Testing of Matchmaking System on EU servers

I love it. Why? Because I can create pro battles for free. I am currently getting more enjoyment from this game in this one day than I have in the past several months, because I can play on maps I like or in Space mode.

Matchmaking system is only test, it will not yet be a permanent part of the game. Idk why you think no one chats, but that is probably because of merging of servers.

Well, lucky for you, in the final iteration matchmaking will be optional. You will be able to create custom battles without a pro pass, or use the matchmaker. In fact, you can do this even in the test right now! The catch is you will not be able to complete missions in custom battles.

Everyone who wasn't a hardcore drugger had a problem with the way repair kit worked.

I cannot agree with this more. The developers somehow think they can make Tanki compete with current games? The way for Tanki to stay relevant is to be irrelevant - a unique and niche game.
  7. That is not what I mean. I mean that the effort put into developing new maps is not really worth the effort for the developers. While we as players may want more maps (I certainly do), the impact their addition would have on the game would be moderate and best and they don't generate revenue, as do some other features (not that this is a good thing for the players).
  8. I wonder what 90% of your post has to do with the topic. TBH people complaining about the repair kit are the foolish ones. But whatever. Adding new maps is not the goal - it is both resource intensive and not particularly rewarding in the long run. Just look at Deck-9, Magadan, and Canyon, which were added just a few months ago. Few players play them. You can find some battles on Deck-9, mostly parkour battles on Canyon (and even those are hard to find), but I've yet to see Magadan anywhere. Even though these are old maps that took less time to develop than making a new map from scratch, they show that there is limited benefit to adding new maps, especially given there are already plenty that are not played, and many maps in general. The old maps are being changed for balance. Have you even seen any of these changes? They consist mainly of adding dedicated spawning areas that reduce spawn camping. May I ask how this is "screwing around?" Most of these changes will change gameplay for the better, and were created specifically with the upcoming matchmaker in mind, in an effort to make those kind of battles fairer (whether matchmaker battles will actually be fair or not is another question). And in my opinion, due to the addition of Magnum, many more maps need further tweaking (such as Noise).

    Patch Update #469 - Released 12th July 2017

Except that Tanki X has its own problems, and because there are few players you have to wait for ages to get into a battle. I would rather wait for custom battles.

    Ooh, interesting project.

    CLOSED — Cedric's "Virtual Office"

No. Hazel is lead developer, also his English and ability to communicate with players is worse. It was pretty vague. There is no concrete proof that he is leaving.

Agreed. Besides, Magnum players don't play on Polygon too often because it's generally a short-range battle. What are those crates underneath the ramp in the first picture? Secret area?
  13. I like the new layout. The missions tab isn't stuffed into the corner anymore. I'm also interested in the battle groups option.

    CLOSED — Cedric's "Virtual Office"

One of the things that throws off new players, I think, is the huge gap in equipment levels. It takes over 1 million EXP to get to Marshal, when you can finally buy the top equipment in the game. Spread out over that 1 million EXP are just four equipment levels: M0, M1, M2, and M3. It takes an enormous amount of effort and time to get from M2 to M3. On the other hand, getting from M0 to M1 isn't too hard. New players get used to getting equipment (relatively) quickly, but are then hit with a huge shock after M1. The devs have taken a step in the right direction to address this problem by making MUs cheaper, so the crystals are not wasted and players don't have to save up forever to level up their equipment. There are things to work for in TO, but they are extremely long term goals. It would be nice to have some short term rewards as well.

Would be awesome. In Tanki X I love running over the signs. But given the player density in TO maps destructible objects would be a one-time thing.
  17. It was. It used to do a lot more damage at range than it does now.
  18. Why? There are so many good maps for long-range turrets anyway. Does that mean the devs should make Island good for Shaft too? It's unnecessary.
  19. Meaning the damage Vulcan does drops significantly with increasing range. Past a certain point you do a negligible amount of damage.

The best thing to do is save your crystals. Don't be too concerned with M1s now, because at your rank you can only buy a couple anyway. Save until you get to a rank when you can buy an M1 version of the turret you like most.

Why Your Country is Great ?

Calm down. It's not a big deal, besides, a Romanian scientist discovered insulin, extremely valuable to people with diabetes.
  22. The towers in the center were removed. Bobruisk is a medium map. Rio is a medium map. Polygon was never intended to facilitate Shafts. Also, the less Magnums in the game, the better.
  23. Test server is closed currently. Nothing. It does not need to be lengthened, because that would facilitate camping.
  24. I think the problem of spawn-camping will only get better, not worse. The new iterations of current maps on test server have more pronounced spawning areas with barricades around them. I really look forward to those changes.
