    I'll do that. BTW, didn't mean you in that "where are the mods?" comment...to be fair you've been by far the most informative for this event. Just need some more in the lobbies, especially during the start of a big event like this. Once people get their heads around the event, it'll be fine I hope. ------------------- RE.     Just spent the last hour trying to explain this event to people on Lobby chat, where are the mods? Players are totally confused and the War Site mess is making it worse.

    Exactly my take on it. Used to quite enjoy those battles, XpBp and regular no-drugs Poly CP and some small maps are brilliant fun if you get two honest teams fighting it out. Problem is quite often they're fixed by one side that has a clown or 2 in the enemy that suddenly stops playing when the fund hits X amount.

    :D :D ...Yeah !, don't think we should ask to change stuff that's ready to go, I assume crashing the whole War in Tanki system wouldn't be that popular. Last question....Is there likely to be these daily N&A War update topics in this section? EN can use them to get any co-ordinated strategy messages through to more people.

    Nives, any chance of having a notification on in-game lobby News that advises EN players about which Regions to vote to attack & defend please?...would help co-ordinate strategy and make sure EN players don't waste votes. ...Perhaps you could link up with the dudes that are dealing with EN strategy to update it at the start of each strategy phase?? Plus a topic in this N & A section that can be updated by someone that links up with the EN strategy team would be nice. It would be useful to have this cos people in Tanki listen to you way more than the likes of me :lol:

    Rico Mammoth M2......which I used to buy Prometheus, which earned me the rest of my M4's. Still got old mammy....will take it out for a spin again before XT skin update, for old times' sake.

    Competitive Games vs. Blowout Games

    Voted the same as the majority without even looking, says it all really. Team battles are a car crash at the moment, just too many unsolved issues that lead to "blowouts" and frustrating game-play. Which is why I play mostly DM now and am enjoying the game more.

    Yep...a couple of other points. It pays to drag the war out till your team gets the 100 max containers....Winning too early is effectively bad for all the participants. If the war drags out....you'd assume the no-lifers and high-quality players would receive their max 100 container reward first. Will they all maintain interest in the contest?? (can't remember what the final reward is, temporary animated paint and a long shot at a dream tank I think)..is this enough? especially if they aren't necessarily fighting for their community, but themselves. p.s...these points are off the top of my head, might be complete nonsense.

    Pretty huge rewards.....I'll try my best to totally rinse this rewards system. 100 containers with my name on them. thx Tanki. Quite useful that your battle KD won't be included unless we finish the battle....for mission battles where sometimes my KD is junk, I can just achieve mission, leave battle and collect, without effecting community score.

    They're pro enough to adopt a few lower KD EN players for a few weeks. I'm pretty sure team RU would love having them on board. In fact, I've spoken to a few Russians today and they insisted all players with low KD join their cause..honest!! All medium and high KD EN players will obviously be better off with EN and trying for a shock win, kudos for beating the super-PRO Russians would be epic.

    One thing about choosing a faction....IMO anyone with a low DL is better off choosing RU, because the Russian Pros with their Pro DL ratios will easily push up the RU scores, especially the ones playing full drugging on their alternative accounts against lower ranks. Just way more likely to win....A no-brainer for someone with a low DL due to equipment or whatever.

    Not really much point arguing against whether or not a system that blocks junk DL's would be easy to implement or not...only the devs know that and me saying it's easy would be patronizing. Discounting junk DL's is one way to make sure Tanki Wars isn't too influenced by cheaters. As already pointed out the 200 kill threshold will limit a lot of multing, at the cost of putting off a lot of casual players. Personally, I'd be more inclined to please the casual players and find another way to deal with mults. TBH, discounting junk DL's is one of my more balanced ideas....If it was actually up to me, I'd simply remove the community paint from the garage of those with DL's in the bottom 5% of their communities(on days where DL is the deciding factor)....completely disqualifying them from the rest of the war. :ph34r:

    None of this would be a problem if Tanki discounted the contribution of mults when it comes to days where K/D matters. If they did that they wouldn't need the 200 kills thing....or perhaps it could be lower. ------------------------------- There's 2 problems I can see with using the 200 kill counter to limit mults. 1...It's a target that a load of casual players won't be able (or want) to achieve on whatever days they can't play as much. 2...A mult-user will still be able to mult this system with a couple of accounts. Lower the 200 kills threshold to suit casual players......and kick out the mults scores on days where K/D matters. Problem solved. YW.

    Seems like having to earn 200 kills is considered as the anti-mult feature of Tanki Wars. As if you don't get that amount of kills, your contribution doesn't count. Getting 200 kills is not that hard to do. Anyone could use any vaguely decent alt account in most DM battles to get 200 kills in an hour....or 50 kills each in 4 battles, It's really easy if that alt account happens to have tons of saved drugs. Once those 200 kills are done, that alt is then free to mult against a target community. My recommendation.......if a player uses their alt account to mult a community D/L....or if they get a terrible DL that's in the bottom 20% of their community, increase the number of kills they have to get in the next voting round, so they have to get 300 kills to vote and be able to compete for the next map section. And if they do that, then mult again = increase it to 400...and so on. Frankly, anyone committed enough to overcome this deserves to win. BTW, being able to compete without wearing the community paint is excellent....some genius guy must have thought of that idea. Well done to him/her.

    The problem is....KD is about the only thing Tanki could use. Most other ratings would heavily favour the larger communities. Using KD as the decisive factor wouldn't be so bad if Tanki discounted the mults' scores....i.e. any score of a player below 0.8KD doesn't count towards the overall communities scores. Would more likely result in the best team winning, rather than the least mult-affected team winning as it may end up being. Would also be less punishing for those that use worse combos for KD....So rather than making a direct contribution to their communities' KD average if they're not likely to get a good KD, they could make a contribution by hunting down other communities' players and worsening their KD. If Tanki includes the KD's of mults in this then the whole contest is pointless IMO....its guaranteed that some will complain about it cos they'll be seeing these inactive mults getting smashed up wearing their community paints. I just played in a couple of DM Highland rounds just now, one inactive there ended up with about a 0-120 score for the 2 rounds....Imagine what impact a few inactives like that would have on a community average KD if it was in battles for a few hours. And in DM, it wont even be breaking sabotage rules(I assume) p.s...not saying 0.8KD is a mult score, can be a decent score with some combos, just an example.
