The area behind the house has been expanded, so players can't camp there anymore. Also, one of the two high platforms was removed. And NO, Polygon should not be a camping ground.

Name one thing in tanki that had the biggest nerf (with reason)

Sure, Vulcan was OP. But the worst part is the nerf of damage at range, which means that Vulcan is useless beyond short range. They took away it's damage, impact force, gyroscope ability, and made it a short range turret. What incentive is there to use it then, when you can use Twins, or Smoky, or Hammer? -
Not quite. What you have in mind is the Coanda 1910, a plane which used a centrifugal fan rather than a propeller. While the use of a fan to compress air was a step towards the first jet engine, it was missing the defining stage where air is mixed with fuel and ignited.

I don't think I've been this excited for an update in a long time. The new Polygon, Highland, and Rio look awesome! I have mixed feelings about the removal of the tunnel in Industrial Zone and I can't say I like the removal of tunnels in Solikamsk, but we'll see.

Agreed. There is more drug use because you can activate multiple supplies at once without the long smart cooldowns that previously forced you to choose between double armor and double damage. Before, you had to think which was more important at the moment: armor or damage, but now, since you can use both at once it doesn't matter. Just press 2 and 3 keys, no problem.

Actually you will have an option to use the matchmaker, create your own battle with all the options that pro pass currently provides, but for free (including a custom name for your battle), or choose a battle from existing battles. Unfortunately you will only be able to complete missions with the matchmaker.

1. You can still buy plenty of kits with crystals. 2. Greater use of supplies had nothing to do with the change in repair kit. It is because the smart cooldowns on supplies were decreased, so you can enable multiple supplies at once without using pickups. 3. You forget that you can buy the 100 supplies kit with crystals. Also supplies are so easy to get in missions. I've bought at most a couple supplies in total, yet I have over 1500 of DD, DA, and speed boost each, all from missions. 4. I fail to see how separating paints and protections encourages players to buy. 5. The cost of micro-upgrades is at an all time low, as of the most recent update. Fully micro-upgrading equipment (without speed-ups) costs the same as buying the equipment, whereas before MUs about two times more, not including speed-ups.. Besides, there are MU sales once every couple of weeks. Concerning your complaints about the time it takes for equipment to upgrade, consider that before, there were 50 upgrades, while now there are 20 (for M3 equipment). Before, there were more steps but less waiting for each step, now there are less steps but more waiting for each one. The total time however, has remained roughly the same. 6. Somehow your pay to play argument doesn't hold up. Out of all the things you listed, kits are the only pay to win aspect. But that's been true ever since the moment they came out, which was years ago, even when you could only buy them with crystals. Before kits were added to the shop, buyers would still have good kits because they bought the crystals to do so. Nothing has changed by their addition to the shop. In fact, it's better to buy crystals rather than buy a kit, because with the same money you can get a lot more.

LOL. Quite an entertaining post. :D

I find the fact that you can activate all three supplies at once far far worse than repair kit. It's not that hard to use, for crying out loud. So many people are complaining that they no longer can mindlessly charge in and become invincible with the 1 key. Before, because the smart cooldowns were quite long, if you wanted to drug you had to choose between double damage and double armor. You could choose when and then activate repair kit immediately after if needed, but you could not have both DD and DA at the same time (well you could, but only for 15 seconds when your cooldown expired). Now however, that is not that case. You can have both enabled, so there really is no reason for you not to enable one of them the first chance you get. I see so many players engaging double armor or damage immediately once they see an enemy, since they know they also can get another supply in after that. All this drugging, combined with Overdrive and the fact that there is no cooldown on Overdrive, means playing without drugs is very hard. You have to drug to stay competitive. Very annoying.

It was available only from July 8th to July 10th. This was written in the very first post of the topic, you know.

I am such a pro, I imitate all those pro Russian players such as 4NKN_KA3eJI and 6OJIbWON_HYb. I replaced my x, c, and z keys with 1, 2, and 3.

No, because Magnum requires no strategy or thinking to use. Stats are already in DPS. My questions: Will there be an option to turn Overdrives (including upcoming hull Overdrives) in pro battles? Will Magnum be nerfed? Are we currently finished with supply balance, or are there more changes to supplies planned?

No one said anything about the battle button. I don't use it either. That doesn't change what matches I get into.

I disagree. Graphics do not drive current players away. They only dissuade new ones. Long-time players are used to the graphics and play the because it's fun, but when new updates are put out, they leave. Maybe TO could use a graphics update. But it would lose some of it's "feel," which is why if there will ever be a graphics update, I hope it will improve the quality of the textures, improve effects such as lighting and shadows, and replace the current bush sprites. There's no need to significantly alter things. Besides, most players have low-end computers. For those who want better graphics, there's Tanki X.

Actually he does know more than you, because he's played the game for longer. But that's beside the point. The reason players complain about having to do missions in normal battles is because it's boring and frustrating. First, you can only play on a limited set of maps, most of which are unpopular. That is one of my main frustrations with the game at the moment. What's the point of playing if you play on the same old maps all the time, especially ones that you don't like? Second, rank brackets are huge. Right now auto-created battles are poorly balanced. You will almost always be up tiered somehow. Add drugs to the combination and completing missions is a terrible grind. Third, the mission update could have been implemented differently. The most problematic mission was "cap x flags" or "cap x points" or "finish first in battle." These could be done very quickly in 1v1 battles. However, something like "earn 300 EXP" or "earn 100 crystals" or "destroy 50 tanks" can not be farmed so easily. Yes, you can kill another tank in a 1v1 50 times over, but it takes considerable time and energy, and isn't worth it for the average player. This blatantly untrue. It's not a mind-game. I rarely drug, and when I do, I can't compete anyway, because the dis-balance at my rank is so high. For players stuck in the gap between M2 and M3, playing is extremely frustrating, because you are always uptiered because of the rank brackets and you will face drugging M3s and M4s. You cannot fight back, because your equipment simply isn't to snuff, and you can't buy M3s like you used to anyway. So I will play these battles. Drugs or no drugs I finish with something like 0.4 K/D and 200-300 EXP. You could argue that if I was more skilled, I could do better. But it doesn't matter. Brute force matters. And most of these players have been playing longer than I have (hence the higher ranks), so I cannot outplay them even with "skill." Players are right when they say it is a drug-fest. I complete my missions. But completing them is grindy, boring, and frusturating.

Used to be better. Faster projectile speed, more auto-aim, more damage at range. Now it's hard to get the projectiles to go where you want them to. -

Ricochet is still a shadow of what it used to be. Firebird is really good. It's now the same as pre-2016 rebalance Firebird except with shorter reload. -
It's an idea taken form another game. Not necessary at all, but oh well. Why exactly is that a weakness? If you are talking about incentive to play the game, that's not why people play it (at least in my experience). No, because WoT is a much more complicated game with much better graphics, sounds, etc. Of course it makes sense for a developer to ruin their own game and make no money rather than try to make more money out of it.

Hazel addressed this in a live stream at some point. Cedric has said some stuff about this too. They say that in the past 3-4 years, the game received updates rarely, and was pretty much the same game in 2013 as it was in 2015. Now they want to overhaul the game, bring it to a new, modernized state. This started in October 2016, when the great rebalance came about. All of these current updates are not random. The devs say they have a goal in mind, and admit that getting there will involve a lot of changes that may not make the game better in the short term, but will eventually pay off in the long term. We are in that transitional period currently. Problem is, most players don't care for this, and like the game how it is/was . . .

What does me using Smoky have to do anything with Viking stats? I use Firebird, Smoky, and Isida pretty much equally (just because I have Smoky equipped now or that I have more time on Smoky than others does not reflect my current turret choices). -
Orgy of light and sound? Seriously? So you are encouraged to drug in TX too, where you have an entire animation when you activate a supply? This is just aesthetic stuff. Yeah, it's annoying, but it's not as drastic as you portray it. It would be nice to have an option to turn off the sounds though.

The problem is that you can't flank them, because they're often deep inside the enemy base and you have to through a bunch of enemy tanks before you can get to them to begin with. And when you do kill them (then die inevitably because 99% of the time they derp you or other enemy tanks kill you) they re spawn seconds later. Sometimes I even lose to Magnums at short range, because they can shoot over that small obstacle that blocks my shot. Also, traverse speeds in WoT are much much slower than in TO. Often you can't even CoD a Mammoth.
