    Please remove this pop-up rubbish when trying to access missions on Flash. Getting totally sick of this games attitude to its players now. It's like Devs see it as our duty to migrate & test HTML5 for their benefit, or are desperately trying to push those that still use flash for whatever reason to HTML5 cos the numbers of actual HTML5 players are not looking good. Not my problem. You fix HTML5's many issues cos I don't care. That's devs job & I have my own living to earn. I am here to chill by playing a game that's now becoming an ever-increasing PITA chore. I will migrate to HTML5 if I want to when Flash version ends, not when Tanki tells me...stop trying to dictate crap to me. When flash version ends I will switch to HTML5 and judge this game as a new game. If it's any good then great. If it doesn't stack up then this game will go the same way as other games I've got rid of. In the meantime, I'm using Flash for nostalgia cos I know it's being discontinued. Ruin this for me as you currently are and I will not migrate to HTML5 Tanki, simple as that. At least make the pop-ups removable in game settings or they automatically stop hassling me after 5 or so pop-ups.

    5 days premium is achievable in 10 days, especially as it covers 2x weekends. So that's a good mission and better than the 100k BPoint nonsense that a past special mission had... Rest of missions are...Meh!! Destroy 1k heavies = 100 kills a day, big ask in terms of time to achieve...perhaps made easier with amount of easy kill non-upgraded Ares' in battles. Use Ares OD = easy + cheap mission. Win 100 battles = for speed boosts....pffft! Destroy 150 tanks with mines = 15 kills a day, easy!..no faith that ultras are worth the hassle though. Luck-based reward. Siege Mission = no thanks!...no interest in just playing Siege over & over...boring!...why put so many modes in the game then add missions that ask you to no-life 1 mode for 10 days?...just stupid IMO.

    Quite enjoyed using Ares on my lower rank account. Need to think ahead about how you're gonna escape with flags, travel maps.etc cos controlling the thing is new & odd. I like it though. It's Overdrive plasma is too slow. Personally think we should be able to speed up plasma shot by hitting shift again. ... press shift to fire the plasma, press shift again and it moves much faster, something like that. Non-heavy hulls can easily escape it. Healing effect is useful and will cut down RK use. Will get it on this account during 50% sale and gradually upgrade it...look forward to seeing what mk8 version does with drone support. Loads of barely MU'ed Ares' in battles with people trying to achieve Ares OD special mission = easy kills, nice!

    Got hardly any chance of completing the 1 or 2 missions I planned to do this Weekend thanks to server problems yesterday, which seem to have returned today. Deadline for these missions should be extended.

    Bugs and Glitches Reports [Closed]

    Can't get into battle on flash client. Doesn't complete Loading to login screen....close and reload loads of times and can get to login eventually. Even then the game doesn't load into battle. Click battle mode, game starts loading then screen turns black & nothing happens. Losing patience with this game now, so many problems with it. Don't think the compensation was good enough yesterday too. Looks highly likely I'll miss out on 1 or 2 Special missions now.

    Most likely they're exploiting battle score increasing support Drones whilst using Dictator. You get some battle score for each teammate u boost with certain Drones, trickster gives 10bs for each boosted teammate. They give battle score(shown when u press TAB in battle), but crucially, not experience(shown on ratings page). Like I say Dictator also gives 10 battle score for each teammate boosted by its OD, but no exp. So basically, they're exploiting that feature of these Drones + Dictator. They can top score easily in modes like TDM, where only kills count and no teammate scores get increased by captures. These bs-boosts can rack up score at a couple of touches of buttons that a normal player might take a few minutes to accumulate while going for kills in TDM. Could probably top score even if they play complete crap. The dudes using this exploit to the max are barely helping their team, beyond giving them boosts...not attacking enemies or going for battle objective.etc. Their goal is to score minimal exp for max cry so they don't want to contribute anything other than teammate boosts. This is Tanki's idea of a perfectly efficient player, a clown that u know is only boosting u for their own benefit, let's u do all the hard work while they often gain more rewards than the people that actually make a difference in battles. LOL!...so much nonsense in this game nowadays. Now as for improving KD...another part of the efficiency rating equation...Using battle Score boosting with Dict+Drone mentioned above isn't good for KD. Likely to get killed every now and again but never getting kills. So how is their KD good?...They may well be rigging pro battles or cheating in some other way with their mates to boost KD.

Last paragraph says my opinion on this, which hasn't changed. https://en.tankiforum.com/topic/373804-xt-skins-drones-balance-update/page/6/?tab=comments#comment-6546934 But in this case the drop in user numbers was so obviously cos of this exp boost you'd expect them to do something about it from that info alone.
  9. Would severely lower the OD charging rate myself, or do the opposite to what u suggest and allow it to ignore DA but not modules. Huge amount of effort gone into buying my modules only to have Hornet OD ignore them at the touch of a button...but doubt this will happen. Any nerf will do so I support this. Not losing sleep over it cos often things are OP in Tanki and sometimes you gain sometimes not. Hornet has had it's time, change is needed. And this is coming from a Hornet mk8 owner BTW. ... Will have to be nerfed when Ares is added anyway IMO. Can't have a new hull that needs to be sold being humiliated by a ridiculously overpowered Drone supported hornet OD. Will be like trying to sell an old banger motor to a Ferrari owner.

IF the whole idea of the extended exp boosts is to get a bunch of guys that benefited from the mk update to rank out of the range of newer players, then perhaps last weeks events & some decent challenge rewards will have enticed some of them to play and rank-up. Anyone happy to rank-up fast would have done so by now. Can't force anyone that doesn't like these boosts to play and rank-up. Besides, logical way to fix the inbalance MK update caused was through matchmaking. I have gained from these boosts but sometimes u gotta take a look at the bigger picture. All the boost seems to do is discourage too many from playing ....If too many guys are discouraged to play the game, they have plenty of time to do other stuff, will they come back?...very risky strategy from Tanki IMO. User numbers weren't that impressive in the 1st place, now they're much worse. Actually surprised Devs haven't pulled the trigger on these boosts yet.

    Flash client is a total shambles. Usual lag Takes ages to load missions screen. Annoyingly loads the mission screen when in battle minutes after I tried to look at missions. Close mission screen and it loads again at least 3 times. Often takes ages for tank to appear once loaded into battle No damage caused far too often, usually after it took ages to join battle, just to annoy even more. Every 3rd battle...error. Old issue that still isn't fixed. Do 2 battles and have to reload the game, total PITA. Also, have to unequip Drone after every battle cos it's just wasting batts joining junk lagfest, error-filled battles that I have to leave immediately.

    Or you could simply go for an easier personal aim from these missions. i.e...just try for the Flying ace mission... 400 kills for 2 Ultra containers using Hyperion, crisis or Brutus(cheap Drone) 10 kills per battle takes 40 battles. Most players will be doing at least a couple of battles a day anyway for daily missions. So I'll knock 6 battles off that 40 to find what it'll cost us extra in time/ resources for those 2 Ultras. So say 10 kills per battle takes 34 extra battles. =238 mins = 4hrs in 3 days resources used = 238 batteries & a lot of drugs(obviously!, in this game nowadays) Extra Rewards while you're doing this are... higher funds. challenge stars & rewards Maybe even aim for UFO event 10 pit stop box reward for using 700 SB, you could probably do it in 4 hrs if you seek out SB drops & use a bunch of your own SB. You should get UFO event reload mission for using OD's...50 of each supply back. Toxic shot effect UFO mission...if u want it. Completing all these independence day missions is designed to rinse drugs cache of hardcore players/buyers. Especially as these missions have been added a few days after a bunch of no-lifers already used loads of resources to complete the UFO missions & the challenge already. Many on this topic are thinking the whole of these missions are not worth it, true in most cases. But you can still get something out of it. In the example above it depends on luck of what u get from those 2 ultras.

    Destroy 1000 Tanks for 8 Ultras and a return of 150 batts used is a decent enough event. If you get lucky with the containers it could be profitable. Will have a go at a couple of missions if I get time.

    Regarding someone being angry about this nerf...How do you think a Defender user that blew 500k+ crystals earned as a free player or someone that recently blew hard cash for it is going to react to this nerf? A Drone they spent loads of hours earning has had its defensive power slashed in half. The 30 second active duration is totally pointless for most types of player. A camper sniper or heavy hull user might get decent use of the 30 IF they avoid enemy OD's or other Drone users, but most players wont. As I said above, this game is a slaughterfest now, loads of ways to get one-shotted or destroyed extremely quickly, even with a def boost. Best use for pre-nerf Defender in current Tanki was in short bursts of attacks before enemy has time to take you out, not anymore. Now yes, it needed a tweak of the 200%, but a straight 50% nerf of the paramater that attracted players to buy it is totally ludicrous. Basically, it's like admitting it was totally dumb to have such a big Def boost in the game for so long. This is one of a few reasons this game loses players. They dump OP nonsense into the game which annoys anyone that doesn't own it. People then start buying that OP gear for cash and by the time f2p have blown loads of crystals MU'ing it, they then nerf it, which annoys everyone effected. Especially now there's such a sly way of announcing these rebalances, on a locked Patch update topic hidden away on an obscure part of forum that no-one can comment on. Some will be using this drone, eating up their supplies not realizing how junk it is now. Funny thing is seeing people content that others get their gear nerfed, when this buff/nerf mess is gonna end up contributing to the demise of the game they enjoy. How can someone spend money on this game or play to earn gear with confidence that their gear won't be nerfed to oblivion soon?

    Defender nerf is total trash IMO... Increase of active time is worthless in a slaughterfest game like this is now. So many powerfull OD's, turrets & splash damage around it's unlikely you'll get use of 30 seconds the vast majority of time. Maybe in an easy walkover battle, but then why bother using Defender then anyway? Massive nerf of a piece of equipment people put in a lot of effort or cash to own. Typical of this game now, it's as if they want to piss people off.

    It is not "quite easy" for f2p to get a good full MU'ed garage of a few turrets, hulls, drones, modules, drugs, etc within the confines of normal gameplay...which is what TS is eluding to. In fact, it's extremely difficult if you make common mistakes with early rank purchases and then don't take advantage of certain things like sales, events or container premium during x2 funds. Even then it takes many 100's of hours of battling and takes a lot of patience to wait for sales. MU'ing gear once during sales takes ages. especially mk7 gear. Yes!!, definately possible, but not easy in a game where devs like to have OP nonsense combos in it that make any combo that you have that is not OP look like junk after you spent 100's of hours mu'ing it, which happens at an ever increasing rate as you rank up. In fairness f2p can get lucky if devs happen to buff their equipment, then you gotta make hay while the sun shines and rinse everything you can out of the game, saving crystals to buy the next OP joke combo devs callously dump into the game. Always the same with guys that complain about equipment expense, they all made the mistake of buying too much gear early on. Buy too much gear and you're disadvantaged against the ones that didn't, especially buyers and high ranks on their alt accounts...you then see your rewards get gradually worse as you rank up and simply cannot keep up. Especially now ranking up is stupidly quick for newbies that just play the game normally and are not clued up about the game.
  17. Tanki will have to change this update IMO. Won't be long before the guys that want to rankup slow realise that playing more pro battles maintains exp/cry rate at a sensible level. Less players in MM is not what Tanki wants. Then you have another issue...even more inactive players in battles. Better off not earning any exp in MM battles and do missions like collect supplies or finish battles to keep weekly mission progress ticking over. Progress will be much slower, but it costs nothing but a few deaths as mults pause their way through battles and contribute bare minimum. No doubt quite a few will like this update tho...can see why. But if it also puts off a few premiumers from buying premium (as it no longer maintains their e-rating barring some exceptions)..then this update will be adjusted. Guess it depends how many high rated players care about e-rating, I guess we'll find out. These guys would also be better off in Pro battles now. IF it was a straight x2 / x2 boost then this update would make more sense. The ability to choose whether you want this boost or not would be ideal for all.
  18. This is just a reason for at least 2 types of player to not bother playing the game. Firstly...most non-legends. Thinking about my mid rank alt account. I'm better off not playing on that account which did ok from the mk update. Wait till all players that also benefitted inevitably rank out of my range, then when I come back to that account I'm in the minority of players with OP gear for my rank. In fact anyone that doesn't wanna rank too fast is discouraged to play. Then there's legends who want to keep a high efficiency rating. Ratings are heavily influenced by experience/crytal ratio. Only way now to improve rating is with premium & Dictator + Drone that awards battle points without earning exp. In fact this pretty much makes all previous ratings now obsolete as players over the coming months will be disadvantaged by having a worse exp/cry ratio, even with premium. Anyway, let's see how it goes.

    Tanki Birthday Special Missions

    Firstly..RK is one of the most useful resources in the game. Using them wisely converts into increased chances of higher winnings of battle funds, especially during x3 funds week(x6 if you have premium) Secondly...Giving away Lifeguard yesterday probably resulted in a lot of newer players that know little about drones wasting loads of RK by overusing Lifeguard, which should be used rarely compared to other superior drones cos it's an RK muncher drone that is best used in Gold events. 111 RK's gives players that spent a lot of RK learning about Lifeguard a chance to restock. I've got loads of RK and had no interest in Lifeguard but am happy enough cos I got them by just logging into the game.

  22. It's all about luck...Well that's gambling. One donator blows loads of cash in the game to get an item but gets nothing they wanted then might have to face off against another donator with superior gear that just got lucky. How lame. Amount of cash you guys ask from your donators is absurd. A big donator could have blown thousands on this game over many years and come back to the game now being heavily disadvantages cos they haven't got the latest fad P2W items. To play the game with the same advantages they paid good money for before, they now have to blow more insane cash. And if they're the type of buyer that has a limited but useful(to you guys)budget to spend per month they simply cannot get these items. Some people don't want to spend more than x amount on one microtransaction on any MMO game, Tanki doesn't consider them when they add these expensive OP items. Then there's people that only want to buy aethetic items like paints and skins. Before when OP stuff was added to the game an aethetic buyer always knew they could get that OP stuff if they tried hard enough and saved crystals. Now? nope!..same can be said of F2P and all small or medium donators to the game. Also, I said it before and I'll say it again, some people simply don't want to gamble with their money. Tanki is alienating people that supported this game for years.

    Missions or container rewards wouldn't get added to profiles afaik. These guys are cheating by rigging funds in pro battles with their mates. So it's thanks to cheats like this that pro battle funds get removed. Game development will not accept this..it's not in the games interest to have a group of players gaining such an easy advantage. I've read on here about the drone/dictator exp/cry exploit but it doesn't stack up in this case. Most definately gonna end up with a situation where highest e-rated player in Tanki has easily gained that rating with advantages majority of the player base can never get honestly. Some care about it, some don't. It's inevitable that any kind of in-game rating is gonna appeal to at least part of the player base. Tanki knows this, that's why they added it and monetized it by giving advantage to premiumers.

These guys are cheats....I don't care about ratings but the fact is people are actually paying money for a high rating and these dudes are cheating them. Should absolutely be clamped down on. They also easily obtain game currency through cheating that you and I have to fight for hours in competitive battles to get. Currency which is used to improve their equipment that they then use against honest players, especially during events. Could say that about all premium players tho. exp/cry ratio is always boosted by premium, especially during x2 funds. If you buy premium you are far more likely to get a higher rating for the exp/cry boost alone, let alone the fact that permanent premium boosts your garage too. Making it more likely you can get OP fad items when they're added to the game. Particularly things like a full MU defender drone which will inevitably boost KD of any decent player. Only chance for non-premiums is gaming the system by stashing containers, opening during x2 funds and hoping for premium. This involves playing the game bare minimum during normal fund times and no-lifing x2 fund times. A game feature that discourages anyone from playing and encourages cheating is counter-productive. But it does trap buyers into blowing money on maintaining their ego efficiency rating, which keeps the game alive, so I guess that's a good thing. Quite a clever system when you think about it.

    Yup!..might even be good way to improve your advantage if you gained from MK update. Limit your time on your OP accounts, play on other non-OP accounts if you have them or even create a new one if you really want to play the game...wait for other OP guys to rank out of your range then there's less OP guys in your rank range to fight.
