I completely agree, they leave too many things incomplete nowadays. At least they had the decency to work on Steampunk skins for Twins and Mammoth, equipment that don't have too many skins of their own, rather than always go straight on working on more skins for Railgun and Hornet.

valid Remove the "Melee" Range Class and Rework some Turrets' Range Classes
Tanker-Arthur replied to Tanker-Arthur in Ideas and Suggestions
By the way, 110 feet is equal to 33 meters. So uh, yeah, Tanki developers were actually holding back. No one ever said Viking's height was 5 meters. People said Viking's LENGTH is 5 meters. Not the height. No they're not. Melee weapons are used for hand-to-hand combat, and the point of damage is CONNECTED to the attacker's limbs. It serves as an elongation of the limbs, essentially. Flamethrowers are ranged weapons, not melee, because the point of damage is not connected to the weapon itself or too the attacker's limbs. In fact, the only thing in Tanki that has the right of calling itself a "melee" weapon is this thing down here: It doesn't shoot any projectile that flies away from the weapon. It's the tip of the hammer that does the damage and that tip never leaves the weapon. -

Just an update from the most recent patch notes: It looks like the developers have considered Thunder to be a long ranged turret. ? -
update Patch Update #661- Released 3rd September 2021
Tanker-Arthur replied to Marcus in News Archive
I prefer the new Gauss sniping damage but I too don't like the critical hit for the arcade. -
You know, if you played the game before April 2020, these things were all optional. You didn't need to buy them to increase GS or to get stronger or anything like that lol. They were all just turret customization to be honest.

Spending 1,000+ tankcoins on coinboxes.... I was hoping to win the lottery, but all I got were partial refunds and supplies and crystals. Just FYI, I made the purchase because at the time, a bunch of forumers were posting pics of them winning big tankcoin prizes from coinboxes, so I got my hopes up too high. And I was planning on no longer buying battle passes and no longer playing Tanki full-time ever since the price hike, so might as well.

valid MM groups should have tags or indictators.
Tanker-Arthur replied to PirateSpider in Ideas and Suggestions
Basically, if we see the enemy team is spawn-camping us and 2-3 of their members have a group tag in front of their nicknames, we know playing the battle is not worth our time and so we leave and find a new one. -
Someone should make a topic called: Let's Discuss the Topic Named "Let's Discuss the Forum"

Or just remove the critical hit :D

Not really... In CTF, you need to go to the enemy base, take their flag, and bring it back to your base.... In Double Assault, you simply just grab the flag in your base and drop it off at the enemy base. And you also earn points by killing enemies. Overall, it's harder for everyone to earn points in general on CTF but it's harder to compete against the enemy team in earning points on Double Assault. And both teams in Double Assault earn points the same way, so in a way, it's way more fair than the current Assault we have now, in which the defending team usually wins unless the attacking team has a map that helps them or the matchmaking put all the high-leveled, or veteran, skilled players, or buyers on the attacking team and the blue team has the "worse" player composition.

Was Tanker's Day made to celebrate people like me? Considering I'm one of the very few players in the game who have "Tanker" in their nicknames...

What is this? Was this Gauss HD or was it just a test to Gauss' Ultra skin or something like that? I'm wondering because we just got Firebird HD in the game, yet what we though was Gauss HD was shown to us several months ago yet we never heard anything of it again since. So did the developers forgot about Gauss HD or was the thing in the image never suppossed to be Gauss HD, it was something else like a test to Gauss Ultra or a new skin entirely?
-
They probably didn't want to annoy the parkourists.......
-
You guys forgot Gauss HD
-
I already did. :( Yeah, you're free to use it, but it doesn't belong in a game called "Tanki" because its not a tank. It's a hovercraft. Now if the game was rebranded into something more broad, like "Battle Machini" then walkers and hovercraft would fit the game, as well as tanks. Just an example.
-
Those are cool ideas, but this game is called "Tanki". I feel like the game should just be about tanks, the vehicles which travel on the ground using tank tracks. If the hull uses legs or hovers and never touches the ground, it's no longer a literal "tank", its now a "robot" or a "walker/mech" or a "hovercraft/plane". Doesn't really fit into the name of the game. Figuratively, it could still be a "tank" if it has high health and can "tank" a lot of damage in comparison to other hulls, but still, in the literal sense, it's no longer a tank.
-
Since they forgot, I'm happy. Firebird doesn't need any stupid EMP, AP, Stunning, Jamming, or Freezing augment. Doesn't make sense why it would have those status effects anyway. It's a flamethrower.

What Is Your Opinion About the Current State of Tanki Online?
Tanker-Arthur replied to Maf in Game Discussion
YES Bruh, the reason why topics such as "Nerf Viking's Overdrive" get so much backlash is because we aren't allowed to include other ideas to go along with it, like ideas to nerf other hull overdrives so that the Viking nerf feels more balanced. So if we just say we want Viking's OD nerfed, people will hate on the idea because we aren't allowed to post the bigger idea for our idea, in which we want multiple different overdrives nerfed. So the haters think we want to ruin their favorite hull but in reality, we just aren't allowed to post a topic saying "We want the following overdrives to have these nerfs" or something like that. They always get declined and we have to make a topic for each nerf, and some people don't bother to read all of our topics. Just using ODs as an example to explain it by the way. -
valid Magnum protection should protect you from Mortar mines
Tanker-Arthur replied to frezeandvik in Ideas and Suggestions
I agree, I think all damage-dealing parts of a turret and its respective alterations should have their damage reduced by the turret's protection module. The following things should also be in the game: Vulcan protection should also protect you from Incendiary Band afterburn Smoky protection should also protect you from Smoky's Incendiary Rounds afterburn Railgun protection should also protect you from Railgun's Incendiary Rounds afterburn Hammer protection should also protect you from Dragon Breath afterburn Firebird protection should also protect against Firebird's afterburn -
You guys forgot about the 5 Tesla turrets giveaway that was announced several months ago...
-
My original primary turret. :D Too bad Heat immunity nerfed it to the grouuund.
-
Well, they sorta listened like....75% of the way. Still not fond of any turret still having a critical hit and not really fond of Shaft still doing over 3k damage per hit..... BUT AT LEAST THEY NERFED GAUSS :D

I only like it if the tier 50 tankocoin reward on the free track was 500 tankcoins.
