You have the awareness to see if you're team needs you to stop chatting and focus on winning....unfortunately, a heck of a lot of people don't. They just carry on blah blah blah-ing for the entire battle. The day I decided to quit team battles I lost 2x 25,000+ crystals fund battles thanks to guys chatting away in battlechat, even when asked politely by me and a couple of other teammates to play. But hey...I'm not bitter. I just went to DM mode where I love seeing chatters = easy kills. :lol:

There are tons of people on this game that have spent nothing on the game and still have nice garages. Tanki can make as many updates as they want that are perceived to be buyer updates....doesn't matter, people will spend what they want, even if that means spending nothing at all. IMO, there's better value being a buyer in Tanki now than 3 or 4 years ago. 1500 drugs kits are better value for druggers than before they were removed from garage. If you wait till sales days, you can buy a half price m3 kit for cash and then use earned crystals to upgrade it to a level that makes it competitive almost instantly. New buyer paints are much nicer looking than most of the older paints, which gives them value to people that are into that sort of stuff....etc.etc. BTW, from what I've read on this forum, player decline is an advertising(or lack of) issue. It would make sense to only incur the cost of re-advertising once you have the game how you want it....which in this case is after the intro of HTML5 and matchmaking.

I hear what you're saying. But I think English speaking lobby chat is quite lively. Sometimes too lively to keep up with it, there's also some loonies on there too. :) And chatting in battles should be limited to things to do with the battle IMO. Half the reason I got sick of team battles was seeing two teammates having a nice cozy chat about inane drivel while the rest of their teammates that were fighting their hearts out are suffering cos they're effectively 2 players down while the chatters type away. Have to say it, and this is my honest opinion....in high rank battles at least the excessive chatters are almost always the losers and are often no more helpful than mults if they've junk typing skills, especially in XpBp and no-supply battles where every player is vital to team success. The flipside to this is that if I see 2 enemies chatting, I know I will win....defo!!

I remember when I first started playing Tanki I was getting a meagre share of the fund if I lost a battle, even if it was quite a close defeat. And things like cheap PRO passes for lower ranks and free ones for clanners is a totally underrated update. It really doesn't take a brainiac to figure out how to utilize this benefit to advance your garage in return for a minimal outlay of crystals on passes and equipment(XpBp & no-MU battles). The more fluid CP system is also an underrated update, can even join a team that's getting hammered and even if you lose but make a fight of it you can still get a decent reward. Whereas before the CP update it was worthless joining a team that's getting owned as you were guaranteed to win junk amount of crystals due to aforementioned fund distribution system, and it was seriously hard to make a comeback. I could probably reel off a list of 20+ ways that newbies have it easier nowadays.

I thought this when I first saw this puzzle...Why would tanki put the link that takes u to the puzzle on the description page of Synesthesia?...you have to win the paint to have access to the link, but then you already have the paint so you wouldn't need another chance to win a paint u have. But I'd assume that puzzle must win something....containers are Tanki's latest reward system...just saying. Also, maybe you have to have the paint to be able to solve the puzzle....that way it would be easier to give the reward directly to anyone that solved the puzzle, rather than giving it to some random guy....in other words, how do they link the reward for solving the puzzle to the account of the guy that solved it?...again, just speculating here.

What about 50% sales days. Or do you want a 250k protection to be halved in price?....then halved again on 50% sales. So you could get a M3 protection for 62500 crystals. :unsure: ...or even an M3 turret that could help you earn millions of crystals for around that cheap price...LOL.

Well I read it and feel I should be given some sort of Tanki Award for doing so, cos that was damn hard work. Agree with some, disagree with some. Can't really be bothered to debate cos the fellow seems quite rude TBH. Not a single mention of mults though, from a long term player on a huge rant against the game....Really?. One of the biggest problems this game has IMO.

Well I have 3 or 4 M4's I didn't have a year ago....so hell yeah!!...the game's much better for me.

10 days premium, 2 paints (graffiti and In love).....small amount of supplies and crystal. Happy enough with these rewards.

Have found the missions relatively easy myself, done in a couple of battles....hardest is probably the dismally boring collect boxes missions which is easier to do on the NY map. On some days I've made over 10k from missions alone. Nice!!

And this opinion is based on what? Get up to the high ranks and see for yourself the amount of cash loads of people are blowing on this game....the miserable prophets of doom that are on this forum don't half talk some naive nonsense.

This event is actually worse for DM players like me. The variety of already created DM battles has been reduced because there's so many New Year map battles. I can't wait for that map to go now. I got 10 days premium from one of my Frosty event containers and I want to make the most of it on DM maps that suit my best equipment......but I can't because of that damn map. The map was good for a few days and got boring as hell, just a very samey map that's only good for collect missions.

From what I saw, I doubt they'd be able to add awards or candidates to the lists. Because as soon as the awards list went live it already had hundreds of votes which would make it difficult to change the voting list. Also, adding awards isn't the issue, it's the absolute fact that a tuber will win any free vote award like the best player award. This is all well and good if the aim of these awards is to encourage more youtubers and makes anyone that wants a nomination into any category behave for the 6 months up to the awards in order to get nominated...quite clever really...the flipside is that the award loses credibility, and worse still, this whole award thing just looks like a clique. If the awards were designed to be credible you'd obviously look no further than a mix of esports players and high level legends as nominees so we can all make our own judgement based on tournaments and profiles.

The actual best player should win this award....nothing to do with role models and all that nonsense. What you guys are effectively saying is that the greatest legends that just go about their business kicking backside on a daily basis have no hope in hell of this award, because they're not a tuber or don't interact with the community, even if they don't have time, interaction skills or simply have a language barrier. In fact, if you don't have video making capability, forget it. There should be a separate award for tubers and this award should be for those that go about their business quietly and support the game in their own way. TBH, you'd be better off having tiered best player awards where players can vote for someone around their rank as best player. A legend knows who the better legends are, you can't expect a lower rank to know that because there's little chance of them seeing legends in battles. In fact the only chance they've got of seeing a high ranker in battles is on....you guessed it....youtube. Having said that, congrats to the winners and Happy New Year too.

My opinion of this game has improved since choosing to mainly play DM. Mults, inactives and noobs ruin team battles, no chance of that in DM. In fact, those noobs and inactives are easy kills in DM. It's a far more “harmonious” way to play the game where I don't have battles spoiled by selfish mult-using cowards. I have no problem being in a losing team that put up a good fight but lost because the enemy had some smart pros that played well and deserved to win. Unfortunately in Tanki, when I look at the scores at the end of battle I'd see too often that I won or lost largely because a servile mult dog infiltrated one team, did nothing of use and ruined the battle, in both Pro and non-Pro. All I want is fair and enjoyable battles, which team battles are not. If you hate mults and think there's too many noobs in Tanki, then the obvious answer is to play mostly DM to build up your garage and play team mode with trusted buddies every now and again when completing team mode missions. Build up a reliable friends list and get into a helpful clan if you then want to play more team modes, otherwise, you will continue to be have your battles ruined by killjoy mults = ragequit + smashed keyboard. BTW, Pro mode is the saviour of this game....without it I would have quit ages ago. Probably way before I got to legend ranks. The game need to encourage more participation, fairness and variety in Pro mode, because no-drug XpBp and multi-equip battles are a much better and less divisive advert for the game. A no-drug, drop only Pro battle with even teams on a map that suits all combos is as good as this game gets.

The special site broke because it couldn't believe I actually managed to get 891 kills :o The special site broke on purpose, because it really wanted the top 10 to stop obsessing about their overkill numbers and get their lives back. The special site has gone on holiday until boxing day. What's special about the special site is that it doesn't actually work that well. The Frosty weekend kills counter froze because it got frosty.

A nice Christmassy gesture would have been to make the rewards higher and the effort needed to achieve them only a little higher. A CTF mission of achieve 3k EXP for 150 or so drugs is no good for me. Just can't be bothered to play team battles that much. Others have missions on other modes they won't be bothered to achieve....not worth the hassle. So I'm actually skipping some of these missions when I don't do that for the rest of the year, pointless. C,mon Tanki.....be nice at Christmas pls........(sales and map are nice tho, to be fair)

Hmmm!.......I take it back, Magnum is it's usual OP self on this map. Such a joke of a turret IMO. Every other turret is pro in a few map, mode and formats, but useless in others. Damn Magnum seems to be clearing up the crystals everywhere and has way more use in more maps and formats than other combos. Press DD, fire a random lucky shot at a crowd....get loads of kills from a fluke shot that didn't hit anyone directly or wasn't even close in most instances. Big DL, big payouts. Cringey!! Still like the map tho.......

You got 2 nice missions there....better than the garbage missions I got. ----------------- I like the new map BTW.......Suits quite a lot of equipment combos and I doubt hated Magnub is too OP there either.(I hope)

Look at these junk missions. Looks to me like they just made the missions 3x harder but didn't increase the rewards relatively. Finish 1st 3 times for that reward is hardly worth the hassle, same for the other 2. Would probably use those rewards in drugs trying to achieve the missions. Nice work Scrooge Tanki.... :)
