    Get rid of tankoins

Needs to be more Tankoins in weekly containers. Amount of Tankoins realistically winnable by your average player is far too low. Can understand Tanki not wanting to screw up Tankoin currency like they did with crystals, but the chance of gaining a decent amount of Tankoin needs to be higher.

Episode 255 of the V-LOG is live!

Cringed watching those 2 vids. An OP supposedly light Tank+Drone+brick that just hangs around amongst a group of enemies obliterating everything it points at. Amazes me that devs dumped that nonsense into the game. Then a whale account thrashing newbies. Pffft!! The idea of x2 exp for Tanki B'day and lockdowns is probably to get some of those that gained Overpowered gear from the MK update to rank up out of the range of newbies and mid ranks. It's quite a clever idea, although I agree it's inconvenient if you don't want to rank up.

    A token of apology

Thanks for the premium! Seeing so many dudes in battle without premium though, I guess they didn't collect it.
  4. No idea where they're getting that idea from cos it makes little sense to me. Unbalanced, chaotic battles are absolutely not a chance to play in a more relaxed manner, quite the opposite IMO. Especially when it's a system out of your control which you have no idea how it works that's lumping you into that battle to get creamed (or an easy boring win). Wiping the floor with opposing teams due to unbalance also doesn't keep me in the game. It's a quit while I'm ahead mentality. I have one hopeless cause battle followed by an easy win and say that'll do for now, missions done in that easy win, I'm off before I get another duff battle. Now speaking from personnal experience I do take a short break after a run of good balanced battles, but I usually come back quite soon. A short session of unbalanced battles and I just leave for the day. The key point that completely unravels devs thoughts on this from my viewpoint is I'm far more likely to jack the game in for good or take a long break from it if the rate of unbalanced battles is too high, they are not enjoyable or engaging to me. MM gives you something to blame for being dumped into a hopeless cause. As soon as a feature of the game itself is causing you to be annoyed, it turns you against the game. Yes!..you may still have a chance for stars or whatever, but getting extra stuff is only a motivator if the game you're playing is worth the effort. I play a Tank game to be involved in good tank battles first and foremost, the rest is just icing on top that increases the probability that you gain more from those good tank battles, by buying better gear to be more competitive. There are some good battles to be found in this game, nowhere near enough though.

    Discount Weekend - May 2020

Based from what what I've seen from battles I've been in this is 1.75x experience points from Lockdown 3.0 event...with x2 crystal funds, not 1.75 funds x 2.

Episode 254 of the V-LOG is live!

From what I remember of crystal box mults they'll be useless. Most likely will have no interest in battling and will just camp near dropzones with dictator or run around with barely upgraded Wasps + speed boost. Sitting ducks and cannon fodder. Might also get more people starting new accounts to target these cry box mults rather than newbies that are playing to win. Seems like a good time to start a new account with high damage turrets and snipe away.

Episode 254 of the V-LOG is live!

Thing about crystal boxes is you'll get a whole load of players that left the game when cry boxes were removed coming back to the game just for that feature, plus new ones too, as it's a game in itself that appeals to a certain type of guy(each to their own I guess). So they start new accounts, mult around collecting boxes till they hit the rank where cry drops stop, then restart a new account. Will be good target practice for newbies. Good idea.

Episode 254 of the V-LOG is live!

Novelty Drone will be OP if it's exclusively in Ultras, only available to those willing to gamble big bucks. Another update that favours gambling Whales over any other buyer or f2p not willing to blow insane cash on 1 item. This game lacks respect for large sections of the player base that have supported it for years..

    Ideas for Missions!

Actually think Tanki should not have any special missions that require use of a particular equipment. Special missions should be inclusive, all of us should be able to achieve the mission if we want(or have time). These types of mission are not inclusive as not everyone has the required equipment in first place.
  10. Based on how much you've played for the last 2 weeks, you would have gotten Avalanche or any other kit you wanted far quicker with the idea I suggested a few days ago...People should get extra perks based on how much they play or buy(as long as those perks are not excessive OP). With my idea, Non-buyers get their Kit sooner, buyers get a cheaper kit sooner, Tanki get more players in battles and a Tankoin kit sale....Win-win-win. You're Welcome all!

    Lockdown 3.0 Final

Will complete the "because we love you" mission for 2 containers. Thanks! Evolution of confidence + community immunity are good missions, but I suck at gold hunting so I'll give that a miss. Not bad tho.

    30xp but 13k cry?

Since it's often buyers that do this stuff you'd assume they could just buy stuff for their mates in return. No need to give loads of cash to Tanki for better gear, when you can pay some minions a fraction of that amount in premium during sales(or whatever) to just build funds for them.
  13. TaffyTank

    30xp but 13k cry?

It's power leveling and has been happening for years. They create battles with friends, build up the fund and rig who gets the fund to ensure the winner gets as little exp as possible for maximum crystal gain. These guys gain a massive advantage over everyone else. Power levelers get these rewards for nothing. Yes!..they buy, but so do a lot of others that don't get these gains as they choose to play the game as it should be played.
  14. Wouldn't matter if the rotation of shop kits was based on you earning experience in battles to force the rotation. Example...Each time you earn 2k (or whatever) battle or exp points the rotating product kits' rotate to a new bunch of kits. Could be like a mission counter above the rotating shop kits that says something like “earn 2000 points in battles to change these kits”...once you've earned the 2k you then get the option of clicking a “change” button on screen to change the kits. Wouldn't automatically change as some might want to keep those kits available as they were close to saving up enough crystals or Tankoins for them. Could also make it so you can simply buy the rotation for a small Tankoin fee, so you can take a chance that you'll get a discounted Tankoin kit you wanted rather than paying for the more expensive permanent kits that might be above your spending limit. Effectively it's like a mission that encourages you to battle to speed up the process of kit buying, based on how much effort you put into it...so people will play more in order to get their kit faster. One issue would be if you end up ranking up in the process and the kit you wanted wasn't available at your new rank. Better off aiming for a superior kit in that case anyway and you could plan for it. Anyway, there's one idea of probably a few that actually encourages us to play the game to get the rewards...the way it should be.

  16. People have been ranting about updates on the forum for ages. What I've seen is that the general pattern is..Tanki adds an upopular update to the game and most players rage against it on the forum or lobby, but they stay on the game for a bit because they liked the game or have invested time or money into it, possibly hoping Tanki revert the update or to see what the update is like before making the final decision. Then, a few weeks later the user numbers start declining. Now yesterday was double funds day where numbers should be higher as players take advantage of the funds by playing longer...yet was only attracting 15000 to 16500 users during busiest period of the day with a spike up to 17500 for an hour during peak time. Today is not double funds so we will start to see the impact of this update, particularly the xpbp fund nuke.
  17. Question is would you blow 122500 crystals on it in a 50% sale if you didn't own Nanobots?..I doubt Nanobots will make you much more crystals than stock Isida would if you're forfeiting kills for heals. Sure!..It's nice to heal and there's an argument that Isida healer helps win more battles. But as a healer chances are you'll win less share of those victory battlefunds than an attack Isida that loses more often but gets more kills/flags/stars etc.. Mid ranks need gear that pays for itself over time and can be used to buy new garage options,. In fact you could just straight up buy other turrets/hulls instead of Nanobots. All Isida Augments are way overpriced IMO. Isida needs a better Augment.
  18. Same!..And certainly wouldn't entertain the thought of paying 245k (or even 50% discounted) for Nanobots augment. Use mine as an attacker mainly and heal as much as I can if no enemies around. Used to be teammates would back up their Isida teammates, go out of their way to help you out in return for heals and block incoming fire coming at you. Nowadays, u get left as cannon fodder, sod you Isida as long as I'm alright, I got my heal from you now you're on your own. Different story if you play with friends ofc....random players, nope!

    Heat immunity and Incendiary Band

Look at the top crystal earners ratings this week and see how Overpowered this is. Says it all. Have been facing these constantly this week. Another money maker for Tanki as the latest flavour-of-the-month equipment is guaranteed to sell like hotcakes to those that love to win every battle easily with no challenge whatsoever.

    Augments are back!

There are different types of buyer on MMO games. Some support the game with massive amounts of cash constantly. Some will spend a couple of hundred in one go, then that's all they're willing to ever spend. Others will gladly donate 5 or 10 bucks a month and that's their limit, out of personal circumstance or simply because they don't want to spend more than that on any MMO game in any 1 transaction. Adding expensive in-game advantages favours one type of buyer over another. Why should a buyer that's donated 100's or even 1000's of bucks to the game with 100's of micro-transactions over many years be disadvantaged by a new update cos they don't want to blow 40 bucks in one go, on a game they've already blown loads of cash on?...Expensive paints and skins is one thing, they give no battle advantage. Expensive in-game advantages are making this game into pay-to-win wallet wars. Besides blowing cash on this game is risky. Tanki have a history of effectively nerfing stuff you buy. Look at EMP alteration for Gauss as a prime example. If you bought it from the shop a few weeks back you'll now see there are new expensive hull augments that render it useless.

    Augments are back!

It's easy to get these Tankoin Hull alts. All you need to do is use hundreds of thousands of drugs to collect 36000 stars to complete 36 challenges. In the meantime complete every single mission to collect every weekly container till you have 468 weekly containers, then you'll have enough tankoins from challenges and weekly conts to buy a hull alt in a year and a half. Should only take a few thousand hours of your life. pffff!!! Obviously I joke, but when you look at it like that the cost is insane. Another source of Tankoins is needed I reckon. Or a buff on weekly container Tankoins. All things in the game that give in-game advantage should be available to free players and anyone that supports the game with small or medium donations..with a reasonable amount of effort dependant on the quality of the item. Main reason to not have loads of people with these Tankoin Hull effects seems to be that it'll be bad for fire/freeze/hunter & whatever else problems these immunities create. Why add them into the game then? now they're in the game they're giving an advantage to whoever has them, while most others wont have them for ages. And the Turret Augment prices are total insane too. 245k to make Rico or Twins a bit better at long range?. Nah!! On the plus side, I bought some of the cheaper alterations for some of my turrets before they got moved to containers. Thunder Subcaliber bought for 25k (i think) is now costing 245k.
  22. The share of the fund that each participant gets would be exactly the same as the current fund distribution in all other battles. You fight in battles and you get rewared with a share of the fund based on how you fought in victory or defeat. With my idea, in XpBp battles you get no share of a battle fund unless you first do a simple MM special mission. 1) It doesn't give more income compared to a couple of weeks ago though. And that income seemed to be acceptable to Devs for many years until, all of a sudden, they implement this. The current income of a format player just got completely nuked, so obviously Xpbp player income is gonna be higher than 0 with my idea. 2) Really? It's no different than your average PRO player that plays MM for easy missions then goes back to PRO. Getting an XpBp player to play 2 or 3 MM battles a day would be a good result for Tanki, compared to them playing for 0 battles when they ragequit Tanki. Besides, find other ways to fill up MM battles without trolling a chunk of the player base. You already suggested one in another topic by rotating Modes on the mm mode list. Your last point is true..but two wrongs(or several in Tanki's case)doesn't make a right. This is a game in a world jam packed with other games. If it doesn't satisy it will be discarded. The user numbers for this game back this up. MM players are getting sick of this game and leaving, so they dump this change on format players to prop up the numbers to make MM work, they get annoyed and leave. Genius!
  23. But you don't get x2 premium funds, renders buying premium pointless for the Xpbp lot. This game needs ways of getting new money from players. One way for a player to progress was to aim to effectively unlock XpBp by getting the xpbp gear and a suitable rank where there are enough battles around to grind in. The grind is made much shorter with Premium(obviously), crucially in a format you enjoy. XpBp premium earnings can then be used to improve your garage until you're guaranteed to be competitive in other formats for a relatively small amount of cash, but still a better-than-nothing amount of cash. Also worth remembering that an Xpbp buyer can unlock their preferred combo as a shop kit at an earlier rank. So 1 kit and premium and you're likely to be set in the game in all formats. Personally, I think this update is counter-productive and costs Tanki money. As I said earlier, you're more likely to get the XpBp crowd into MM with an incentive. As it currently stands, they'll quit as XpBp is the polar opposite to current MM which is so unbalanced. So no extra players in MM, compared to many if they were encouraged to join 2-3 battles a day with an incentive. I'll put it this way, Tanki Devs are asking many XpBp players to play this game the complete opposite to what they enjoy. It's a killjoy update.
  24. Thing is though, there's plenty of XpBp players that pay or have payed into the game with premium. Poly CP & Sandbox CTF yielded good crystal rewards, so players would buy premium and grind there with x2 premium funds. Pointless buying this premium now.
  25. If they mean MM takes forever to load into battle then that problem is made worse by having so many modes. This reduces the pool of players queuing to join battle on any mode at one time, especially at off-peak times of day. There have been strictly XpBp players in this game for years, why the sudden push to get them in MM?. And the point of my incentive is simple, to get xpbp players to actually join MM battles to score enough points so they can get back to XpBp, rather than simply quit the game for good, what use is it if they quit?. I've played enough XPbp to know its a different game to MM. If you really want to play XpBp as your main route of progression then this fund nuke is utter garbage, something you will quit over, I can guarantee that.
