    It IS a legitimate tactic, but to certain extent. If there is a no-play zone on the map it is there for a reason! Ruining map planning is a huge disservice to overall balance. Shaft will never get update to its power if there will be maps allowing it to camp easily and making up for turret poor power by not intended gameplay features. As long as Serpukhov one of the most played maps these days, camping shafts on this map making statistics look decent, while the gun really might use some boosting.
  2. One thing that makes me upset about this whole topic is a fact that you consider discount kits as an garage item that should justify its pricing. No, it should not. It is a discount. For a huge set of items. Besides, supply kits are not meant for non-buyers. If you never consider donating to the game you should not buying supply kits at all. Not even supplies themselves. It is much wiser to stock everyday supplies presents and carefully spend supplies when absolutely needed. Making small donations to buy new turret or hull is justifiable but expendables? This is just a bad strategy.

    Upper places on Serpuhov is a no-play zone. There is an easy access to kill zones as long as it is a no-play zone. But players keep getting there. This is not an issue itself, but constant spam to tech support team from players who being destroyed by kill zones... is. So, I've blocked those paths entirely. As for Shaft, I would improve damage or reloading time rather than leaving it as a pure camping weapon. If laser is not enough to stop Shaft from camping, I will find more ways to enforce it.

    Test is being online for a while and we got some news.. 1. Windowed mode with aiming cursor will be changed. We are going to try out looking back with RMB and there will be some sort of a laser pointer from turret to make newbies familiar with vertical auto aiming in the game. You still won't be able to look left and right. This is technical limitation of windowed mode. 2. Fullscreen mode is going to stay the way it is with some bugs fixed and small tweaks in camera speed, but we are going to change Shaft sniper mode considerably. New aiming is going to be much more comfortable and more familiar to FPS players. 3. I am afraid we can not give you obvious options to settings menu. You won't be able to change mouse moving speed and stuff like that for a while. Current interface is strictly limited. But we are certainly going to add these options with Unity version of the game.

    1. No. Trust me, I tried to do that. It doesn't work as good as you expect it. 2. Well... no... You see, we don't really want mouse controls to be superior to keyboard controls. Besides, shots doesn't go exactly to the center of your coursor.

    Ok, I got some news for those, who are interested :) First of all there appears to be a bug with Hammer turret. This bug wasn't there during testing, so I assume it was brought by engine optimisations. Will be fixed during next week as soon as possible. Also some of you might experienced trouble turning Vulcan turret to the left when firing. Keep it cool guys, mouse controls will fix it for those who can not use anti ghosting keyboards. This also might be the next major update.

    I need to thank you guys. Frankly speaking, I had a vague idea on how this turret should be balanced. There were some thoughts and ideas, but none of them were solid. You've shown what you like to see as the vulcan cannon, so there are clear ways to make it happen. Plans are follow: - DPS goes down. Overkill with 80. Time to kill should be around 4 seconds for light hulls next time. - Impact and knockback goes down. Idea with huge feedback of a gun didn't go too well. - Gyroscope. This one will remain. This is a unique feature in our game. We like unique guns :) Though, I will concider making the turret less slow when you shoot. - Overheat. This one definitely needs to be changed. More damage, slower heat up, faster cool down. This will have a certain impact on Firebird as long as it uses same temperature mechanic, but it will be alright. Firebird users will like it. - Reload. This is not a 'reload' at all. It's a spin up and spin down time. I see you would like to swap them and I can see why. But most likely I won't. This gun is suppose to be vulnerable in close range. Will look into it for you, but... - Time to overheat. This one need to go down a bit as well. - Hit animation. We need them huge sparkles, aren't we? :D Please note that none of this is final. Changes might be different, dramatic maybe or none at all. Thanks again for valuable feedback.

  18. This topic got no point, except as history of updates. A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away... there were better tanki online. But corrupted forces of evil game developers spoiled everything. Here, you can read the story of updates that ruined the game as it was. The story of evil, slow but steady making this game bad. As some old players think of it, anyway. Read the story and enjoy yourself. Thus, the topic will stay closed.

    This is a nice topic to discuss whether or not we should make this XT equipment "impressive" in gameplay. Definitly not going to sell power. Supplies do the job well enough, no need to make better version of any turret or hull. Therefore, XT modifications with better parameters are not planned at all. But, if we are going to sell unique weapon versions there is a little room to play with parameters. For example, current Hornet XT with wings could use Wasp's speed and armor, but drifting in turns like ordinary Hornet do. And Railgun XT might use better reload but less damage or splashing instead of piercing effect. Something like that. In this case modified versions could not only use better looks, but some unique mechanics based upon original versions. The only thing that makes me think it is not such a good idea is "paints" effect. We got some nice looking paints but their stats making them a bad choice on battlefield. Same goes with XT versions. You may enjoy different look, but not the gameplay changes it offer. Whether or not looks should be locked to functions is another topic for debates.
  20. That's it? Through in some paints and the game won't suck any more? Most points TS speak about are no longer the case. For example rebalance happened two years. Read this again - TWO YEARS AGO. Most of other games die out in two years. This game not only lives, but update itself and the audience twice as large. And I find it hilarious that people keep whining about big faliure at rebalance but still around. For two years. This is why I call it The Whiners Club. Every mmo game forum is full of those. And this club as pointless as any other. Rebalance is the reason this game sucks? It was an event two years ago, got no influende on present day. It was a bad event back then, but after two years only hardcore fans whiners can keep the memory of it. Again, why post this kind of things on the game forum? Everybody around here knows why this game is bad. Pointless, unless you want your own whiners club.

  22. This update seems to work decently. There are definitely less unbalanced battles on servers. Though, it seems like we often encounter battles with obvious outcome, but stubborn players of loosing team does not wish to give up. Also, sometimes on small maps battle end triggered too early. We will look into it.
  23. Well... thechnicaly there is such a button. The DELETE :D If your entire team decided to surrender you need to "vote" by selfdestructing few times in a row. Your score wll go down and trigger conditions will be met.
  24. lolwut? Stoping imbalanced games will result in more intance battles. You won't loose your time anymore waiting the end of a round when one of the teams have left. This is actually indirect boost to battle funds rather than nerf.
