Well, you can do parkour properly only in parkour mode for which you need a PRO pass. I believe all maps are available to players with PRO pass (with rank, ofc).

Never read a more melodramatic post in my Tanki career :lol:.. On a serious note, though, it's highly dramatised version of what's actually going on. No one's out to kill the game and I'm pretty sure that TO will survive that next 5 years with no major setbacks. What you say actually contradicts itself since both, the battle creation update and global update in October were aimed at reducing the buyer-free player gap. Pro battles have been made more affordable and M3 rank limit have been shifted up so all players now have more time to save up for a good combination. All M3 kits unlock at Lieutenant General though so still possible for buyers and smart players to get good M3 combinations early on. That being said, I respect your decision and appreciate what you did for the community (even though I only joined one of those Gold rains and got 0 :c.....). Enjoy your life and don't let a video game get to you.. :D

Both games are owned by the same company. Tanki X runs on unity engine while Tanki Online runs on flash engine. However, TX is still in open beta stage. As for that mail, it is not spam but a reminder for those who had reserved their nicknames but still haven't registered. You misunderstood me. When I said trait, I didn't mean the compulsive disorder or something. Every person has some personality traits which can be used to determine their psychology. A person with a trait of gambling, for example, will always take huge risks in all spheres of life. Make the stakes bigger and such a person will always be attracted more and more to risk it all. He needn't be a gambler in literal sense at all but his personality will make it difficult for people around him. As for the negative 'traits' you mentioned, they exist in all normal humans without exception. There's nothing special about them. The traits I mean are a sort of a personality thing. Just as another example, there are people who will switch sides as soon as the status quo changes. They won't remain loyal to any cause and will do what's best for their survival. Now, such people needn't be working in the military and be a spy for another country. They show that trait in all spheres of life. They'll switch jobs as soon as they sense something is wrong with their current employer. Then there are people on the other end of the spectrum who stay loyal till the end. Of course, they have their own set of problems as sometimes, it is best to leave it and move on. So, you see, when I say 'traits', I mean the dominant characteristics which show on surface. They may be only slight or may be extreme, but they can be used to predict behaviour of that person.

They have a good reason for not implementing the ideas even though they seem flawless on the surface. They either won't work well with game mechanics or interfere with the gameplay. Now before someone links me to Kick 2, I have given through it many times. I cannot give a definite answer as to why it's being ignored but 'just cause devs are 3vil' isn't a good explanation. There could be n number of legit reasons. Maybe they have future plans for a feature that won't work with kick. Maybe they debated about it but couldn't reach a general consensus. Maybe it's not feasible to make it due to monetary or other reasons. Whatever it may be, this becomes an internal company natter and hence they obviously cannot tell us. In general, most ideas won't work in the bigger picture and players rarely see the bigger picture. Although, many good ideas gave been accepted and already implemented. You can get a list of then from the I&S section. Perhaps you were low ranked at that time so you didn't realise it, but mults and cheaters were a mess then too. Forum was filled with their complaints just like today. Losing was much worse if your team left and the enemies spawn killed you. I remember playing many such matches myself and remember the 1-2 players begging in chat, "Please don't kill me. Just let me take my part of the fund"... It was sad, really. Fortunately, The early battle termination system has reduced all of that.

Sigh... Guys, I tell you, not as a mod, but as a player who has seen Tanki grow since 2012, that what we're missing isn't actually the old Tanki but the memories we created from it. Try going to any old place and you'll find that it's 'changed now and it was better in the old times'. That's just how human mind works. Old Tanki had its own set of problems which were equally frustrating. There were rants on forum then too and people hated updates just like they do today. The only thing which, I have to admit, I don't find in Tanki anymore is its simplicity. The new features might be interesting to old players but they might not appear as 'a part of a simple game' to newer players. I might be too static, XD.... A game needs to keep developing and grow. Stagnation eventually leads to total shutdown.

As for the first part, getting 50/50 MU will give you the next modification for free but only when you reach the required rank. Because otherwise, you'll be able to MU M2 Smoky to M3 and M3 to M4 even though you shouldn't even have M2 according to rank. Also, yeah, there are big time buyers who fully MU their M1/2 stuff but they are rare and they pass lower ranks quickly.

As per EULA, you do not 'own' anything which you buy in game and Tanki has rights to change any parameter as and when it is necessary to maintain balance. The intent isn't to loot the players but simply to not allow any equipment to become OP/UP.

Great news: Map specific missions have been removed. That's one problem solved. Hopefully, we'll get more missions to cover up for this and increase mission diversity.

Sorry, but a video game isn't another universe. It's being run and played by real humans in a real world. Devs need to earn money to keep the game running and to keep a roof over their head. If you can't earn money yet, then wait for the time when you can. Then spend it as you like, no one will stop you. The more you spend, the more you'll get. That rule applies everywhere without exception.

The question itself is fine, but the nature of this forum quite isn't. Had you read the posts which were hidden above, you would have understood what kind of arguments will this topic lead to. I have no problem if you guys can keep a level head and discuss with logic, but please avoid making any posts which are discriminatory or offensive in nature.

I wasn't trying to discriminate him. For a very long time, I had a bad garage myself and I had extremely tough time working my way through Lieutenant ranks so I know how it feels when 1 hour of your hard work goes in drain within minutes as soon as a drugger as M4 equipment joins. But it's just how it works. I found ways to avoid them and build up a good garage for myself. In my opinion, if I could, then anyone can. Also, it's not like buyers have an easy life. They work hard daily to earn money too so they deserve something when they decide to spend it. This isn't discrimination of any form.

That's not changing. They were always that way. If they gamble, they'll never lose that trait. Deep inside, they will always remain a gambler no matter what.

They're nothing different from you and me. They just invest money instead of time as it is a matter of convenience to them. Game ruiners exist in all categories, not just buyers. In fact, the biggest trouble makers of them all, mults and saboteurs are rarely ever buyers.

This is pretty much the norm every year. We have a sale for buyers in early December and then garage discounts and other celebrations at the end. I don't see why anyone should complaint when this is how it has been happening for many years.

Topics Merged No. You can only use payment methods supported by the game. Even through mobile, you're actually accessing the desktop version of Tanki so there won't be any difference whatsoever.

It's not about the lack of customer service since they did actually answer you properly. Investing money into the game doesn't give you freedom to violate the rules. I understand you weren't aware of it but that again, isn't really Tanki's fault. Exceptions cannot be made when violations of rules is concerned. Closed.
