do in the future just don't matter...Tanki doesn't matter any more. There might be one glimmer of hope for Tanki's ultimate demise now that I ponder it a bit. The parity events they are having on the weekends are fun. Maybe they can parley them into something that keeps their boat afloat. The problem with them now is that eventually they will get stale. Each player will have his favorite mode and be disappointed when their fav parity mode is not featured...other modes may become hoe-hum. Will enough players keep grinding MM with it's increasing repulsiveness as they are motivated by the parity events to log in? Can Tanki up the parity mode's clout and find a way to make a Ruble out of it? Time will tell...
