    I'm not sure about anyone else, but in the M0 ranks, my Vulcan is doing regular damage until it overheats, just like the balance update says. When my M0 Vulcan (with a lot of upgrades by the way) overheats, I'm hitting consistent 5's and 11's. I had ran out of energy while shooting an incoming Viking and it took me 8 extra seconds to kill the person. In that time, I suffered 7 ticks if afterburn damage through trying to finish the person off and then I died 3 ticks later. It's a good thing I use Mammoth with it. That nerf was unnecessary for Non-Incendiary Band Vulcans. That just made Vulcan undesirable to use on a whole. Looking at it now, Incendiary Band Vulcan STILL IS the best one to use since at least you're still doing Fire damage with 30% damage when the other Vulcans would be doing 30% damage alone.

    Just a small thing. I used my mammoth's Overdrive and continuously drove into this guy but he wasn't receiving damage. Nothing too major here. Other than that, the Overdrive works fine.

    I wouldn't blame him if he Destabilisation, to be honest. If he wants to be powerful by using what's overpowered, let him do it. I'm on the same train as you about targeting him though. They're so abundant and they're highly annoying. :lol:

    Firebird's heating rate is faster than Incendiary Band Vulcan's heating rate.

    Wow. I wouldn't have thought you were Chinese or your first language was Mandarin Chinese. That's honestly impressive. My friend said he tried to start learning Mandarin Chinese but gave up after it being too complicated for him. I always knew China had some sort of policy for gaming and such. I know about Vocaloid but I didn't know about translators or a Wiki for them. How has learning English been? I'm interested in linguistics. I think about languages and compare their components to each other a lot every day. It would be nice to see from the perspective of a person who is learning English as a secondary language.

    I'm pretty sure you were sick and tired of the Incendiary Band Vulcans, right? What about the Vulcans who don't use it, huh? What about them? Why should they have to suffer because of one stupid alteration? Vulcan, by itself, really isn't that good anymore. Probably because each turret may have been made to be able to play on every hull?

All you changed alongside that was the barrel-spin up time. You said it like other aspects of the turret were changed but there weren't any other changes made. That seems like bad wording. "We tried several options and decided to make the necessary changes to the overheating mechanic as described. This makes Vulcan a viable option on any hull." What train of thought lead to the conculsion that this change makes Vulcan viable on any hull? It's basically a nerf. How would dealing less damage overall to ONE enemy at a time under a sometimes unavoidable circumstance make it viable on any hull? ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ I want to believe they left out an important part of the change because what they''re saying doesn't add up.

    Alterations are supposed to change your playing style. So yeah, the other alterations focus on sniping while this one puts emphasis on its close-range effectiveness. The thing is, it can also snipe so it isn't really that much of a change in playstyle.

    Well R.I.P my Master Sergeant account then. Of course one alteration had to ruin an entire turret. That 70% less damage thing should ONLY be implemented on Incendiary Band Vulcans. What about Vulcans who don't use that alteration. It's already bad enough for an M0 tank to suffer 4 ticks of afterburn damage from yourself. it would require me to stop shooting because frankly, that isn't worth it. I'll still be maining it on that account but I won't have a relaxed mind while playing it. I'll play my last few good games today.

    Well that explained it. The damage increase I saw was from my Driver drone being fully upgraded. I always wondered what those two extra parameters on each drone were for. I thought they were just visual errors or features that were supposed to be implemented somewhere else. 5% of 3,000 is 150.. I don't see why with double damage, it's still 6,150. It should be 6,300. Edit: So yeah, if your Heavy Capacitors Shaft has an almost M4 Drone, then it's goodbye heavy hulls.

    Secret Firebird Alteration?

    I remember the mechanics of that alteration. It was supposed to decrease your turret rotations speed by a large amount but if you're being frozen and you shoot your Firebird, it would heat up your tank until it goes to neutral temperature. Freeze had its counterpart to it as well with the mercury in the thermometer being lower and the arrow pointing downwards.

    So, the Big O's are coming tomorrow. With each passing sale, I keep pondering on whether or not to buy the Driver drone. I decided against it thinking that they wouldn't release it for several more months but here they are, coming tomorrow. I really don't like that they're making you choose a hullnfor its Overdrive and not for what feels comfortable to you. As I use Hunter most on this account, it seems like I may have to be on the front lines again. Or maybe I'll defend my objective from the back with my Overdrivem. The latter seems like I may waste a lot of potential % of an Overdrive as I wait for the enemies to come into the base. But look on the bright side, at least we'll be able to complete the "Activate 50 Overdrives" weekly mission faster since they all seem to charge a lot faster than the current Overdrive. Hunter and Wasp's Overdrives seem to take 110 seconds to charge. You can maybe use 3 or 4 In one battle assuming you're not being blown out.

    Yeah, you're right. I was trying to do it in my head but that 150 seemed to mix me up every time I tried. Since 3,000 already did 3,900, it would make sense that 3,150 would do more than 4,000 but I just wasn't getting that in my mind. They probably did it to either increase Heavy Capacitors' usage or to exterminate Titans and Mammoths before they could use their Overdrives. At least that's why I think they're doing it.

    I'm starting to wonder if they're in on it as well. Even the Russian Wiki still has it at 10%. They seem to be keeping us in the dark about certain alterations, their mechanics and their balance. Also, about Incendiary Band. I'm sceptical about its heating rate. It says 20%/s. I'm wondering if double damage increases this because I get hit for just under 1 second and I receive 3 ticks of fire damage when in theory, I was supposed to get 1. If they shoot me for 2 full seconds, I expect to receive 2 ticks of fire damage during the shooting and 4 ticks after the shooting. I would get 2 ticks during the shooting and 7 ticks after the shooting. The devs can say one thing but it could be something else in the game. Alterations seem like mechanics to bring in money. If it's that, then of course they would put something in the game that doesn't accurately represent what it does. They don't share anything with us. Vikings4 sent me the link to the bell curves for Railgun when I was trying to expose Round Destabilisation. I asked him for the damage distribution curve of Round Destabilisation after and he hasn't responded since. I want to know how exactly the heating and afterburn cooling mechanic in this game works in a particular way. How does it count the cooling? Does it count it like 0.5, 0.4, 0.3 etc or does it count it like 0.5, 0.49, 0.48, 0.47, 0.46, 0.45, 0.44, 0.43, 0.42, 0.41, 0.40, 0.39 etc.? Incendiary Rounds Smoky used to deal 5 ticks of Fire damage but now it does only 4 yet it says it instantly heats the target to 50% of maximum temperature. Does it start to cool immediately as it starts to heat up? What is the heating rate of it? So many questions yet no answers as the devs are just too opaque with their statistics and information about alterations. The fact that they're not giving us this information just strengthens my claim that they're pandering to the superficial players in the player base. Players that wouldn't ask any questions about how something works. Just make it look attractive and you have their attention. When was the last time you saw a non-Incendiary Band Vulcan take top spot without capturing any flags, balls or points? When was the last time you even saw a Shooting Speed Regulator get top spot? They say it's not supposed to be better than its stock counterpart yet here Sledgehammer Rounds, Round Destabilisation, Incendiary Band, Incendiary Mix, Hyperspace Rounds, Launcher "Uranium", Duplet and " Death Herald" Compulsator are with their negligible cons for most them. Why don't they said WHY they nerfed or buffed a particular alteration? They just change it and don't tell us why. "Death Herald" Compulsator had a negligible drawback and a great pro. Then they changed it to where the pro is even more negligible. I asked Cedric why they did that and I got no answer. It was probably out of his jurisdiction to say such things but to not even reply something to it seems off.

    I only noticed a 150 damage increase both with double damage and without. Does 3,150 without and 6,150 with it. 6,150 seems like a weird number for it to be double damage. Earlier, I was doing 6,077 damage with double damage so it seemed to fluctuate when I played on different days. With a 150 damage increase, Heavy Capacitors still wouldn't be able to one-shot an M4 heavy hull.
