but... new players don't know what they want, its best to start them out with an average hull, get an understanding of how hulls speed and armor work, then allow them to buy different hulls if they want, i.e. the current system. -

My logic is "acceptable unrealism" I understand flame tanks, have you read any of my posts xD I agree and personally think fire prob uses a thermite mixture. but I don't think that fire should be removed, just the afterburn re-balanced but a tank can just go over a SMALL fire xD that won't hurt them, a wasp prob won't even feel it it goes so fast. and again on the ground, there's nothing to burn but the fuel, and that will be burned up quick, so if there is any fire left on the ground I won't be as hot and will disappear fast.

well, that idea does have some good points, tanks CAN "drift" on ice and snow, watch this clip but, that's REAL snow there, mostly snow, but, tanks can still drift on ice, but ice that occurred in seconds? on materials, at around room temperature, if your saying the ground, the ground, especially roads, are going to be a lot warmer than that, so tanks can drift on a large amount of snow and ice, however, freeze does not distribute enough area of ice for a drift, nor is the ice the quality it needs to drift. and, your self-damage flamethrower idea, I've never thought about it but there is the danger with running or driving with a flamethrower, as there is with anything, but the danger I have seen when that happens is minimal or non-existent, what really matters, is wind. but that fire thing Maf was talking about -.- no, a tank will have no problem going over a small brush fire, and how do you even set fire to the ground anyway Maf, I would like to know that xD.

this should be free, and not affect gameplay, just makes the game a lil' graphically improved, like use fire against a prop, I think it should leave a black scorch mark, and disappear after a few seconds, same for freeze, a frozen or frost effect on props for a small amount of time, then disappear, this is a thing for all other turrets.

I'm not trying to be mean xD I'm just telling you what I thought of your idea, and frankly, I didn't like the idea of it in general, I gave my reasons.

I don't think it needs to be balanced, just buy a smoki or a rico, that's basically what this alt is, no offense.
