    Ideas for Missions!

    Have a daily recurring special mission where if you score 500 (or whatever)points in MM you unlock the ability to earn battle funds in XpBp format battles for that day. Mission is accessed through the "special" tab where all other Daily and Weekly missions are shown. Complete it and you're free to go and earn crystals in XpBp battles. If there are players in xpbp battles that haven't done this special mission, their share goes to waste and is not shared amongst everyone else in that battle(or this will be exploited).
  2. This XpBp change needs to be reverted or if you want XpBp players in MM.... I would prefer the option of an incentive than a punishment for the majority of honest format players because of the actions of a few mult-using clowns. Fought in plenty of battles where some saddo mult dog would effectively help grow the fund for ages by actually trying, only to suddenly disappear into garage at the command of his master in the opposing team until the dogs team crumbles. Especially in xpbp Poly where every participant is crucial in a tight battle and holding the tunnel is decisive. Only thing was, it tended to even itself out over time, win some lose some cos of these fools. Knew these plebs would ruin the game one day & Tanki haven't helped with their inablity to tackle them. They've been offered several Ideas on this forum from plenty of smart forumers on how to deal with "boosters", yet they've rejected them all in favour of a shambolic version of matchmaking and a nuke option on XpBp...which is a warning shot to cheaters elsewhere in the game but totally unfair on honest players. Find a better way to deal with cheats and stop punishing the people that just wanna play the game honestly.

    NEW Ultra Containers

    Gambling is not cool for many people. You're relying on the game you're gambling on being trustworthy, which is never. The suspicion is that the “house” always rigs the game to fill their pockets. I particularly don't trust Tanki because they have a track record of finding ways of carelessly nerfing stuff people pay for. F2P and buyers not willing to blow their cash on gambling items are now disadvantaged because certain alterations are powerful and a full stock of alterations is unstoppable. Even if you're a buyer that's supported this game for years that would be willing to lump a few bucks a month into buying Ultras, the odds are not good that you'll get your preferred alteration, especially if you have loads of turrets/hulls with not many alterations and not many of the loads of paints that are in the game. Would help if.... of the first 10 alterations we got from Ultras we could specifically pick what alterations we wanted. I reckon Tanki would sell more ultras like that because all types of buyers would be less suspicious that it's a con or unaffordable. Free players would at least have a decent hope of getting a preferred alteration to provide better competition to buyers(the whole point of having F2P in MMO games). Big buyers would quickly get the first 10 alterations on their accounts, but after that they're trusting to luck. But of course, best idea is to have alterations available to all, but you guys have a tendancy to not revert hated updates, so I'm just looking to get something a bit more acceptable from what is looking like an especially bad update. This game is now at the point where to have the latest OP stuff you have to be a lucky gambler.
  4. Those that gained from this conversion will not rank up any time soon if they have a few accounts, because that's the aim of a multi-account player. Most well known way to play this game is to have a few accounts with varying equipments on each & play for easier missions on each account daily. Also taking advantage of gold event days or Wars to max out cry intake for minimal exp earned. There's a whole bunch of lucky guys out there with massively OP-for-their-rank gear that are mostly playing on their main accs while their alt accounts are either dormant & waiting to obliterate new players during events...or, playing for missions in a couple of battles a day on each account. It'll take ages for those accounts to rank up. The amount of exposure new players get to these OP multi-acc guys depends on how many there are. Tanki is a 10+year old game now, even high ranks that had no interest in multi-accounting when they started might have started new accounts. Also, there's returning players to consider. I expect people will be complaining about this for a couple of years.

    When ranking up, I was often finding myself in battle with the same guy that always used Viking/thunder. They never turned their turret, but always seemed to finish top 3.

    Alterations give major advantages in various circumstances in battles...having them all exclusively for buyers gives a power advantage to buyers in any battle situation while non-buyers have virtually 0 chance of gaining the alterations that suit them. So the game is Pay to win. I'm just glad I played this game when it was good, now it's a much worse game sadly. Shame really... the core of the game is decent enough but developer decisions lately have been abysmal. It always had a Pay-to-win side to it but now it's completely out of control and devs don't even give a damn how blatant their cash grabs look. It's cringe-worthy to watch how desperate for cash they are. All businesses need cash but most manage to make money without looking utterly pathetic. This game is like watching an old mate totally lose the plot. The rep of this game is shot to pieces.

    Should gauss be nerfed?

    Gauss will be nerfed once enough players have purchased, upgraded and altered it. This is a surefire way to maximize the amount of people that Tanki annoys in one "rebalance". This is followed by much rage from players that promise to quit forever... only to reappear 2 minutes later sporting the next OP fad that they bought, which in turn is nerfed shortly after...and so on.

    Nice to see things like this in Tanki. 20 days to get 100k score and you get 10 days Premium...which you can then convert into a huge chunk of crystals with x1.5 funds if you have time. Well done!

    Seen one in CTF... Camped at base taking shots at attacking players with supplies activated, the supplies deactivation time is long enough for attackers to be destroyed by defenders. Attacking players leave for another battle cos they're wasting drugs in that battle & could win easier using less drugs elsewhere. Gauss user switched to attack and outnumbered team loses...=Pay-to-Win Could just target the Gauss, but there are other enemies to deal with before u get to it, and why bother if all you gotta do is go to another battle where there isn't a Gauss+Alt so you don't waste your drugs.

    The alteration shouldn't be in the game. PERIOD. Regardless of whether it's buyer only or available to all it'll have a terrible effect on gameplay. Another Pay-to-Win thing added to another bunch of P2W nonsense. Usual trash u get in MMO games when they get blinded by greed... Introduce OP pay-to-win gear for buyers only Buyers purchase OP gear and gain a huge advantage over free players and smaller buyers that have supported the game for years. Annoyed loyal players leave and the game declines. Buyers of this P2W gear pretty much paid for the game's demise just so they can be OP for a bit. This game has nowhere near the player base to get away with garbage updates like this...sure it can re-advertise to bring in players, but that costs and since it has already annoyed a huge chunk of the people that were looking for a tank game to play...good luck with that. This game's a shadow of its former self, such a shame.

    What are your thoughts on COVID-19?

    Was told on another forum that the anti-Malaria drug hydrochloroquine is being tested against covid-19 and signs that it could be useful in suppressing covid-19 pandemic have been positive. It reduces the length of time of the infection,reduces how much of a beating u get from the virus and gets it out out of your system quicker. It was identified as a possible treatment for an epidemic a while ago, but that virus was squashed before it could be tested. Only a vaccine will (probably)fully get rid of this. But something like this(or other drugs being tested-there are a few others)could reduce the burden on Health sectors that will be overrun by victims of Covid, considering they always have other illnesses, injuries etc to treat.

    Agree! Problem is if this Alt works like I think it will, it looks like a no-win situation, whatever group of players get to own it. If it's a shop bundle alteration then there'll be rage from non-buyers or anyone that's not willing to pay that amount of hard cash. Having your hard earned supplies lost to someone that you know just bought this alt that you cannot will be especially annoying. If it's available to all then i'd guess it'll have a big effect in battles if you're facing many Gauss+EMP more often. Effectively, a certain % of our missions will be for no rewards as the drugs we gain from them+containers will be wiped out before we get decent use out of them.

    Doesn't make sense to have this Gauss alt in a bundle for buyers only. Tanki Devs love to increase supplies consumption. Making it available for everyone increases the chances we get hit by a gauss with this alt, lose our supplies and use another drug immediately (or when we respawn) But if it is in “exclusive”shop bundle and it's even remotely OP...Not a good idea.

    Make the Game Harder

    If you were a newbie that's likely to have made mistakes like buying too many equipments or buying out of sales. When they did the Mk update (compared to some other more efficient/experienced players that know all about the game features) the chances are your Tank upgrades would be under the threshold to get converted up an Mk level (or 2 when you fully upgrade). You'd be one of those now using UP gear against legends on alts with OP gear. This game isn't good to real newbies now. Players learning the game controls, economy, drugs and other features should be allowed to make a reasonable amount of mistakes and not get hammered for it. Anyone with an account that sucks compared to opponents pretty much stalls their progress and turns them into cannon fodder for experienced players using their alt accounts. To solve this you can grind, buy, start a new account or quit. A new player might not know how best to grind crystals with a trash garage or not be into the game enough yet to buy or restart, so bye Tanki! I agree high ranks on low rank alts is gonna be too easy now if you have OP gear, always has been. Even in 2012 I could start a new account and be far more efficient in buying items than a genuine newbie, then having a better garage than the majority of competitors. This could possibly be solved by having a MM system that isn't total rubbish and actually pits good players with good gear and lots of drugs evenly against each other....same for newbies with UP gear. But overall, it's always gonna be a problem to find the balance of what the game difficulty should be when considering you can have total newbies pitted against players with 1000+ hours exp at the same rank.

    Drugs battles are one type of battle format, no-supplies battles is another format type. The issue shouldn't be with the format, because a lot of people enjoy drugs battles. The problem is Tanki insisting on herding as many as possible into what they see as the most lucrative format, by using rewards as bait. If you don't play MM and stay in no-supplies battles only, you miss out on loads of rewards. Drugs may have been in this game for ages, but that doesn't make them a good feature. Personally, I've got no probs with them, but can see why people dislike them. I like a good no-supplies battle but map variety in PRO mode at most times of day sucks. While drugs are an important source of revenue for Tanki, they may even be counter productive if they've turned off thousands of players from the game. Compared to a few years back, there are now tons of things to buy in this game. This game is quite likely to be losing out on sales of this new stuff because a ton of potential buyers quit the game because they hate this one feature in the battles they have to join for missions, challenges or to avoid the mults that ruin PRO battles. If you are a potential buyer of aesthetic stuff, gold boxes or equipments, but dislike the whole idea of a simplistic power-up system, no point bothering with a game that offers limited variety for your preferred battle format. One simple MM option for no-drugs battles in a random map/mode would do...won't hold my breath tho.

    Yep, it's not just the time but drugs too. My estimation is it'll take 40 hours to match 850 stars without premium, probably using anything between 1 to 3 thousand drugs in that time. Using less drugs would likely increase the time to hit 850. And of course it took a lot of time to gather thousands of those drugs in the first place. For the sake of those paints? Nah!!

    Since x2 funds ended on Sunday the scores for the Lady faction increased by 20 stars a day on both Monday and Tuesday. There's around 16 days left of the WAR so at that rate about 850 stars might be the target, although I wouldn't bank on that. We have to hope that target stalls somehow to be able to chase an easier target, but there's even a chance that it could increase faster towards the end of the WAR. IF 850 is the target then you're looking at 30 to 32 stars a day for the 27 days event. A player averaging 2 stars a battle will need around 16 battles a day, which is over an hour and a half a day depending on how annoying Matchmaking is being that day.
