    Invisible tracks

This has nothing to do with your PC specs. Tanki Online can run on a potato. You should probably clear your cache.

Episode 138 of the V-LOG is here

Well, that's much better than expected. I'm looking forward to not having to buy pro pass all the time. But then why did we have the entire "only players with pro pass can create battles" period, if it is to be removed anyway?
  3. No one said Isida was the main turret for attacking. It's not. The main role is healing. The high damage gives it a better chance of surviving against enemies. Also, doesn't being able to destroy enemies while still having 50% of your HP sound a tad OP to you? You'd have to be really lucky, powerful, or skilled to do the same with Freeze or Firebird, provided your enemy sees you approaching, as you said. On the same point, Isida is a very deadly turret. I have an M3 Viking (fully mu'd M2) with M2 Firebird, and if I go head on against M3 Isida M3 Hornets, I will kill them but literally lose all my health. There's a pixel of HP remaining in the end. The damage decimates your tank. Sometime before the latest update to Isida the self-heal actually was lowered to 5%, and it was absolutely useless. You could kill an M4 Mammoth and only regain a fraction of your HP in a light hull. I think the current situation is a better.
  4. 1. Agreed, stupid update. Even worse is that devs are now working on a matchmaker. 2. Self-healing was removed because (according to devs) there was no easy way to balance it. Prior to October 2016 rebalance it was OP, and after it was nerfed it was UP. So self-healing was removed, but in compensation Isida was given the highest damage of all short range weapons. You can see how it compares to Firebird and Freeze on the wiki. 3. True. Although Hazel-Rah said there is a special feature coming to the hulls to distinguish them, but when this will be implemented is unknown. 4. No nerfs for Magnum. You can't completely judge a turret after not playing the game for a year and seeing it for the first time. Magnum is actually one of the more balanced turrets in the game, in my opinion.
  5. In that case you are fine.
  6. Unfortunately I don't think this will work. Maps in TO are small, and even if spawn points were randomly set they would still have to be in the same general vicinity (red base or blue base).
  7. If there's spawning-killing either your team is outnumbered or the teams are unequal equipment-wise (or they're completely incompetent). Which means it is a problem in terms of battle creation rather than game mechanics. Perhaps there could be specific bases where tanks spawn from that the enemy can't access, but maps in TO are too small for that.

There are over 3000 posts in this topic. Get real. Besides, answering players' questions isn't his main job.
  9. We have that too. Called Twins.

Yeah, I end up playing WoTB far more than WoT anyway. Game mechanics are complex enough to keep things interesting without losing the arcadey feel.
  11. Your %appdata% folder contains data from all sorts of applications on your computer, not just Tanki Online. Which is why you shouldn't delete it. All you have to do is to install/reinstall the game, you shouldn't need to delete anything. Cache is located in Appdata>Roaming>TankiOnline>Local Store>cache.
  12. I hope you deleted just the cache, and not the entire %appdata% folder . . . I have 64-bit Windows 10 and it works fine for me. Shouldn't be a problem if you save it in Program Files x86 (should do so by default) and not Program Files.

Not even a graphics update but just higher-resolution textures would be nice. I'm sure you could after having to create V-logs every week for several years.

    Why do we fight?

So if you spend money on food, then you eat it, it's wasted?
  15. We already have one. It's called Vulcan.

Tell us your cool ideas for new «Overdrives»

I like this idea. Reminds me of the thrill of gold box rains by random players in random battles, a sight that is rather obsolete nowadays. Interestingly enough in the Tanki Client's cache I found the texture for the 10 crystals box even though it doesn't appear in-game . . .

Lol, WoT is so far away from TO that comparing them is unfair. Wargaming is one of the most profitable MMO companies in the world, AlternativaPlatform is a pretty small and relatively unknown team. That said I actually don't like WoT that much because of the stupid spotting system, grind, and matchmaking. It's ok at first but unless you buy a premium tank and grind out crews for your tanks you're going to be extremely frustrated when you get insta-killed by enemies you can't even see. The terrible grind on many tanks and the fact and you can get put into matches against opponents two tiers higher than yours (I have no idea why I'm expected to fight T-32s, IS-3s, and T-54 lightweights in a T-34-85) makes the game a miserable experience for me. You can have a great match simply wrecking in a match where you are top tier, or be completely useless in a match where you are bottom tier. Sure, Tanki pressures you to buy, but that is partially because of the playerbase. For example, if in Tanki Online there were no buyers, you would generally be facing same-equipment level players. If there were no payment options in WoT, there would still be a large imbalance in equipment level because that's how the game works. Secondly, random number generator will either make you feel like the best player ever or will make you want to tear your hair out. +/-25% penetration values, aiming circles, and +/-25% damage values can be extremely annoying. Third, artillery. I knew how much players hated artillery even before I started playing WoT, but didn't really understand them until I started playing it myself. You're driving along, shooting enemy tanks, and in general doing pretty well until you get hit out of nowhere by someone who's sitting on the edge of the map, far from the action. You get your tracks blown out, your crew is stunned and/or your modules are damaged, while the enemy team obliterates your tank while you can't do anything in return. You get no warnings. Maybe artillery can't one shot you, but it certainly can and will ruin your game. I personally recommend War Thunder - it's more immersive, more realistic, has more strategic gameplay, and doesn't have invisible tanks, RNG, painful grinds, or artillery.

Tell us your cool ideas for new «Overdrives»

I like the idea of Overdrive, but having all supplies on ruins the balance. For example, just a few players on one team enable Overdrive and easily capture a flag, while the other team can't really do anything to counter it besides engaging their own Overdrives. I think it would be interesting to have Overdrive enable all your supplies for 10-20 seconds, and once that time is up, your tank will self-destruct and destroy any enemy tank within a certain radius, like the Fool's day gold boxes. That way, Overdrive would be a double edged sword and players will have to think how to set up their attack before using it.

    CLOSED — Cedric's "Virtual Office"

The thing is, in the image you posted, you will still likely be able to hit the enemy tank because of auto-aim. Sometimes it even seems like Railgun is shooting through walls (though I am not entirely sure how much of this is lag and how much of this is auto-aim). Besides, this barely affects gameplay. I personally would be against the physics changes a turret with a hitbox would bring. No, Isida is good how it is. I say this even though I play against Isida and not with it. Sure, damage is powerful, but I know that I can actually kill the thing, compared to before, when it was either way underpowered or constantly regenerating health.

I'm looking forward to the modified maps. I'm NOT looking forward to the matchmaker.

Where are all the english players gone?

Worst part is that I can read what they are writing, but can't reply to them. Wish I could play with EN players again.

You can do that with Flash too. Tanki Online has ramps on many maps, case in point. It's just easier to make buildings as blocks and tanks aren't really intended to go up there anyway, so why not.

    Winning team members quitting battle

Usually happens when someone gets in an argument with a teammate, some know-it-all decides that his team of "morons" does not deserve to win, or it's done "for the lolz." That said, it's somewhat strange to find this happen at the lower ranks (OP is WO4). I think some of these problems can be partially remedied by shorter battles. The longer the battles, the greater the effect of AFK "players" or mults.
