In TDM you help the other team reach the objective every time you die. Imagine ASL where the Blue team was able to cap flags against themselves. It would only make sense that they would get penalized. I do agree it would encourage camping, but... it's unfair as it is.

Well you'll have to explain my results :) I've used Vulcan for very few hours, so I'm pretty noob at it (I'm not a dumb player, but I have very few turret-specific skills for Vulc), and already I can NOT USE A SINGLE DRUG and get top scores in every battle. How about you try it? Start an account, and play Vulcan/whatever hull (I used Titan) and see how you fare. Remember, you can't say that it's just noob opposition, because that's all you find at M0/M1 ranks. I'd say it's pretty balanced/slightly OP at those ranks. One thing I always do is I'm constantly shooting. Since my Vulcan can kill 2-3 Wasps at least (I once killed 1 Viking and 3 Wasp M0s with my M1 Vulcan in one go, but they might have been damaged prior), I don't need a full charge to attack/defend. I just start shooting immediately. No one in sight? Stop shooting, start immediately again. That way you're pretty much always shooting.

Fixed that for you - why would anyone hate a Shaft that doesn't camp? Anyways, you have a valid point, and I did think of it. But still, the original problem is bad too. If someone is camping they technically shouldn't have an opportunity to make as many kills as someone who moves forward. But it's kind of a lose-lose. Anyone got a suggestion to fix both problems?

Nope, strove is correct. Strived is sometimes written but is technically NOT correct.

Wait what? Maybe at M1 ranks, but... Vulcan is super OP at M0 ranks. Everyone uses Wasp. My record atm is 560 score without using any drugs at all. That's at . On my low Vulcan account () I have Harvester kit, and it's almost frightening to see the health bars just drain when one of my teammate Hornets have their OD on. The fear factor seems almost crazy, especially when I happen on a DD pickup box. I can have several tanks all attacking me in Desert and kill all of them - 4-5 tanks. Even without DD. I bought the Tanki 1.0 paint solely because getting the 50 of all supplies is essentially 30 battles for me when I'm using Vulcan at .

How long does it take for the site to process the purchase of the paint?

Disclaimer, this idea was derived from a topic made by @StopChasingMe. In the current system, a player with 15 kills and 14 deaths would get a higher reward than a player with 14 kills and 0 deaths (assuming that there were no assists). This makes sense in most modes, but in TDM, each death means another kill for the other team, meaning that each time you die the other team is closer to the objective. In TDM, therefore, each death should take off ~2 points from your score. A small difference, but it does keep the focus not on rushing into the open, but being smart.

I never thought of this, but yes, that should be the case. It makes light hulls kinda obsolete in TDM, but the current system makes less sense than the one you mention.

No Titan Dome was mentioned in your example. Moot point. In your previous example with Viking/Twins, then yes, of course the Twins would kill you. But when there's no OD, even against a shorter range turret such as Rico it will win. You probably knew this, but you asked me for my math, and I wrote it.

Yes Freeze M2 is bad, but you may as well have the M2 instead of wasting all the crystals for MUing it to 6/10. [insert name of every gun] Yes Hornet can be one-shotted by a couple turrets... but I play Shaft/Hornet primarily now and it's ultra-fun.
