  1. I actually do. I didn't buy it because 3950 crystals was incredibly expensive back in the days, plus it was only available for 7 days which I didnt find worth it

    [Forum Game] Answer the question

I find apples tasty. There are various types of apples, so the taste of an apple is not always the same. I like my apples fresh juicy sweet and a bit sour; too soft, sweet or bland is not to my liking. What kind of fruit do you like? Also yes, watermelons are overrated. Change my mind

Pineapples, watermelons are overrated What is your opinion on this forum-game? P.S. @At_Shin As long as those games aren't going to be too repetitive, a game should be somewhat interesting for some time. Also, sunday is fine by me. P.P.S. There is this game, which we call 'juffen' in Dutch (I don't know how it's called in English, but surely it has a name). I am too lazy to type out the game's rules so I'll just copy paste it - anyways, here's how the game works: "A player starts by calling the number 1, then the person to his left must call the next number (so 2) and so on. However, if the number contains a 7 (e.g. 7/17/27/71 etc.) or a multiple of 7 (e.g. 14/21/28), this person must call JUF*** instead of saying the number. When someone hesitates or just says the number instead of JUF***, you will have to start over again." *** In Dutch we say the word JUF, but any other word of choice is fine, being it the English version of the name or just a short catchy word. Instead of starting over again, you can also continue playing. Later on you will get to relatively bigger numbers, which make the game even more challenging. Also, you can decide to add another kind of number players should not type, for example prime numbers or repeating number such as 11, 22, 33, etc.

    [Forum Game] Answer the question

Make something new and exciting, after 50 pages this section becomes boring and most questions have already been asked once or multiple times already. To be honest, I only come to this section when I am bored. There are a ton of older forum games that have been closed for a very long time, perhaps you can find some inspiration there? When that RRE duel be coming?

The most fun you've had in Tanki

Most fun I had playing this game, was when I was still a child. When the game was an entirely new and exciting journey for me, when I used to play with lots of friends of mine, when I was dreaming of my favorite tank I would get at the end of the ride; when I had little to no true obligations and was actually free. Things seemed to be so free and innocent. Now 10 years later, I have more important stuff to do, mostly studying. I am about to obtain my Bachelor's degree in some months (hopefully) after which I will be starting a Master-study. Besides, I need to maintain my social life and I am still discovering things about me and life itself. Nowadays, I need to spend my time more wisely and on a lot of other things. Man, sometimes I miss childhood...

    Ideas for Maps!

I would like diversity in themes on maps, apart from only summer and winter. Having a substitute for the questionable dark-mode seems like a good idea to me! To add, it would be interesting if shadows of entities and buildings etcetera are stretched out on the ground due to the low position of the sun; that way, the atmosphere of dawn/dusk is even more emphasized and therefore creates a true morning or evening feeling

Shaft FTW ? EDIT: I also regularly play with Ricochet and Striker, mostly with RRE. However, Shaft has been my main weapon on this account for a long time

    Mad Tanks!

We have had a lot of exp.-boosters and fund-multipliers last couple of events for months, I am totally fine with not having one this time. Also, this is not necessarily a special event, it's merely a testing period to observe applied changes

    Ideas for Maps!

I agree on that, but for some players it's hard and unpleasant to play in a dark map, especially after having had some battles in daylight maps previously - I believe frequently switching from light and dark is also not very good for one's eyes. Another thing is that players may need to improve their graphical settings to have a better sight on the battlefield; game-devices of players who can't handle higher settings will be having less frames per second and thus poorer gameplay-quality. The Halloween event was different since tankers were constantly playing in dark-mode maps, plus they had the choice to participate in these event-maps while MatchMaking is focused on random selection.
  13. Yes, of course. I also kill whatever is in my sight, but since some players were ruining the fun for others by using an anti-K.O.-drone I might as well ruin their fun in return
  14. Lifeguard-users can be recognized by their flat triangular-shaped drone, approaching enemies from nearby or using my Shaft-scope helps me to observe my enemies, but I just tend to observe small details in general as well. Also, most players were using a Lifeguard during the event, so distinguishing their drones from others is not much of a problem, for me at least

    Let's Discuss Skins!

It can be expected that we will get new skins for turrets and hulls. Also from a marketing-perspective, it is economically beneficial for the game to release new cosmetic items
  16. I deliberately hunt down any Lifeguards I can find after the gold-drop notification, or at least disable their drones. With everyone paying close attention to the rocket in the sky, it is easy to eliminate most opponents; also a great and effective way of earning exp-points

    Congratulatory post

Congratulations again @At_Shin. Im sure you are going to make a great Forum Moderator! Best of luck and I hope you're having a great time
  18. No denying that Gauss is one of the strongset weapons in the game, if one asks for an effective weapon a best answer is Gauss
  19. Despite of the introduction of Armor-Piercing, Hornet's mechanics have not changed drastically. It functions not too different than prior to this update, however you need to be more strategic when activating your overdrive. And since the update has been rolled out some hours ago, I cannot tell if this update has had any impact on the usefulness of combinations so we will have to see how it will change the META. Anyways, medium to long-range turrets always work well with Hornet: Smoky, Thunder, Railgun, Gauss and Magnum are good choices; Vulcan, Striker are also optional if you are good at using them. But since you already have a lot of turrets, just try to find out what suits you best
  20. Only players who can buy the AP-immunity augments are protected against Hornet's overdrive. Because the augments can only be bought with Tankoins, not every one is protected against Armor-Pirecing. Also, players need to think what hull-augment they want to equip, because one can only wear 1 augment at a time. So Hornet's OD is not completely useless.
  21. To be honest, I am quite skeptical about this update. I am glad that Scout Radar is less big of a threat than it used to be, however I do have some issues with these changes. First of all, Hornet's overdrive has not been nerfed: it merely received a counter, a hull-augment, which gives players the opportunity to protect themselves against the new Armor-Piercing status-effect. The focus is here on opportunity, because developers are pushing the responsibility of having fair gameplay to the players rather than solving the problem themselves, to me that doesn't seem completely right... Secondly, introduction of above augments reintroduced the concept of Armor Piercing. Now that turrets are capable of ignoring any armor as well makes the AP-concept an even bigger threat than it previously was. Apart from the fact that "copied Scout-Radar' can be combined with other overdrives, turret AP-augments are likely to be feared by most players. This may especially be the case with Super Armor-Piercing Rounds of Railgun, which can disable any armor from several targets only to finish them after a couple of seconds (depending on the AP-duration and potential damage-nerf of which both aren't mentioned here). Generally, the other augments do appear to be balanced to a certain degree, but that does not ignore the fact that AP is becoming more present. Third issue relates to my first and second point which is that players will need to buy AP-immunities in order to protect themselves against Armor-Penetration. Assuming that these are purchasable for Tankoins only, this will put F2P playes in a weaker spot (once again) against the big rise of AP - those who buy the augment having a significant advantage over those who can't. I have had this issue with the other hull-augments too and I am absolutely not a fan of them. One can get lucky and obtain one from a container, however this is solely related to good chances and a game must not rely on sheer luck. Anyways, this is my view on this update. I guess I will have to see how this update will roll out and develop over time. Thanks for coming to my TED-talk
  22. I actually like this idea. Descriptions add an original backstory to an item and quote interesting/funny facts about it, when I am bored I sometimes start scrolling through my garage and reading some descriptions, it's quite fun. Even though there are countless of paints in the game right now, each having its own description makes each paint a bit 'unique'. It's understandable that developers have other priorities right now, letting players write them would be a good and creative solution

What to buy? Which is better?

If there isn't something you need to buy, then wait and save your crystals. Never waste your crystals only because you can allow yourself to buy something. Looking at your garage, your arsenal solely consists of Mk5s, for a Marshall that is somewhat bad - no offense, but it is the truth - if I were you, I would save for an Mk7 turret/hull, or even better a good product-kit. Since you often use Railgun and Hornet I'd suggest Legend-kit, but it's totally up to you what kit you are interested in.

What to buy? Which is better?

I'm probably too late, but if you only want the module I'd suggest you to wait for the Chirstmas Sales, or Halloween sales if you desperately need the module. It will cost you 381K to upgrade your Lion-protection to Mk7, which is almost equal to the price of a product kit. Ricochet is an interesting weapon and I use(d) it most of the time, I would recommend it to you if you are thinking of buying a Ricochet-kit

    Recommended GS for each rank?

No worries. Looking at your profile, you are doing a well job keeping yourself on both legs/tracks. You got a nice K/D for only using Vulcan and Hunter Mk1, try keeping it while climbing higher in the ranks. Back in the days I used to chug through the low ranks too with my rusty Smoky/Hunter M0 - when I hit WO2 my K/D had severly decreased so I decided to start upgrading my gear ?
