I assume you mean Incendiary band and not reinforced aiming transmission. Heat resistance can definitely help you counter it (50% less afterburn damage, which is pretty significant), as can using peek-a-boo tactics and staying far away from the player. Vulcan requires you to hit enemies consistently to ignite them badly, so really any strategy that makes you harder to hit will help. The augment itself isn't really overpowered as unlike EMP salvo, you can have some protection against the heat build up. -

Actually that needn't be the case. At close range, you will most likely be very easy to destroy by someone using Reinforced aiming transmission. At long range, aiming and actually landing hits is a challenge, and someone using the adrenaline augment (which lets you have 100% bullet velocity) would most likely do better. Unlike Thunder, the augments aren't all that clear cut. Heat immunity totally shuts down Incendiary band (as in if you are using incendiary band against an enemy who uses heat immunity) too. -

To be honest, Incendiary Band vulcan is one of the lesser evils. It is annoying when people use Heat immunity with it, but unless there's a massive gap in power (as in 7k GS to 9999 GS or some such) it can be fought. Albeit ineffectively, but still. Double armour, heat resistance, some vulcan protection and staying mobile definitely make it much harder to kill you, even if you cannot get heat immunity. In any case, challenges and their gold tiers can reward you with Heat immunity such as the challenge for this month, which make it easier to get the augment. You do need tankoins, but at least it's a possibility. -
Well yes, that does something. However, at the end of the day, it still doesn't make EMP Gauss any weaker at range, and still allows players to remove supplies and easily destroy tanks. Even then, it's not really a huge obstacle to overcome provided you restrain yourself to arcade shots only at close range.

What? I was saying that YellowGhetto's suggestion (to make it so that your supplies are also deactivated if you are in the splash radius) won't help because if I am an EMP salvo user, I can use EMP immunity and thus my supplies will not be disabled even if I am in the blast radius.

No, I meant your idea would do nothing. The EMP salvo user can simply use EMP immunity and the "nerf" does nothing. If people could just equip EMP immunity, this wouldn't be such an annoying augment would it? The problem is that a lot of players don't have access to EMP immunity, and due to this suffer, which is what makes this augment so annoying for them.

Title says it! Basically, the EMP salvo augment can only disable supplies on any player it directly hits (like the AP augment for Gauss). Often times I see an EMP salvo gauss user, actively move away to prevent lock on, only for some teammate to drive past and get hit, disabling my supplies. A huge problem with EMP gauss is how it can take out the supplies of multiple people, and so I think this nerf would allow it to be powerful but not Overpowered.

I hope the incendiary rounds for Railgun appear in the garage eventually. All of the heating/freezing augments for turrets thus far are obtainable for crystals (Smoky's incendiary/cryo rounds, Hammer's dragon breath, Vulcan's infamous Incendiary Band) so it only makes sense for this one to be too. Not excited about facing off against Railgun's new stun rounds though.

Lots of people aren't totally pleased by it, which makes me think that people are under the impression that these sales can be made to replace the regular ones we have.

You misunderstand. I mean how does this particular update detriment you? I understand that Hooper is overpowered and needs a nerf. Similarly, AP and EMP effects are hard to deal with and the other things are frustrating. Yes, of course they want you to pay more attention to sales, but you don't have to constantly be on their facebook page. You miss a sale, it's not going to make you lose crystals or anything you already have. There is NOTHING to lose from Tanki introducing hot sales, except maybe a few minutes. People seem to misunderstand. These sales ARE NOT meant to supplement your regular sales you get on say Tanki's birthday. This is just an extra bonus you might get from time to time. Is it designed to get players to buy? Yes, I think so. But does that mean you cannot benefit unless you buy? No.

Understandable, but then there will be times when you can upgrade and those other players cannot.

Awesome update! Honestly, I don't see anything to be unhappy about. We don't lose any sales we'd normally get, and I mean you win some, you lose some, so of course there will be times when you get lucky and times when you don't, but that's fine because on the whole we get to greatly benefit from this. The sales on micro upgrades seem particularly interesting.

Yes! Even more comical is that often times there will be players who'll say "don't kill during the gold box!" and their the first ones discharging their weapons. -

At my rank, gold boxes usually have no value. If it's a regular gold box, I try to kill other players because I'd like to complete my mission faster (generally the "get x score" kind of mission) and sometimes I might wind up being able to take it myself. If it's a container or a special gold box, then I do it because I want to take it for myself and Viking can neither get on top of other hulls or push other hulls. -
Burst of light, hands down. Also, Techtonic plates, Thankos, Emerald.

What Is Your Opinion About the Current State of Tanki Online?

Crusader certainly isn't the most overpowered hull, but it's definitely far from being weak. It's the best hull for (ab)using Vulcan incendiary band and heat immunity with, and the OD is somewhat underpowered, but given the right circumstances can completely turn the tables. -
Wonderful! The missions are quite doable (and thus interesting), you get 6 containers and 7 ultra containers along with stars and the offers appeal to Tanki fans with a large budget and a small budget. Despite Valentines day being nothing special to me, I'm beyond thrilled with the way Tanki is celebrating it.

Well it stuns for 3 seconds I think, and during that you cannot move, so it is better than cryo in that when someone gets hit with cryo rounds, they can fight back. With this, you're frozen in place. Ignoring stun and cold immunity augments of course. Though I must say, the actual chances of a critical hit with the stun augment seem lower than those of cryo rounds.

Not sure if anybody was concerned/didn't know this, but I figure it's worth saying. THe paralyze augments round for Smoky does apply the stun effect, but you do NOT drop a flag/ball. You simply cannot move.

I think it would be great if the hull's OD got a buff. Not like a large damage increase, but the radius for AP and freeze to be applied (so maybe just these 2, not a damage radius buff) because right now I feel the OD is only useful for killing a tank. Tanks have to be right next to each other for you to ap and freeze them which is certainly not ideal. Other than that, I love the hull. I had no plans to upgrade it, but I got heat immunity, stun immunity and the XT skin so I decided to. Awesome decision.
