"But Doctor! You are a miracle worker. I was told I would never see again." "What do you see?" asked the Doctor. "I see pink things with long noses floating around and white things that look like people, only I can almost see through them."
-
Ah, so. "I see", said the blind man.

Are you saying if it lands in a tunnel it pops up through the ground and appears again at ground level?
-
I didn't know GB landed in tunnels.

Because there didn't seem to be as many buyers as there are now. At the time, I think the non-buyers out weighed the buyers. It was easy to pick out the buyers, but now, it's difficult to find non-buyers.
-
You're spreading yourself out too thinly. At your rank, you don't need 5 turrets and 5 hulls. Pick out a favorite combo and concentrate more on MUing those. Then pick out a secondary combo. I assume you're a non-buyer. If that's the case, then you definitely need to do missions, if you aren't already. Missions and Challenges are a good source for supplies and crystals. You have Wasp and Hornet. You don't need both. Pick out one or the other. Then pick out either Viking or Titan. Use Mammoth only if you plan on being a camper. Shaft and Railgun are long range turrets, Striker and Smoky are medium range, Firebird is close range. Decide which you prefer...close, medium or long range. Some players are happy with one combo. You have to decide if you can be comfortable with that. I don't know your playing style, so you'll have to choose accordingly. Go to the Wiki and study up on each turret and hull that you have MUed to M1. That will help you with your decision making. I could tell you which ones to pick, but I don't want to persuade you one way or another. If you don't have a particular playing style, then start experimenting with combos, find out what you like and stick with it.

AHA!! A thread of truth begins to raise its ugly head.

One is not suppose to discuss with strangers the amount of money one has in the bank, therefore, I will not disclose how many crystals I have in the bank. However, I will say this: The inside of my tanks (and I do say tanks) are lined with crystals. You should see the lighting effects when I turn on the Disco ball. I see TWINK-les...lots and lots of TWINK-les...all over my tanks I see TWINK-les. WEEEEE!! TWINK-les. In my tanks I see TWINK-les. Here a twinkle, there a twinkle, everywhere a twinkle-twinkle. I think I'll take the crystals off the ceiling and put a mirror. Waddya think? Ooooo the possibilities.

Yes, and that's what made the game more balanced. Few players could afford the MUs.

Drones, overdrive and alterations have ruined this game along with all the nerfs and buffs. In the past year to year and a half, I've played less and less. I entered the last two wars, including this one, and found my heart just isn't in it to play the long hours I used to play. In my opinion, when the Devs separated the paints and modules that was when the balanced bolder was pushed over the side and down the slope to (hell? wrack and ruin? black hole? You finish the sentence). I have found other games that are not set up for me to fail. Tanki is free to play but not free to (successfully) compete. This is a buyers account, but my others are not. It's very difficult to come out ahead without buying. I don't know what the Devs are looking for, but I hope they find it (and we the players) when the game is switched to HTML5.

Alterations don't seem to make a difference. See: http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=380724&p=6707432 and http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=380724&do=findComment&comment=6707436

I've noticed while using Vulcan, damage points are not consistent. They can range anywhere from a single number on up into the 50's on the same tank in the same attack. Why is that? In a battle a few weeks ago, I was up against a Wasp without Vulcan module coming towards me. All I was getting off him was single digits and a couple double digits in the teens. Throughout the entire battle, he singled me out for an easy kill with Freeze. Each time, my damage on him was very low. How is that possible?

Conditions for obtaining maximum GS: Turret/Hull: M3; Max micro-upgrades Paint: Maximum rarity "Legendary" Skin: Equipped, on a turret and hull Module: Equipped; Max micro-upgrades Drone: Equipped; Max micro-upgrades Shot Effect: Equipped Supplies: Each consumable is no lesser than 300 (excluding Gold Boxes). So far, no one has explained to me why paint and skin has anything to do with anything. MUs are more important in determining strength and power of a tank and a better calculator of the tank I'm up against. I could care less about how many hours the enemy played to get the XT skin and Legendary paint or how much money they have to waste on a game just to get a perfect GS on a main combo. If I were a Warrior on a battlefield, would all the bells (that don't ring), whistles (that don't work), bangle, beads and tassels hanging from my armor and the rarity of the of the color make me a better fighter? Will all that put fear into the eyes of the enemy? I think not. Although, they may die from laughing.

When I first started using Isida (alt account) I did some research on gameplay, attack, etc. One of the things a guide pointed out was to wear a paint that makes you more visible to your teammates so they can find you quicker, but also cautioned that you will also be more visible to the enemy as well. That guide has since been replaced and mentions nothing about being more visible to your teammates. With that in mind, I usually use a highly visible paint like Space Invaders, Zebra, Lava. With an icon, I would wear something less visible like paints in the black, green or gray range.

Combine the two is $3 074 459 415 475 289 518 Too bad the CEO can't sell both games and buy that super sports car and mansion he's had his eyes on. :D

CEO has his eyes on a super sports car. He needs more money to buy it. :D

I've been lucky a few times getting a kill after the RK activation. If you notice, repair isn't instantaneous, it's gradual. If you can stay alive long enough, you can stop the repair action and still get the kill. You only have to take down about 75% of the tank's health instead of the 100%. To test this out yourself. Wait for Hornet OD activation (your teammate) and start your attack. Watch your target's health bar when he activates RK. It is possible to stop the healing process from going 100% if you keep up the attack.

Same thing happened to me on one of my lower accounts. I purchased Shaft M0 thinking I could MU it to M0 10/10 before M1 was locked out. I wasn't getting enough crystals to make that happen. By the time I got it fully upgraded the M1 was locked. I, too, came to the forums wondering why I didn't get the M1 and got the same answer.

I don't know if you recall when top 3 missions first came into being. The mission used to be first place on the winning team. Players were outraged and suggested that top 3 was more reasonable. That's when the top 3 mission came out. The Devs listened to the players and made the change. Other suggestions were: First place on winning or losing team. Top 3 on winning or losing team. One player stated that he could get top 4, but not top 3 and requested top 4 of winning team. Mods explained that top 3 of the losing team isn't difficult if you try hard enough, but top 3 of the winning team is more difficult. I've been top 3 of the losing team much more often than the top 3 of the winning team. The Devs tried to put some variety in the missions by making some easy and some more difficult. Another change to the missions where the Devs listened to the players was supply pick up. Players were complaining that with this mission there was a lot of fighting over supply boxes and sabotaging. Players would come into battle with the soul purpose of collecting supply boxes and leaving. Other complaints were players picking up supply boxes when they didn't need it leaving a teammate with no health (Collect x number of Repair Kits). The Devs changed it so using your own supplies counted towards the mission.

Valid CP: allow us to capture a point even if they are in our teams possession.

Sorry, I didn't think this all the way through. (Open mouth, inset foot syndrome). Point would remain captured for 60 seconds and then begin to neutralize. Once it begins to neutralize that part would take 3 - 4 seconds. When it begins to neutralize, points cease until it is fully captured again. -
Actually, it's not that expensive if you break it down. 750 batteries = 8.99 USD 5 days premium = 5.00 USD ( 1 day is 1 USD and 7 days is 3 USD so I'm assuming 5 days is 5 USD) Total: 13.99 USD Bundle is 24.99 USD Take away the batteries and days of premium that makes the paint = 11.00 USD (which is cheap for animated paint.) Yes, I know you can't buy the paint without the bundle.

Would the neutralization be gradually or suddenly? I think it should be gradually, about 3 seconds but no more than 4. -
When a new turret is put into the game, it's always OP and stays that way for at least a couple months or more. Then it's nerfed and nerfed again. It seems the Devs aren't concerned with the parameters of other hulls or how that turret is going to affect gameplay. They don't do the math or maybe there's no math involved that's why there are so many nerfs and buffs. When it was discovered that Vulcan's burn can affect Firebird's burn, why did they nerf the Vulcan instead of putting "stop" or a wall of some type in the programming that isolated the two turrets. I don't know anything about coding, would isolating the Vulcan from the Firebird all that difficult? Are nerfs and buffs over and over easier?

Why you should accept the fact that this game is dead and move on

Madness was great for parkour, too. First time I played on Madness, I didn't realize there were holes in the floor. Can you imagine my surprise the first time I found myself falling through outer space? When it first came out I think there were more holes in the floor than there was when the bottom floor was removed. At the lower ranks, it was funny to suddenly see a rain of tanks falling and most of them landed upside down or go through the holes. In the same battle, you could see 3 modes going on at the same time: CTF on the bottom floor, TDM on the upper floors and parkour in between. I think it should remain as it is in Pro battles but bring back the lower floor in MM. -
Unity was supposed to be the new and upcoming thing. A lot of games changed to Unity. How come it failed? I played TankiX for a short while...very short. The first few times was the same map...inside a building with ramps going to a platform. I got tired of being killed every few seconds and left. Later I went back to a different map, don't remember what it was. Again, same story...killed every few seconds. I don't think I ever left base. That was the last time I played. I felt there was something I wasn't doing or didn't understand or something. I don't know, it never piqued my interest. I don't play TO very much anymore, either. New turrets were being introduced that were way too OP for way too long before they got nerfed. Then everything got either nerfed or buffed. Devs know the parameters of each hull. It seemed as though they introduced turrets ignoring the parameters. Not everything that looks good on paper, works in relationship with everything else. That's what was being ignored, relationships. Prices keep going up. Yesterday, I looked at the product kits in the store. I'm not about to pay $50.00, $60.00, $70.00 for something that doesn't wash the dishes, clean house, mow the yard, trim the trees, etc. If I wanted to buy anything from the store, I have to budget for it. Well, Tanki has just leaped its way out of my budget. Russia must think everyone in America lives in mansions, drives fancy cars and uses money to kindle the fire in the fireplace. I watched a video on YouTube where kids were stealing their parents credit cards and spending thousands upon thousands of Dollars on computer games. Even to the point of draining entire bank accounts. That's what Tanki is teaching kids to do, IMO. Well, I have other reasons for not playing TO very often, but I dare not mention them here. My reasons could easily be misunderstood. So, let's just leave it at that. I have found other games that pique my interests more and they don't cost an arm and a leg to compete. Ok, ok, Non-Buyers, I hear you. This is my only paying account. I have several others that are Non-buying. A few of them have ranked up faster than I could collect crystals for MUs. That was back before missions. EDIT: To this wall of text, let me add lag. I just played 5 RGB battles. The first two ran fine, no lag. Battle 3: game froze, except me, and reloaded once. Battle 4: Same problem twice. Battle 5: Same problem three times. No sense in reporting it, no fixes are on the horizon. Tanki thinks it's everyone else's problem, not theirs. They must think everyone is using computers running Windows 98. I'm outta here. I'm going to game game that is playable. Bye Tanki. Maybe tomorrow.
