    Back in the days I used to buy a couple of thousand crystals by using mobile services e.g. via text message. Within the last year I did spend some money to buy myself Battle-Passes - the last time I did this was May Challenge-I, after that I stopped doing so since I didn't find challenges worth playing anymore

    It's easier to coordinate with mouse-controls since you dont have to rely on your turrets roration, you can also use mouse-controls to peek around corners. Do keep in mind that your actual scope has a delay on your visual crosshair while sniping, you can use this to your advantage
  3. Mouse-controls for aiming/shooting and camera-angles. Left hand used for WASD+F, 12345, [shift] and [tab]
  4. There are literally over 300 paints in the game and most players own already an enormous amount of paints. Why do we "need some new paints"? Go to your garage and select one of the other paints you have to play with, or pick a paint you normally don't use. I only do challenges for the final reward, containers and supplies; I do not even care about the paints, they are the last things I need

    Most things I have troubles with have already been discussed, but here are the issues I want to highlight: Shaft's scope-mode: Aiming feels awkward and is way too sensitive, especially when aiming vertically; FPS severly drops when the scope aims through the new 3D bushes. I know this is a setting which can be changed, but such problems should not arise - the game overall works smooth even with 3D bushes. It takes a lot of time to enter the garage/shop/battle-section from the lobby Graphics and colours appear dull and washed out

    I can recall I was around 4900/5300 GS, I didn't invest in protection modules and drones in the mid-ranks

    then wouldnt all drones receive such feature? After all, Brutus is just a 'upgraded' version of the additional armor/damage-bonuses from the other drones
  12. Hopper was released briefly after Ares was introduced; while the heavy hover-hull was mentioned one and a half year ago, developers suddenly announced the coming of Hopper. A medium hull - being a completing part of the 'trio' - can be expected to be released in the near feature. In V-log 271, one of the screens at 0:44 shows the text 'mid - next' while the developers were talking about the new hovering hulls, potentially giving rise to the expectation of a hovering medium-hull to be added soon. Concerning potential overdrives, the overdrives among existing hulls can be divided into three OD-types (offensive overdives such as Wasp, Viking and Mammoth; defensive ODs would be Hopper, Hunter & Titan and supportive overdrives are Hornet, Dictator and Ares). Since there are already three medium-hulls, it would be cool to see something new. A Phantom-cloak overdrive would be interesting; you are able to turn your tank invisible and will turn visible again after 20/30 seconds or when you press the fire-button, nonetheless you are still affected by 'accidental' hits, mines and overdrives

  14. People have had time to enjoy the last moments in Flash for months now, it's time to make the final decision and move to HTML entirely. The new version is far from perfect but don't expect it to be flawless before december; when Flash is discontinued, developers have plenty of time to fix all problems in the HTML-version

  17. Current skins will receive a make-over; they will receive more polygons and will look more 3D-ish. The release of Ares already forecasted this, the hull looking more detailed and fresher than the other hulls. So yes, all skins will resemble the current UT-skins, but I am convinced there will still be distinction between these types of skins - it can be expected that XT-skins and perhaps legacy skins will get this same transformation, I don't know how it will affect prime-skins since these were reverted 2D-designs of the Ultra 3D-models. I had a discussion with Maf about this and both of us were uncertain what changes this update would bring to skins in general. The idea that all turrets and hulls receiving the same skin was discussed months ago with the Mk-update, however devs hadn't come back to it until now. Since it is heaps of work to modify all existing skins, I do understand that they decided to pick only one skin per equipment-part. I do not know how this update will affect UT containers. Apart from UT-skins, the UT-prizepool does contain a larger variety of rewards compared to normal containers
  18. First thing people are paying attention to when seeking for a new game are the game's looks and visuals. A game with up-to-date graphics is first-glanced superior to a game with low-quality. Age has nothing to do with that; cosmetic items do attract "certain people" however, but that is not what I am discussing here. In the long run game-balance is most important indeed, but again that is not what this is about. We cannot know how the new graphics will turn out, let's be patient and see what will come to us
  19. they are plain, not detailed and very outdated. Compared to other games nowadays graphic and visual wise, Tanki Online looks awful. no debate. This game has had the same skins and looks for almost ten years - it is about time that TO receives improved graphics to match a more modern-looking game. If Tanki wants to attact new players, they will have to upgrade the game's quality. I have waited for better 3D-ish visuals for so long, finally TO undertakes this step. Re-modelling all skins is extremely time-consuming; if we only get one skin in return so be it.

    Top 3 turrets/hulls?

    Compact Fuel Tanks can easily be countered by one of the anti-heat augments, making CFT useless. Not to forget that CFT also has a huge energy consumption. Generally, Incendiary Mix is better since it has more damage-output and decreased energy consumption

  22. Opposing team had overall better GS, half of them had defender equipped and five players were using IB among which three immunity-abusers. Mostly I am not fond of EM-users whether they are on my team or the opposing team, but in this scenario it was more than fair that he was on our side
  23. I was doubting whether I should post this in this forum section or the "stupidest sight in Tanki today"... I am usually not surprised when a duo/trio pairs up with Incendiary Band + heat immunity, but this was ridiculous: Surprisingly enough the battle ended in a draw, thanks to my amazing team - I also ended up first in our team. Nevertheless, this battle was incredibly hard to finish

    One thing I am wondering is Hopper's overdrive. How does this implementation work with the current anti-jump-hack system?
