I just saw my suggestion is up there, too.

Not a typo. One of the Mods mentioned that. But further research shows that the map was actually meant to be played by 40 players (20x20). So, I don't know why the Mod said that. He said that the map is big, but the actual playing area is small due to all the buildings. I've played the map with two full teams and we were tripping all over each other. I found it a difficult map to play without full team support to achieve the battle objectives.

Suggestion: On Holiday Events have multiple teams (3 or 4) with a common goal in mind. Now that we have alterations, drones and ODs, I think these type of battles are feasible. Battle length may have to be lengthened just for the event.

Not a whole lot if they keep electrocuting brains to improve focus.

I suggest you take a day and familiarize yourself with the Wiki. I don't know how long you have been gone, but if it's been over a year, you have a lot of catching up to do.

An enemy of all Countries appears, bent on absolute destruction of all humanity. A group of Countries band together to overcome and destroy the common foe. Another group of Countries bands together and kills those killing the threat to all mankind and wipes them out. The common enemy kills those who were trying to save humanity. The devastating force lives to fight another day. The cycle repeats.

Devs don't necessarily fix bugs and glitches, they just put a bandaid on them. Even the best of bandaids eventually fail. One of the Mods mention a few days ago, that when the Devs do a big update they sometimes trigger old bugs and glitches. If the bug and glitch was fixed in the first place, it wouldn't be triggered.

Thank you. At least one viewed the video and commented. I'll see you at the Space Hotel. I didn't think about 9-11. But you're right, it does look like that. You planning on buying one of those "love bots?'

What do you think about some of the predictions in the video?

Thank you for the answer. The map has been up there for quite a while. Someone needs to put a firecracker in the back pocket of someone else.

I've had top 3x15 for a few days over two weeks and only got 5. One of those was when I was doing a complete 5 battles in DM mission. I hate DM, but it had a small crystal reward so I kept it. I used Firebird with compact fuel tanks alt/Titan. I nearly fell off my chair when I saw I came in 2nd.

Wasp's bomb effect shouldn't to through walls and buildings. I use Titan M2.10. A bomb was dropped...oh probably about the length and a half of a Mammoth from me. I was behind a wall and the bomb was on the other side. It nearly took all of my 100% health with DA activated. I only had a thread of health left. Another time, there were two buildings side by side. I had just respawned and was behind one of those buildings. I didn't know a bomb had been set. When it went off, it took at least 3/4 of my health bar. Players who are saying the bomb is weak, what are you using to protect yourself from the blast?

Read the previous posts. This topic should be closed. It's already been answered.

Maybe I missed the Wiki policy. Where does it say that the Yorkshire map cannot be shown in the main map section nor in the MM map section?
-
I just had a brain hiccup that jarred my memory banks. Yorkshire was first introduced Happy New Year 2015/16 with the new battle mode Assault. It had one blue base and one red flag. In 2016/17 it was brought back as another Happy New Year map, but was changed to accommodate more players, 2 blue bases and 3 red flags. We are still playing the second version minus the second blue base. Old version: New version Note the bridge(s) on the left. The first version had one long bridge that ended on a cliff overlooking Blue base in the castle courtyard. (See version 2 left of center). Red team would gather on the cliff and try to wipe out blue team so red could cap. Remember, there was only one red flag. Sometimes, red team on the cliff could keep blue team occupied long enough for red to cap from the rear. In the second version, the long bridge was shortened and another one added. The cliff was taken away and so was Blue base in the castle courtyard. Note the Christmas tree in the very center of the map. There's a RK drop zone there now. The tree was solid and the base of it was big enough for Railgun/Wasp-Hornet to play peek-a-boo or for a Firebird ambush. I found these under Holiday Maps.

I made a suggestion in I&S "Add more maps to MM" but it was much more involved than just asking for more maps. There's usually a two to three day delay before it's posted. Probably Tuesday.

My cache is clear. It's not on the main list of maps. The list goes from Wolfstein map to Year 2042 map to Zone map. In the list of MM maps, the link is there, but if you click on it there is text that says, " There is currently no text in this page. You can search for this page title (link) in other pages, or search the related logs (link). I clicked on both links and there is no text nor image.

Look in the Wiki, it's not there at all. It was in MM maps, but removed from there as well.
-
When MM was being created, they wanted maps that were more conducive for 10x10 battles. Some of the larger maps, like Dusseldorf, didn't make it because the actual playing area was too small. There are 77 maps in Tanki and only 29 made the grade. Some of the smaller maps, like Sandal and Sandbox, were resized to accommodate team size.

Why was Yorkshire map removed?

Believe it or not, in the early days of Tanki, lag was even worse than it is now. You would drive you tank and want to go around a building or some other obstacle but the turning controls wouldn't respond. Picture the chaos that made. Visualize the long outside ramp going up to blue base in Silence. You'd get to the top and just keep right on going. If you knew how many seconds you were lagging, then you could start making your turn that many seconds before you got there. However, that didn't always work either. You'd start to make a turn a second before you needed to and suddenly the game caught up with you and you'd either end up in a ditch or making a U-Turn. Sometimes buildings would have a black wall, some ramps were black, too. At times, even tanks were black and it wasn't black paint either. They looked like a black box running around without the shape of a tank. Delayed shots were common. You'd hit the spacebar and nothing happened, but somehow you managed to get a kill. Or you'd spam the spacebar trying to get a shot off before your target disappeared behind a wall or building. Ghosting was common, too. You would respawn but either everyone had spinning turrets or just wasn't moving. However, you could move around the map at will and push the enemy tanks off the map or over a cliff. That was fun. But if you didn't reload you were booted from the battle. Sometimes you'd see a tank that looked like a ghost. I don't know if that's what I looked like when I was ghosting. The lags were terrible, glitches were horrible, but we still had fun.

If you have missions that are not battle mode specific and battle mode isn't an issue, try using Quick Battle. Joining a battle takes just a few seconds. Rarely do I have to wait as long as 30 seconds. There's a lot less 2 minutes battles, too.

Silence CP Red. I was using Smoky/Viking. I was going up the long outer ramp to blue team and got up to the top when I activated my OD. Just as I did that one of my teammates decided it would be a great idea to push me on over into the dead zone. I didn't stop at the top, so I wasn't just sitting there. I just caught a glimpse of the tank's front fender. I think it was a Mammoth.

They are doing some nerfing and buffing. https://tankionline.com/ru/2019/04/obnovlenie-parametrov-overdrajvov-pushek-ustrojstv-dronov/
